General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the device must not be used.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by qualified person and with a cable of the same type.
- Use only original spare parts.
- Pay careful attention to the following “Special Safety Instructions”.

- In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
WARNING!
Don't let small children play with foils for danger of suffocation!
- This device is not intended to be used by individuals (including children) who have restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities and/or insufficient knowledge and/or experience, unless they are supervised by an individual who is responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the device.
- Children should be supervised at all times in order to ensure that they do not play with the device.

Before changing the attachments, the appliance must be disconnected from the mains!
Intended Use
This appliance is designed for the juicing of citrus fruit.
It is intended for domestic use and use of similar areas. It may only be used in the manner described in this instruction manual. The appliance may not be used for commercial purposes.
Any other use is considered as not intended and may lead to damage of property or even to personal injury.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage which may occur through incorrect use.

Unpacking the appliance
• Take the device out of its packaging.
- Remove all of the packaging materials such as foils, filling material, cable holders and cardboard packaging.
- Check the scope of delivery.
i NOTE:
- There may still be dust or production residues on the device. Before initial use, clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”.
- The cover (2) protects the transparent lid in the packaging during transportation. It plays no role in the use of the appliance.
Assembling the Appliance
- Push the motor shaft onto the axle until it locks into place.
- Put the juice holder into the motor housing.
- Put the filter onto the juice holder.
- Fit the juicing cone.
Using the Machine
- Place the device on a firm and flat surface. Position it such that it cannot tilt over.
- Insert the plug in a duly installed 220-240 V\~, 50 Hz protective contact socket.
- Place a glass (vessel) under the spout of the juice container.
- Press the spout downwards in order to open the outlet aperture (Fig. A).
- Halve the citrus fruit in the middle. Hold the lemon squeezer with one hand while pressing the fruit halve on the press cone with the other.
i NOTE:
- The machine starts turning automatically.
- Do not press too hard on the fruit halves. The motor stops if too much pressure is applied. If you release the pressure it will restart immediately.

The juice flows into the glass (vessel). Fruit flesh and pips remain in the filter screen.

Before removing the glass (vessel) press the spout upwards in order to seal the outlet of the juice container and prevent dripping (F

i NOTE:
- Citrus fruit juices should be stored in a cool place for not more than one day.
i NOTE:
- Never store such juices in metal containers. The acid in the juice attacks the metal surface. Metal ions form which spoil the taste of the juice.
Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always disconnect from the mains before cleaning.
- Never immerse the motor housing in water. This can lead to electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use wire brushes or other abrasive implements.
- Do not use caustic or scouring agents.
• Always clean the juicer after use.
Motor housing
- To clean the outside of the housing use only a damp dishcloth with a little washing up liquid.
Detachable accessories
- The motor shaft can be detached from the axle for cleaning.
- Components which come into contact with food can be cleaned in soapy water.
- You can also clean accessories in a dishwasher. Make sure that you do not use too much detergent (Detergent, salt and rinse aid).
- Allow the parts to dry well before reassembling the appliance.
Storage
- Put the transparent lid onto the appliance. This protects the components against dust.
- We recommend that you keep the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for long periods.
• Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
Troubleshooting
The appliance does not work
Possible cause:
The appliance has no power supply.
Action:
- Check the socket with another appliance.
- Plug in the mains plug correctly.
- Check the main circuit breaker.
Possible cause:
The appliance is defective.
Action:
- Contact our service centre or a specialist.
