Remove the two holder clips (1).

Install the license plate on the bicycle holder with the clips (2).

Unscrew the controls to prepare the installation of the frame holder on the support bar.

Tighten the frame holder to slacken of the mounting. Pressing the clamp together at the same time can help.

Clamp the mounting around the support bar, and release the spring. NOTE The spring in the frame holder has high sprung resistance, so mind your fingers. Bicycle holder, towbar mounted EN Preparations

Pull the frame holders to the correct position.

Install the support arc in the holders and screw into position.

Unlock and pull the striker plate back on the tensioner arm. Check the symbol on the striker plate. EN Bicycle holder, towbar mounted Preparations

Fold the tensioner arm up.

Wipe the towbar clean.

Install the bicycle holder on the towbar.

Fold the tensioner arm down completely. NOTE There must be at least a 65 mm distance between the bumper and centre of the tow ball. Take care not to damage the bumper.

Move the striker plate forward, lock and remove the key.

Check the symbol on the striker plate. Bicycle holder, towbar mounted EN Preparations

Install the bicycle(s) on the bicycle holder.

Overlap the bicycles if more than one is to be loaded onto the holder. Place the heaviest bicycle innermost.

Check that the handlebar of the innermost bicycle does not lie against the tailgate of the car. If necessary, slacken off the handlebars and turn them or move the bicycle out one position. NOTE Remember that the exhaust gases from the car are hot and can affect the bicycle holder or its load. This especially applies to plastic parts. If necessary, you should route the exhaust gases away from the bicycle holder.

Secure the bicycle to the frame holder as illustrated.

Tighten the wheels using the straps. EN Bicycle holder, towbar mounted Transportation.

In order to open the tailgate on five doors cars, the bicycle holder can be angled backwards.

Fold the cover down, which is located above the holder for the license plate.

Pull up the catch handle.

Angle the bicycle holder backwards.

Open the tailgate. Bicycle holder, towbar mounted EN Transportation.

Fold up the bicycle holder until it locks with a clear click sound.

Check that the bicycle holder is properly locked in the folded up position.

The bicycle holder can be angled back to facilitate opening the tailgate. The opening angle can be adjusted. Moving the stop screws increases the opening angle (70º).

Slacken off the stop screws on both sides.

The pressure that is required to attach the bicycle holder to the towbar is 50kg (500 N). If the bicycle holder can be turned on the towbar, or if the tensioner arm is too stiff to fold down, adjust the attachment pressure.

Slacken off the adjuster screws.

If the bicycle holder is too loose, turn the protractor upwards.

If the tensioner arm is too stiff to fold down, turn the protractor downwards. EN Bicycle holder, towbar mounted Adjustment

Install the mountings on the holder according to the dimensions in the illustration.

Lock the mountings using screws.

Press the edge pieces into place and screw them into place on the underside.

Secure the screws in the mountings. Ensure that the screws are located in the mounting.

Assemble the mounting on the holder, 350 mm from the edge of the holder. Tighten to

Repeat on the other side.

Install the additional holder in the intended place in the bicycle holder. Install the mounting in the bicycle holder (1) and press the mounting into place (2). A click sound should be heard.

Install the bicycle in the holder.

Strap the bicycle to the closest bicycle with the frame holder.

Insert the tension straps through the wheels and tighten. Removing the additional holder

Hold the mounting and pull it forward and upward.

Unhook the additional holder from the bicycle holder. EN Bicycle holder, towbar mounted Holder for extra bicycle

Maximum weight per bicycle: 20 kg (15 kg on additional holder).

The vehicle driver has the sole responsibility for the product being free from defects and securely fastened.

Before a journey, the function of the lighting unit lights must be checked.

Do not leave any loose items on the bicycles during transportation.

Check that the straps and other mountings are secure and post tighten as necessary.

The length of the car increases when the bicycle holder is installed. The bicycles can add to the width and height of the car. Take care when reversing.

Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.

The bicycle holder must always be locked during a journey.

The driving characteristics of the car may differ when cornering and under braking when the product is installed.

Always follow applicable speed limits and other traffic laws.

The speed must be adjusted to the prevailing conditions, but must never exceed 130 km/h.

Tandem bicycles must not be transported.
