Before cleaning the Cameo ZENIT Z120 G2, two essential precautions must be taken: turn off the device and unplug it from the power supply, then wait at least 10 minutes before any handling, as the surface of the black lacquered metal casing can reach 70°C during normal operation.

For cleaning the exterior surfaces, use exclusively a soft, dry cloth. Absolutely avoid aggressive chemical products, solvents, or abrasive materials that could damage the casing or the IP65 bases. Never immerse the device and do not clean it with running water, even if its connectors have an IP65 rating.

The ZENIT Z120 G2 has an IP65 protection rating which makes it resistant to water splashes, but this does not mean you can clean it with a water jet: use only the dry cloth. The 5-pin XLR connectors (DMX IN/OUT) and Power Twist IP65 can be gently wiped with a dry cloth; avoid introducing moisture, even in minimal amounts.

The device is equipped with a pressure equalization element that prevents internal condensation. Never attempt to access or intervene inside the casing, as this would void the warranty and damage the device. Be especially careful not to obstruct the ventilation areas (natural convection cooling), such as the ventilation grilles of the casing.

In case of difficult environmental conditions (significant dust, humidity, smoke, nicotine...), regular professional maintenance is recommended to avoid the accumulation of internal deposits that could cause overheating or malfunctions. This specialized maintenance is not covered by the warranty, but it significantly extends the lifespan of the device.

The lifespan of the 120 W COB LED module is estimated at over 50,000 hours of use. The lenses and zoom optics must also remain clean to preserve the quality of the light beam.
