Slowly turn this ring counterclockwise until it detaches. There is no need to force it
Remove the decorative ring, which frees access to the light fixture cover
The light fixture cover (bottom part of the kit) can then be removed downwards by simply pulling
If the light fixture is still electrically connected, gently disconnect the electrical connectors. These connectors can be unplugged by hand without the need for tools

Once the light fixture is removed, you have direct access to the fan blades. You can then access the screws securing the blades located on the motor mounting arms, as well as the tightening screws for the blade supports.
