Intended use

This appliance is used for juicing fresh fruit and vegetables such as pineapple, apples, beetroot, celery, cucumber, carrots and tomatoes.

Bowls can also be processed if they are eaten.

Starchy foods such as bananas, papayas, avocados, figs and mangoes as well as particularly hard and fibrous fruit and vegetables should not be processed with the appliance.

Small fruits, such as berries, are difficult to juice with the centrifugal principle. If necessary, use a suitable berry press.

The appliance shall only be used in the manner described in this instruction manual. You shall not use it for commercial purposes.

Any other use is considered improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.

Unpacking the Appliance

  1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
  3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
  4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.

WARNING: Risk of Injury!

  • Cut injuries! The centrifugal sieve is sharp!
  • Be careful when handling the centrifugal sieve.
  • Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance and always wait until it has come to a standstill.

- Do not manipulate any safety switches.

- Do not remove the lid during operation.

Notes for Use

  • The appliance is equipped with a safety switch. It prevents the appliance from being put into operation without being locked.
  • Place the appliance on a firm and level surface.
  • Wash the fruit you wish to juice beforehand.
  • Cut large fruits so that they fit into the filler opening.
  • Remove large seeds and stems.
  • Berries (e.g. gooseberries, blackberries, blueberries) are usually not juiced but pressed.
  • When juicing particularly juicy fruits, splashes of juice may escape from the pomace container. In this case, we recommend emptying the pulp container more often.

Electrical Connection

Before inserting the mains plug into the socket, check that the mains voltage you intend to use matches that of the appliance. You will find the information on the type plate.

  1. Position the appliance so that the control panel is facing you.
  2. Place the centrifuge housing on the base housing. Place the centrifuge housing on the base housing so that the spout fits into the recess.

Place the centrifuge sieve on the drive wheel. Press it downwards. It must engage audibly and should not come loose when pulled lightly!

  1. Place the pulp container on the left-hand side. To do this, hold it at a slight angle to push the upper edge into the collar of the centrifuge housing.
  2. Put on the transparent cover. It also extends over the pulp container.
  3. Fasten the transparent cover with the latch. To do this, insert the locking mechanism into the recesses in the cover. The lock must engage audibly.
  4. Place the juice container (without the foam scraper) on the spout.

Function Buttons

The buttons on the appliance are touch buttons. Touch the buttons lightly with a finger to perform the function. Each keystroke is confirmed with a beep.

Switching the Appliance On/Off

  • Press the POWER button to switch the appliance on.
  • To switch the appliance off, press and hold the POWER button.
  • If no button is pressed for approx. 5 minutes, you will hear 5 signalling tones and the appliance switches off.

Starting/Interrupting Operation

You can start and interrupt operation with the START STOP button.

Press the MENU button repeatedly to select the desired speed level:

Pulse Mode

Pulse mode is achieved by pressing and releasing the PULSE button at intervals. This immediately reaches the highest speed level. The display shows?

Operation

WARNING: Before switching on, check that the accessories are securely attached.

  1. Switch on the appliance with the POWER button. The display and the control lamps for the speed levels light up. The control lamp for the first speed level flashes.
  2. Select the desired speed level with the MENU button.
  3. Start the motor with the button.
  4. Insert the fruit into the filler opening and push with the tamper.
  5. The stuffer only fits into the filler opening in one position. Pay attention to the marking ↓.

  6. The juice flows out of the right-hand side of the housing. The pulp is collected in the pulp container. If there is a large amount of juice coming out, select a lower speed level. Start the motor again with the button START STOP . Apply less pressure with the stuffer.

- Keep an eye on your juice container. Stop operation in good time so that the container does not overflow.

Interrupting Operation

  • Operation is interrupted when you press the START/STOP button. If you want to resume operation, press the START/STOP button.
  • Operation is also interrupted when you press the MENU button. The symbol for the next higher automatic programme flashes.
  • However, if you unplug the appliance, your current settings will be lost. The appliance displays the speed levels again when you have plugged in the mains plug and pressed the POWER button.

  1. Press the START STOP button to end operation.
  2. Switch off the appliance with the POWER button.
  3. Unplug the mains plug from the socket.
  4. Put the juice container to one side. Place the foam scraper in the juice container. Pay attention to the guides in the juice container. This will prevent the foam from being poured out with the juice as you pour out the juice.

Disassembly

  1. Open the lock.
  2. Remove the transparent cover.
  3. Remove the pulp container.

  • Do not allow the pomace to dry on the centrifuge sieve. The fine pores will clog and become unusable.

Wipe the base unit with a slightly damp cloth.

  • Clean these components in warm rinsing water with a little washing-up liquid.
  • Rinse with clear water.
  • Do not assemble the appliance until all parts have dried.

Remove residues in the centrifuge sieve immediately under running water. Help with a dishwashing brush.

Storage

  • Clean the appliance as described. Allow the accessories to dry completely.
  • We recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
    • Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
