1. IMPORTANT – Read the instructions carefully before use and KEEP FOR

2. Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in

serious injury or death.

3. Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such

as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the Bugaboo Runner.

4. Take your child out of the Bugaboo Runner when going up or down

stairs and around steep or unstable conditions. Also, take extra care when going up or down a curb or other uneven surfaces.

5. Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.

6. NEVER leave child unattended.

7. Do not use if any part of the product is broken, torn or missing.

8. To avoid injury, especially finger entrapment, ensure that your child is

kept away when unfolding and folding this product.

9. Do not let your child play with this product.

10. Ensure parking brake is engaged when placing and removing children.

11. Use of non-Bugaboo accessories or packages may create a hazardous

or unstable condition if placed on the product.

12. Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those

approved by Bugaboo.

13. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use harness.

14. Do not use your Bugaboo Runner on stairs or escalators.

15. Suffocation hazard. Do no use the sun canopy in extended position in

combination with the rain cover.

16. Always use the wrist strap.

17. It is possible that on floors such as synthetic laminates,

parquet, linoleum and carpet (organic surface floors), rubber black tires may leave permanent marks. Should you have a floor as mentioned above we recommend to be careful with indoor usage.

18. This product may become unstable if bags or luggage other than those

recommended by Bugaboo are placed on the handlebar.

19. The Bugaboo Runner is suitable with Bugaboo Bee (as of model 2010),

Bugaboo Cameleon³, Bugaboo Donkey and Bugaboo Buffalo seats, in combination with dedicated adapter sets. Check with retailer or www,bugaboo.com for recommended use.

31. The brake is designed to slow the stroller, do not lean on the stroller

when applying to brake and do not rely on the stroller to slow you down.

32. Do not place accessories or bags on the handlebar while jogging, this

may create an unstable situation.

33. The use of extra protection equipment for your child such as a helmet

and knee/elbow/wrist padding is recommended.

34. Ensure you are visible while jogging. It is recommend that you wear a

TRmaintenance tips These tips will help you take care of your Bugaboo Runner and ensure a smooth ride.

• Periodically remove the wheels and brush off any dirt or sand. Use a brush and water to clean dirt off the wheels and the inside of the mudguards. Do not submerge the wheel bearings in water.

• Use a soft brush to clean sand and dirt off the chassis. Take care to brush dirt away from rotating or sliding parts. Then clean the chassis with a soft towel and lukewarm water and wipe off any remaining water with a dry cloth.

• Use a sponge, warm water and liquid soap to gently rub off any dirt on the handlebar foam. Wipe clean any soap residue left on the handlebar.

• Store your Bugaboo Runner and its accessories in a dry place and leave them unfolded when wet to prevent mould. Avoid while maintaining (or in use):

• Avoid using any oil, grease, gasoline, bleach, acid or soda based products on your stroller.

• Avoid using a high pressure hose to clean your stroller.

• Avoid letting water or dirt to enter the handlebar tube through the brake. For the best driving experience:

• Keep your tires at a pressure of around 3.5 bar to experience the lowest possible rolling resistance and therefore best jogging performance.

• Regularly remove accumulated dirt from the inside of the mudguards to ensure unhindered rotation of the wheels.

• If needed, adjust the front wheel tracking to ensure a straight rolling stroller by using the tracking adjustment wheel. See chapter "adjusting the wheel tracking". cleaning the fabrics The Bugaboo Runner seat fabrics are detachable and machine washable. When washing, don’t forget:

Always check the fabric label before washing. 30manufacturer’s warranty (for Europe only) As the manufacturer, Bugaboo International BV, which has its principal place of business in Amsterdam (hereinafter: “Bugaboo”), supplies the Bugaboo stroller (hereinafter: “product”) under warranty, subject to the following conditions:

1. The manufacturer’s warranty period is 24 months, from the date of purchase

as indicated on the sales receipt. The remaining guarantee for the original product will apply for a replacement part or product or a repaired product.

2. This manufacturer’s warranty applies only in the region (USA and Canada or

Europe or Russia or Australia and New Zealand or Asia) in which the product was purchased. Bugaboo guarantees that the product will be in compliance only with the statutory provisions and/or government regulations that apply in the region in which the product was sold. Bugaboo reserves the right to apply a divergent manufacturer’s guarantee for those specific regions.

3. The manufacturer’s warranty provides a right to repair unless Bugaboo

is of the opinion that replacement or return of the product is necessary. Bugaboo will bear the expense and risk of transport from and to the retailer (hereinafter: “the retailer”) where you purchased the product, provided the repair is covered by manufacturer’s warranty.

4. To claim under this manufacturer’s warranty you must provide Bugaboo with

the following: - a copy of the dated receipt of purchase, - a clear description of the complaint and - the defective product and/or photographs of the defective part or product.

5. The manufacturer’s warranty is not transferable and may therefore only be

invoked by the first owner.

6. The manufacturer’s warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may

have, for example the right to hold the retailer accountable for defects. what is covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee? The manufacturer’s guarantee applies in respect of the product and covers the following: - all manufacturing defects in the chassis, frame and the wheels; - all manufacturing defects in the adapters (frame and car seat adapters); - zippers; - all parts of the harness of your Bugaboo stroller; - seams in the covering; - Velcro

TRthe manufacturer’s warranty will void in the following circumstances: - If you have made or arranged for modifications or repairs to be made without first having received written permission from Bugaboo or the retailer. - Defects resulting from neglect or an accident and/or from any use or maintenance other than that indicated in the user guide. - If the serial number has been damaged or removed. - Damage to the product caused by normal wear and tear. - Incorrect mounting or installation of third-party parts that are incompatible with the product. - Inadvertent or unintentional damage, abnormal use or insufficient care. - Improper storage / product care. - Damage to push bars or upholstery due to normal daily use of the product. - Holes or tears in the tires. - Damage due to improper use or due to failure to follow user guide. - Damage due to repairs carried out by unauthorized persons or due to improper disassembly of the product. - Transport damage (during air transport or other modes of transport): carefully inspect your Bugaboo product after it was shipped by the airline (or other carrier) and in case of any damage immediately file a claim with the carrier. - Customer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of fit, weight, functionality, colour or design. manufacturer’s warranty conditions for Bugaboo special edition If you have purchased a Bugaboo special edition, go to www.bugaboo.com/ customer-service/special-editions for a complete overview of Bugaboo’s manufacturer’s warranty conditions. Your Bugaboo special edition may fall within the scope of other manufacturer’s warranty conditions than the conditions described in this user manual. Bugaboo reserves the right to stop manufacturing a particular model, colour, fabric or accessory, and therefore it will replace a part with a similar product, colour or fabric during the manufacturer’s warranty period. 32important The manufacturer’s warranty period for this product is 24 months from the purchase date indicated on the sales receipt. Save the sales receipt in a safe place and make a copy of it. It is even easier if you register your product at bugaboo.com and/or by using the warranty card enclosed. If you submit a claim under this manufacturer’s warranty you must first contact your retailer. For complaints that arise outside the manufacturer’s warranty period you must also contact your seller or you can contact one of our service centres. This warranty covers any defects in the chassis, frames, wheels, frame and car seat adapters, zippers, harnesses, seams in the covering, Velcro, and colorfastness of your Bugaboo product, with the exceptions stated below. what does this warranty not cover? This warranty does not cover claims and damage from:

1. normal wear and tear,

2. misuse such as, but not limited to, improper storage and product care,

3. maintenance and use other than that indicated in the user guide,

4. failure to follow the instructions in the user guide,

5. abuse, neglect, carelessness, or accident,

6. caused by the modification or alteration of the product,

7. air transportation or freight damage,

8. damage to tires such as holes or tears, and

9. incorrect mounting or installation of third party parts that are incompatible

TRThis warranty does not cover a Bugaboo product whose serial number has been damaged or removed. This warranty only covers damage and defects and does not extend to claims that you may have regarding dissatisfaction with the product in terms of its fit, weight, functionality, color or design. what Is the period of coverage? This warranty remains in force for two years from the date of purchase as long as you are the original purchaser who owns the Bugaboo product. You must keep your receipt as proof of the date of purchase. Replacement or repaired parts will only be warranted for the remaining period of the original warranty. what will we do to correct problems? We will repair your Bugaboo product at no cost to you, or if repair is not possible, replace the product. We will pay for transportation from and to the retailer that will service your Bugaboo product, as long as the repair or replacement is covered by this warranty. how can you get service? To obtain service for your Bugaboo product, contact the retailer from which you purchased the product. If the retailer is unable to arrange for the service of your product or if Bugaboo was your retailer, please contact us via e-mail at serviceus@bugaboo.com, telephone at 1-800-460-2922. When you submit a claim for service, you must provide a copy of the purchase receipt, a description of the issue with the product, and the product and/or photographs of the product or part which is broken or not working properly. what is the warranty for a Bugaboo special edition? If you purchased a special edition of the Bugaboo, please access www. bugaboo.com/customer-service/special-editions for a complete overview of our warranty. Your Bugaboo Special Edition may be covered by another warranty than the one described in this user guide. We reserve the right to discontinue a particular model, color, fabric, or accessory. Should a particular model or part that is under warranty become unavailable and in need of replacement, we will replace it with an equivalent model or part. 34how will state law affect your customer’s rights under this warranty? To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty, written or oral, including but not limited to any express warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The duration of any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is expressly limited to this warranty period. Your exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty or of any implied warranty or of any other obligation arising by operation of law or otherwise shall be limited as specified herein to repair or replacement, at our sole option. Responsibility for incidental or consequential damages is expressly excluded. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow an exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. replaceable parts We pride ourselves on creating products based on high quality and standards. That’s why only genuine Bugaboo parts or parts which have been approved by Bugaboo should ever be used in conjunction with the Bugaboo stroller.
