Frequently Asked Questions - FS 40 R ECG

How do I properly assemble the fan?
Attach the base to the pedestal with the provided nut and screw. Slide the rear grille onto the motor body aligning the projections, secure with nut (clockwise). Attach the fan blade to the motor shaft and secure with nut (counterclockwise). Attach front grille to rear grille using clips and the bottom screw. Fit the fan body onto the telescopic pole and tighten the screw. Extend the pole to desired height and lock with the nut.
How can I clean the fan safely?
Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe surfaces. Do not use solvents or aggressive cleaners. Use a vacuum cleaner with a dust nozzle to clean the grills. Never immerse the fan in water or allow liquids to enter the device.
How does the timer function work?
Press the TIMER button repeatedly to set the auto-off time from 0.5 hours up to 7.5 hours. Each press adds 0.5 hour. The LED indicators show the set time as a sum (e.g., 0.5h+1h+4h = 5.5h). To cancel, set the maximum and press TIMER again until all LEDs turn off.
What are the different fan modes?
Normal: constant speed at selected setting. Natural: automatically cycles through high, medium, and low speeds to simulate natural breeze. Sleep: runs in Natural mode at high speed for 30 min, then medium for 30 min, then continues at low speed until turned off.
How do I use the remote control?
Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control, observing correct polarity. Point the remote at the control panel on the fan. The buttons on the remote mirror those on the panel: OFF, ON/SPEED, TIMER, SWING, MODE.
Can I use the fan with an external timer or smart plug?
No. The manual explicitly warns not to use this fan with a program, timer, independent remote control system, or any device that switches the fan on automatically. Risk of fire if the fan is covered or incorrectly positioned.
What should I do if the fan emits an unusual smell or smoke?
Immediately unplug the fan from the power outlet and stop using it. Contact an authorized service center for inspection. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
How do I store the fan when not in use for a long time?
Clean the fan, unplug it, and store it in its original packaging if possible. Keep in a dry place protected from dust and moisture. Check the condition periodically before reuse.
Is the fan safe to use around children?
Children under 8 years of age should be supervised when using the fan. Ensure children do not play with the appliance or packaging. The fan should be placed on a stable surface out of reach of small children to prevent tipping.
What does the warranty cover and void?
The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect use, failure to follow safety measures, unauthorized modifications, or repairs by non-authorized personnel. Components subject to normal wear and tear are also excluded. For coverage, contact the retailer or authorized service center.

  • Horizontal oscillation (left - right): it is controlled by the "SWING" button on the remote controller or on the control panel. The proper indicator lights up on the panel. If you want the movement stopped, press the button again. The indicator "SWING" switches off.
    • Vertical tilt (up/down): To set it, grasp the head of the motor and tilt it in the desired direction. You will hear a click indicating the locking of the head in the chosen position.
  • Timer: This feature allows you to set the time after which the fan is automatically turned off. Set the timer by repeatedly pressing the button TIMER on the remote control or on the panel of the device. Each time you press the button, you extend the set time from half an hour to a maximum of 7.5 hours. The LEDs on the panel show the set time (0,5h, 1h, 2 h, 4 h).

The time is given as a sum of LEDs (for example if the timer is set for 5,5 hour the LEDs show 0,5h+1h+4h).

- If you want to deactivate the timer, set the maximum time and press TIMER once again (all LEDs turn off).

- To turn off the fan, press on the remote control or panel of the device the OFF button. Then unplug the power cable from the socket.

When you are not using the device, always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Make sure that no liquid enters the device.
  • Protect the appliance from water and high humidity!
  • Do not immerse the fan into water!
  • If the fan is not used for long time, it is necessary to protect it from dust and moisture. We recommend that you store it in its original packaging.
  • In the event of a malfunction or an unusual odor, unplug the appliance from the power supply and have it checked by an authorized service center.
  • You can use vacuum cleaner with a dust nozzle to clean the grilles.
  • Check it once a week and using a vacuum cleaner clean the back grill of the fan.

We recommend to keep the packaging for possible transportation or storage of the fan.
