Parts and operating controls
1 on/off switch 2 Temperature selector + / - (min 120°C - 200°C) 3 Display 4 Heating element 5 Clip
Operation
- Plug in the appliance and place it on a level, heat-resistant surface.
- To switch on, hold down the on/off switch 1 for about 1 second. The preset temperature (140°C) lights up on the display 3.
- The desired temperature can now be set using the temperature selector 2 at intervals of 10 between 120°C and 200°C .
- Up to 140°C for fine, delicate hair
- Approx. 180°C for normal hair
- 180°C or higher for thick or wavy hair.
Tip: Reduce the temperature for damaged hair (the ideal temperature is approx. 140°C ) to protect it.
The appliance heats up, the preset temperature flashes in the display.
The appliance is ready for use when the preset temperature is illuminated and no longer flashing.
Note: To switch off, hold down the on/off switch 1 for about 1 second.
Use
Risk of burns!
Never allow appliance to come into contact with skin (scalp or ears).
- Only use the appliance on dry hair.
- Use only on untreated, healthy hair.
- Use less frequently on permed, coloured or affected hair.
Note: Fine hair responds very quickly to the treatment. The even heat emission is especially gentle on the hair.
- Comb the hair and section it into even strands (about 2-3 cm wide). The finer the strands, the tighter the curl, as all the hair comes into contact with the heated curling tongs.
- Open the curling tongs by pressing the clip 5.
- Insert a strand of hair and close the clip. Figure a
- Now pull the curling tongs down to the ends of the hair and turn to wind up the strand. Figure b
Important: If you have long hair, use the entire surface of the heated barrel. This spreads the heat evenly through the hair and delivers better styling results.
- Leave the curling tongs in the hair for a few seconds to shape the curl.
- Release the strand of hair by opening the clip with small movements while removing the curling iron sideways from the hair strand.
N.B.: Make sure that the curl is not pulled straight when removing the curling tongs. For longer lasting curls, use a hair clip to hold the curl in place while it is still rolled up.
Tip: Allow hair to cool completely before styling.
Give your hair extra volume by running your fingers through the curls.
For more natural looking waves, you can also use the curling tongs as a hairdresser would with the clip closed.
Hold the strand of hair by its tip and wrap it in a spiral around the closed curling tongs.
Figure c
Leave the curling tongs in the hair for a few seconds to create the wave.
When the curl has formed, let go of the strand of hair.
Tip: For a more modern look, don't wrap the strand of hair starting at the roots, but leave the first few centimeters straight.

Use
Warning! Risk of burns!
Avoid contact with the scalp and ears.
Use the device on dry hair. Use the device only on healthy, untreated hair. - If your hair has been permed, dyed, or treated in any other way, use the device with caution.
Information: Fine hair is damaged very quickly. Distribute the heat evenly over the hair.
- Divide the combed hair into equal sections about 2-3 cm wide. The thinner the section, the curlier the hair will be, because in thin sections all the hair touches the hot plates.
- Open the plates by pressing the clamp 5. Insert a section of hair and close the clamp. Fig. a
- Now pull the plates down to the ends of the hair and curl the section. Fig. b
Important information: If you have thick hair, use the entire surface of the heating plate. This way, the heat is distributed evenly over the hair and optimal styling is achieved.
Twist the hair strands into curls. Pull the hair strands out, carefully opening the hair clip and sliding it along the hair strand.
Note: Repeat the straightening process.
For a longer-lasting curl, use the hair clip, securing the hair in a twisted position.
Recommendation: Before styling, let the hair cool down.
When sliding the clips with your fingers, the waves become more defined.
For a more natural wave, you can use the hair clip to create a wave, then secure it with a clip.
Take the end of the hair strand and wrap it around the closed clip. See figure c.
To add more waves, twist the hair strand for a few seconds in the hair. After that, the clips are ready, pull out the hair strand.
Tip: For a more modern look, wrap the hair strand from the roots, and secure it for a few centimeters.
