Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then dry it well.

NOTE - SAFETY SWITCH-OFF

This appliance is fitted with a safety switch-off.

About 60 minutes after being switched on, the appliance will switch itself off automatically.

The safety switch-off is not an alternative to using the On/Off switch 6 manually! It is only for your safety, in the event that you forget to switch the appliance off!

Before styling

The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. Excepted from this are special products for protecting the hair from heat or for facilitating curling of the hair.
Comb the hair thoroughly before styling so that there are no knots in it.
Divide the hair into manageable portions and pin the upper portions to the head with grips so that they do not get in the way.

Operating the appliance

Plug the power plug into a mains socket.

To switch off the appliance, hold the On/Off button 6 pressed until one of the temperature LEDs 4 begins to flash. The appliance is set to 180^ at the factory.

When the appliance is switched on after previous use, it will heat up to the last activated temperature, and the corresponding temperature LED 4 will flash. Once the power plug has been pulled out, the last temperature setting is no longer remembered and the appliance will heat up to the factory default of 180^ the next time it is switched on.

Select the temperature by pressing the temperature setting button ⑤ -1+ repeatedly until the desired temperature is indicated by flashing of the associated temperature LED 4:

-Select a high temperature for thick and strong hair.

-Select a lower temperature for fine and thin hair.

If you are unsure, start with a lower temperature and increase the temperature until you find the ideal temperature for you.

The temperature LED 4 will flash while the appliance heats up. When the temperature LED 4 remains lit, the heating element 2 has finished heating. You can begin styling (see the section Styling curls).

HINWEIS - BUTTON LOCK

To disable the button lock, press and hold the temperature setting button ⑤ for about 2 seconds. The temperature is switched to the next setting and the button lock is now disabled. You can select other settings or switch off the appliance.

When you are finished styling your hair, press and hold the temperature setting button 5 to disable the button lock.

Then press and hold the On/Off button until the temperature LED goes out.

Remove the power plug from the socket.
