3.2. Assembling the device
Before starting work, the device should be fixed to a worktop or workspace so that there is a stable and sufficient operating area for the work.
Operating the tool for certain operations will require exerting considerable force on the handle, thus it is essential that the tool be mounted to a heavy or immovable work bench or other work surface. Be certain there will be adequate clearance for the entire range of motion of the handle with no potential pinch points for the operator's hands.
- Spread some oil on the dies and roller before bending material to make the operation smoother.
3.3. Device use
- Insert the square tube into lower rollers, loosen screw (18), adjust the distance among stop collars (21), fix screw (18).
- Rotate lifter rod (12) to make upper roller (24) move down onto the square tube, rotate crank (3) through handle (1), the square tube moving among bracket (15).
- Continue to rotating lifter rod (12) and turning crank (3), bending the square tube to predetermined circular arc. If the square tube bends in a full circle, you should remove upper axle (29) and bolt (13) first, then take upper wheel set out, finally remove the material.
- The distance between two lower wheel set is different, the minimum. bending circle will also be different. The smaller the distance the smaller the bending circle.
- Do not roll a stock thicker than the roller's capacity.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
b) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
c) Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.
d) The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
e) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
f) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they may damage the surface material of the appliance.
g) Check for damaged parts. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding, breakage, and mounting or any other condition that may affect a tool's operation.
h) Any damaged part should be properly repaired or replaced. Do not perform makeshift repairs.
