- This appliance is intended for heating up beverages and food. Drying food or clothing and heating pillows, shoes, sponges, wet clothes and similar items may involve risk of injury, ignition or fire.

- Heating up beverages may cause them to boil. For this reason, precautions must be taken when handling the container.

- Contents of baby bottles and baby food jars should be swirled or shaken and the temperature should be checked before consumption to avoid burns.

- Shell eggs and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in the microwave, as they may explode even after microwave heating has ended.

- Poor maintenance and cleaning of this appliance may lead to surface deterioration, reduced service life and potentially hazardous conditions.

- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product rating label and that the plug is earthed.

- Do not use outdoors.

- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.

- Use this appliance only for its intended purpose, as described in this manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapours in this appliance. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.

- WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged, the product must not be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person.

- Do not operate the microwave when empty.

- In order to reduce fire risk:

a. Do not overcook food.
b. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing them inside the microwave.
c. Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers.

- In case of smoke or fire inside the appliance, keep the door

closed, turn the appliance off, and unplug it from the power supply to extinguish the flames.

- Do not place hot or frozen food or cookware on the turntable to prevent breakage.

- After operation, the container is likely to be very hot. Use gloves to avoid burns and injuries.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.

- Metal containers must not be used during microwave operation.

- Do not use steam cleaners on this appliance.

- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timers or separate remote-control systems.

- This microwave is not intended to be built-in or installed in furniture. It must be freely positioned ensuring the following clearances:

  1. Top: at least 20 cm apart.
  2. Between the appliance and any adjacent wall: at least 5 cm.
  3. Rear: leave a 10 cm gap.
  4. From the microwave to the ground: 85 cm.

  5. This appliance is a Group 2 Class B ISM equipment. The definition of Group 2 which contains all ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) equipment in which radio-frequency energy is intentionally generated and/or used in the form of electromagnetic radiation for the treatment of material, and spark erosion equipment. Class B equipment is suitable for domestic use and in establishments directly connected to a low voltage power supply network, which supplies buildings used for domestic purpose.

  6. This product internal light source LED light on < 60 lm.
  7. 20 minutes after plugging it in and without performing any other operation, or at the end of work, the device enters standby mode, and the standby power measurement did not exceed 0.78 W.

INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ

  4. Turntable ring: attaches to the turntable; the motor underneath rotates it.

- Fit the plate on the shaft, ensuring correct engagement.

2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
  • Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them

are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

- Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.

3. INSTALLATION

  1. Remove all packaging. If there is a protective film on the device, remove it before use. Check for possible damage; if any exists, notify the distributor or the manufacturer's technical service.
  2. Place the microwave in a dry, non-corrosive environment, away from sources of heat and moisture (e.g. gas burners, sinks).
  3. Ventilation: leave at least 20 cm at the back, 5 cm on each side and 20 cm free over the top. The height from the ground should be at least 85 cm.
  4. Place it far away from TV, radio or antennas (more than 5 m) to avoid interference.
  5. Position the appliance so that the plug is accessible and ensure proper grounding to avoid electric shock.
  6. The microwave must be operated with the door closed.
  7. Do not place the microwave inside a cabinet. It is designed for stand-alone (desktop) use.
  8. There may be manufacturing residue or oil in the interior or heating element; initially it may smell or emit slight smoke. This is normal and will disappear after several uses. Ventilate by opening door or window. It is recommended to place a cup of water in the cavity and operate at high power several times.

4. OPERATION

When the microwave is plugged into the power outlet, the display illuminates and enters standby mode showing 1:00.

Microwave function

Press the microwave function touch icon repeatedly to select the desired power.

Turn the knob to set the time (0:10 to 60:00).

Press the Start/+30 s touch icon. A beep will sound at the end. Power and use:

M.High 80% medium-fast cooking
Med 50% ideal for steaming/medium cooking
M.Low 30% defrosting
LOW 10% keep warm

Notes:

a) Maximum time: 60 min.
b) Do not use the grill rack during microwave cooking.
c) Do not operate the unit empty.
d) At full power, the appliance will automatically reduce power after a certain cooking time to extend its service life.
e) If you open the door during operation, press the touch icon start/+30 s once to resume the program after closing the door.
f) If you remove the food before the preset time, press the pause/lock touch icon once to delete the program and avoid unwanted starts.

DEFROST/CLOCK

A. DEFROST

Modes: dEF1 (by weight) and dEF2 (by time).

Press the defrost/clock touch icon to toggle dEF1/dEF2 (displayed).

Turn the knob to set weight (100-1500 g in dEF1) or time (0:10-60:00 in dEF2).

Press the Start/+30 s touch icon. It will sound at the end.

In dEF1 a warning will sound to remind you to turn the food over.

Tips:

a) Turn the food for a uniform cooking result.
b) Thawing usually takes longer than cooking.
c) If you can cut with a knife, thawing is sufficient.
d) Microwaves penetrate about 4 cm into most food.
e) Consume as soon as possible after defrosting; refreezing is not recommended.

B. CLOCK (24 hours)

In standby, press and hold the defrost/clock touch icon for more than 3 seconds to enter the time setting mode.

The time (hours) flashes: turn the knob and press the touch icon start/+30 s to confirm it. Set the minutes the same and press the touch icon start/+30 s to confirm and exit.

Press the menu touch icon repeatedly to select A.1-A.8.

Turn the knob to select the portion/weight.

Press the Start/+30 s touch icon. A beep will sound at the end.

Notes:
a) Expected initial temperature: 20-25°C. A higher or lower food temperature before cooking would require increasing or decreasing the cooking time.

b) The temperature, weight and shape of the food have a significant influence. Adjust the times according to the result.

REHEAT

Press the overheating touch icon and select the weight: 200 g, 400 g, 600 g, 800 g or 1000 g. Press the Start/+30 s touch icon to start the process. A beep will sound at the end.

TIMER

In standby mode, press the timer touch icon; «0:00» appears with the countdown icon.

Set the time up to 60 minutes with the knob.

Press the Start/+30 s touch icon to start the process. A beep will sound when finished.

KEEP WARM

In standby, press the Keep Warm touch icon and select 15:00, 30:00, 45:00 or 60:00 (or set with the knob).

Press the Start/+30 s touch icon. A beep will sound at the end.

ECO/MUTE

A. ECO: in standby mode, press the ECO/Mute touch icon to enter ECO mode; the display turns off. Press any touch icon to exit this mode.

B. MUTE: in standby mode, press and hold the ECO/Mute touch icon to activate/deactivate the beep.

SELF-CLEANING

In standby, press the self-cleaning touch icon. Place 250 mL of water in a container inside the cavity.

Press the Start/+30 s touch icon. A beep will sound at the end.

When cool, wipe with a soft cloth to clean.

PAUSA/BLOQUEO

During programming, press the pause/lock touch icon to cancel and return to standby. During operation, press the Pause/Lock touch icon to pause; press again to cancel and return to standby.

INICIO/+30s

After setting time or weight, press the start/pause touch icon to start.

In operation, each press adds 30 s (not available in automatic menus or dEF1).

When paused, press the start/pause touch icon to resume.

CHILD LOCK

Activate: in standby, press and hold the Pause/Lock touch icon for more than 3 seconds. Only the pause/lock touch icon remains operational.

Deactivate: in locked state, press and hold the pause/lock touch icon for more than 3 seconds to restore the controls.

UTENSILS GUIDE

Use microwave-safe containers. In general, ceramic, glass or heat-resistant plastics are suitable. Do not use metal in microwaves or in combination (risk of sparks).

TIPS

Food placement: thick parts towards the outside, thin parts in the centre; distribute evenly; avoid overlapping.

Duration: start with short times, evaluate and increase as needed. Excess may cause smoke/burns.

Uniformity: flip foods such as chicken, hamburgers or steaks once. If necessary, remove from the edges to the center 1-2 times.

Resting: when finished, let stand to complete cooking and cool gradually.

Cooking point: useful signals

  • Steam comes out of all areas, not just edges.
  • The bird's joints move easily.
  • Pig or poultry without traces of blood.
  • The fish is opaque and is separated with a fork.

Microwave-safe plastic film: with very fatty foods, avoid touching the food (it may melt).

Microwavable plastics: some are not suitable for very fatty/sweetened foods. Do not exceed the preheating time indicated by the utensil manufacturer.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance regularly and remove food debris.

a) Unplug before cleaning and allow to cool. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
b) Failure to keep the microwave oven clean can damage surfaces, shorten the service life and cause dangerous situations.
c) Do not use abrasive detergents, gasoline, abrasive powders or metal brushes.
d) Do not remove the waveguide cover.
e) If, after prolonged use, odors appear in the cavity, you can remove them:

  1. Lemon slices in a cup: heat at high power 2-3 min.
  2. A cup of black tea: hot at high power.
  3. Orange peels: heat 1 min at high power.

f) When not in use, place the product in areas as dry and ventilated as possible.

Cleaning of food contact surfaces:

- Wipe the waveguide cover with a damp cloth and then wipe dry. Accumulated grease can overheat and start to smoke or catch fire.

Cleaning tips:

  • Exterior: soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Door and window: soft damp cloth.
  • Door seals and adjacent areas: wipe up spills or splashes.
  • Control panel: soft cloth slightly moistened.
  • Interior walls: soft damp cloth.
  • Waveguide cover: clean food splashes.
  • Turntable/ring/shaft: wash with mild soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

To check that the microwave is working properly, carry out the following checks:

  1. Fill a cup with approximately 150 ml of water and close the door. The interior light should switch off if the door is properly closed. Turn the microwave on for one minute.
  2. Does the light switch on?
  3. Does the cooling fan work? To check this, place your hand over the rear ventilation openings.
  4. Does the turntable rotate? The turntable can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. This is normal.
  5. Has the water warmed up?

If the answer to any of the above questions is «No», check the socket and fuse. If both the socket and the fuse are not working properly, please contact the Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.
