The Hot Air Brush Professional is intended exclusively for the drying and styling of real, own, human head hair.

The device is designed for private home use and must not be used for commercial purposes.

Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

  • If you use the Hot Air Brush in a bathroom, always pull out the mains plug afterwards. The proximity of water represents a hazard even when the device is switched off.

5. Operation

NOTE: before using it for the first time, switch the device on for a few minutes and allow it to run at the highest speed and highest temperature setting. As a result of the manufacturing process, you may notice a slight odour. This is normal and only occurs during first use. Ensure that the room is well ventilated.

Ionisation function

This device has an ionisation function that permanently applies ions to the hair to reduce the static charge of the hair and improve hair styleability.

5.1 Switching on/off and controlling air flow

  1. Connect the mains plug 1 with an easily accessible wall socket. The wall socket must still be easily accessible after connection.
  2. Using the on/off switch 5 and the switch for the speed settings, you can switch the device on and select the desired speed for the air flow:

0 = off

I = slow air flow, lower temperature

II = fast air flow, higher temperature

  1. After drying/ styling, switch the on/off switch 5 to 0 (off) and pull out the mains plug.

5.2 Cooling function

In order to improve the durability of your sections of hair, you can cool the hair after it has been styled with hot air using the button 6 ✪.

Keep the button 6 ✦ pressed during drying in order to get a cool air flow, irrespective of the starting temperature.

When you no longer require the cool air flow, release the button 6 ✦.

5.3 Styling

The styling brushes allow targeted styling of certain sections of hair.

  • Using the semi-round brush 12 you can brush the hair during drying, but also shaping your hair in gentle waves and achieve more volume at the hairline.
  • The round brush 9 with heat-storing aluminium body and nylon bristles is suitable for shaping curls/ waves and gives the hair more volume.

  • To form curls/ waves, rotate a strand of hair from the tip upwards around the round brush.

  • Switch the device on and select the power stage required.

5.4 Changing the styling brushes

Mounting the styling brush

  1. Figure A: place the styling brush on the air outlet such that the left mark 13 points to the release button ▲ 11.

  2. Then turn the styling brush towards the right mark 🔒 14 until you hear the styling brush click into place.

Remove the styling brush

  1. Figure B: press the release button ▲ 11 and turn the styling brush to the left mark 🔒 3.

  2. Remove the styling brush.

6. Cleaning

DANGER!

  • Pull out the mains plug 1 from the wall socket before cleaning the Hot Air Brush.
  • Allow all accessories to cool down before removing them from the device.

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

- Do not clean using sharp objects or abrasive cleaning agents.

Clean the device regularly. Particularly ensure that the air inlet 4 and the air outlet 10 are free of dust, hair and fluff.

  • Wipe down the casing, the protective grid over the air inlet 4, and the styling brushes using a lightly moistened cloth.
  • Remove the styling brushes from the Hot Air Brush. Hold the Hot Air Brush with the air outlet 10 pointing downwards. Clean the air outlet grille with a brush.

7. Storage

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

- Do not wrap the cable around the device (risk of cable damage!).

- You can use the hanging loop 2 to safely and practically hang up the device for storage purposes.

8. Disposal

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EC. The symbol showing a wheelie bin crossed through indicates that the product requires separate refuse collection in the European Union. This applies to the product and all accessories marked with this symbol. Products identified with this symbol may not be discarded with normal household waste, but must be taken to a collection point for recycling electric and electronic appliances.

your device is provided with a 3 year warranty starting with the purchase date. In the event of product defects, you are entitled to statutory rights against the vendor. These statutory rights are not restricted by our warranty presented in the following.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts with the purchase date. Please keep the original purchase receipt in a safe place. This document is required to verify the purchase.

If within three years from the purchase date of this product a material or factory defect occurs, the product will be repaired or replaced by us – at our discretion – free of charge to you, or the purchase price will be refunded. This warranty implies that within the period of three years the defective device and the purchase receipt are presented, including a brief written description of the defect and the time it occurred.

If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired or a new product will be returned to you. No new warranty period starts with a repair or replacement of the product.
