Read the instruction manual and the separately enclosed safety instructions very carefully before using this appliance. Keep these documents, including the warranty certificate, receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner packaging in a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, always include all the relevant documents.

Intended Use
This appliance is used to puree or blend food and drinks. For example, it is very suitable for preparing mayonnaise, dips, sauces, soups, baby food and milkshakes.
It can also be used in hot dishes.
The appliance is intended for processing household quantities.
The appliance is intended for use in household and similar applications. It may only be used in the manner described in these operating instructions. You must not use the appliance for commercial purposes.
Any other use is considered improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
- Check the scope of delivery for completeness.

If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.

There may still be dust or production residues on the appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance

WARNING: Risk of Injury!
- The blades of the knives are sharp! Handle the knives with the necessary care!
- The motor continues to run after switching off. Always wait for the blades to come to a standstill.

Ensure that the motor housing does not get wet. Switching on a wet motor can lead to an electric shock or short circuit.
-
If you use the appliance in hot food, there is a risk of burns from hot splashes!
- Immerse the blending rod in the food before switching on the appliance. This will prevent splashes.
- Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces (e. g. hot pots)!
Notes for Use
- Before pureeing, chop larger pieces of solid food (max. ∅ 1.5 cm) and add some liquid.
- If the maximum speed is too slow, interrupt the process. Reduce the amount of food to be blended. Loosen up solid food.
- Short-time operation: Do not use the appliance for longer than 1 minute at a time. Allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 5 minutes before using it again.

Assembly / Disassembly

WARNING: Risk of Injury!
There is a risk of trapping your fingers during assembly.
Be particularly careful!
Also refer to the illustration on page 3. Assemble the motor housing and the blending rod as follows:

2 1 1- Press and hold both buttons (7) at the same time.
- Place the motor housing (6) on the blending rod (8) until it clicks into place. Note the recesses on the mixing rod.
- Release the buttons. The motor housing and the blending rod are firmly attached to each other.
To remove, pull the blending rod off the motor housing while holding down the two buttons.
Electrical Connection
- Check that the mains voltage you want to use matches that of the appliance. You will find the relevant information on the rating plate.
- Connect the mains cable to a correctly installed earthed socket.
Operation
-
Place a container with the food to be mixed on a level work surface.
-
Hold the handle with one hand in such a way that you can press the push button (1).
- With the other hand you can adjust the speed with the controller (2).
-
Immerse the entire blender head in the foodstuff or beverage. Hold the appliance vertically. This way you avoid splashes.
-
The appliance switches off when you release the push button.
-
Pulse mode is achieved by pressing and releasing the button (T) at intervals. This immediately reaches the highest speed level.

Move the appliance slightly up and down.
- Always switch off the appliance before removing it from the food to be mixed.
Ending Operation
- Release the push button. Wait for the blades to come to a standstill.
- Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Recipe Suggestions
Mayonnaise
Ingredients:
1 fresh raw egg yolk, room temperature
1 tablespoon of medium-hot mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
200 ml oil
Preparation:
- Place the ingredients (except the oil) in a tall, narrow container in the order listed.
- Place the hand blender vertically in the container and start the blending process with the push button.
- Gradually add the oil. Slowly raise and lower the hand blender until the mayonnaise is ready.
Potato Soup (4 Portions)
Ingredients:
750 g floury potatoes
50 g each of leek and celery
1 carrot
2 medium-sized onions
2 tablespoons butter
1 litre vegetable stock (instant)
Salt
Ground black pepper
Fresh marjoram to taste
Fresh thyme to taste
2 tablespoons crème fraîche
Preparation:
- Peel and dice the potatoes, place in a bowl, cover with water and set aside.
- Peel and quarter the onions. Clean and wash the leek and cut only the white parts into rings. Clean, wash and dice the celery and carrot.
- Roughly chop the vegetables with a hand blender.

Put the butter in a saucepan, sauté the vegetables in it and add the vegetable stock.

Add the diced potatoes to the stock, cover and simmer over a low heat for about 20 minutes.
- Season to taste.
- Puree the soup briefly with a hand blender.
- Fold in the crème fraîche.
Potato Pancakes (approx. 12 Pieces)
Ingredients:
400 g floury potatoes, peeled and diced
1 small chopped onion
1 fresh egg
Salt
Pepper
Grated nutmeg
Fat for frying
Preparation:
- Place the potato cubes and onion in a bowl, add the egg and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Puree everything well with a hand blender. Tip: If the potato mixture is too watery, you can add 1 – 2 tablespoons of oat flakes or cornflour.
- Heat the fat to a high temperature, spread the potato mixture in small portions to form round patties and fry in the fat.
Cleaning

WARNING:
- Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning.
- Never immerse the motor housing in water for cleaning. It could cause an electric shock or fire.
- The blades of the blending rod are very sharp. Be especially careful.

CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
- To pre-clean the blending rod, fill a container with hot water and operate the blending rod as described under "Operation".
- The housing can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth.
- For thorough cleaning, separate the blending rod from the motor housing as described under “Assembly / Disassembly”.
Cleaning in Rinsing Water
You can clean the blending rod in warm rinsing water with a little washing-up liquid added. Then rinse with clear water.
Then dry the blending rod well.
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry completely.

You can hang the appliance on the hanging loop (1) after cleaning.

We recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
