How do I clean the Zelmer ZJE4800 SANO juicer?

Why won't the juicer start?

The appliance has a double safety system. Ensure the pulp container, upper cover, and connecting head are properly installed. If still not working, check the power supply and switch position.

What should I do if the motor stops during use?

This may be due to overload or motor thermal protection. Turn off the appliance, remove excess food, and let it cool for 20-30 minutes before resuming. Also check that voltage is not too low.

5. Please strictly comply with the rated operating time. Juicing function continuous operation must not exceed 2 minutes, cooling should take place after 2 minutes of processing. After 2 minutes as a cycle and continuous work in 3 cycles, the product must stop for 15 to 20 minutes. Wait for motor to cool before working again. This method is best to extend the life of the product
6. If the product stops working in the process of operation, it may be caused by the temperature control protection of the motor. Please turn off the power and then use the product after 20-30 minutes of cooling

USING METHODS

Thoroughly clean the parts in contact with food before using the product for the first time, (refer to "Chapter 4: Maintenance").

The knob switch:

1. "0": off / stop
2. "1": low rotate speed for squeezing juice from soft fruit and vegetables such as watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries etc.
3. "2": high speed. Suitable for juicing hard fruit and vegetables such as carrot, beetroot, apples, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

This product has a double safety system. It starts working only after all parts are properly installed.

Please follow these steps when installing and using the product:

1. Remove the power cord and place it behind the machine.
2. Install the pulp container on the main body; Put the sieve into the pulp container ensuring that it is installed properly on the connecting head.
3. Install the top cover to the main body and ensure that the cover is in place.
4. Fit into two corresponding grooves and push down the connectors until a click indicates that the installation is in place otherwise the product will not work.

Please pay attention to check whether the sieve is damaged before use or after use. If there is any damage, please stop using the sieve and immediately contact the customer service department of our company. Do not perform repairs by yourself.

1. Turn the juice outlet downwards and place the juice container provided or other container parallel to the outlet
2. Put the inlet protective cover in its position
3. Put the pusher in the inlet
4. Wash the ingredients and cut into the size of the inlet
5. Turn on the power, turn the switch to the appropriate gear. Then the product starts work. The
   working time is less than 2 minutes.

Please make sure the switch is off before turning on the power.

Please first remove hard seeds, thick skin or hard shell from the ingredients.

1. Put the prepared ingredients into the feeding inlet and gently push the fruit and vegetable pieces with the push rod. Do not push too hard, so as not to affect the juicing effect

2. When food processing ends, when no more juice flows out, close the switch, cut off the power, wait until motor and sieve stop and there is no more juice

Take juice container to drink the juice. If the pulp container or juice container is full, disconnect the power supply and clean the pulp and container. It is recommended that juice should be drunk immediately. Exposure to air for long periods of time affects the taste and nutritional value.

JUICING TIPS

• Choose fresh fruit and vegetables such as pear, grape, melon (watermelon, cantaloupe), celery sticks, beetroot, carrot, etc. They contain more juice.
• You need to peel off the thick skin of pineapple, cantaloupe and raw beetroot.
  • The seeds of citrus fruit will make juice taste biller and it is recommended to eliminate them
  • The amount and taste of apple juice depends on the type and freshness of apples
• Freshly squeezed apple juice quickly turns brown, which is a normal oxidation phenomenon. Add a few drops of lemon juice to slow the oxidation process
• Fruit that contain starch such as bananas, papaya, avocado, figs, peaches and mangos are not suitable for juicing in juicers.

MAINTENANCE

Please clean the product timely after use. Before cleaning the product make sure to turn off the switch and disconnect the product from the power supply. Please wipe the main body with wet cloth. Do not rinse or soak with water to avoid leakage or device damage.

This product should be stored in a dry place and with no direct exposure to UV. Before storing the product, make sure it is clean and dry.

Follow the steps below to remove and clean the juice function component:

1. Take out pushing rod, open the left/right buckle
2. Take down the top part, sieve, pulp container and so on
3. Add detergent in clear water, clean sieve with cleaning brush, rinse clean with water. The other removable components are cleaned with a sponge or a wet cloth. Use warm water (temperature less than 60°C) adding a few drops of dishwashing detergent to make the cleaning effect better.
