- Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high-quality product. The assembly instructions and instructions for use are a part of the product. Please carefully read these assembly instructions and instructions for use before use and observe all instructions. These instructions contain important information about installation, settings and care. Please keep these assembly instructions and instructions for use and pass them on to any future owner.

Intendeduse

This product is only intended to control the water supply. This product is suitable for all pressure-resistant water systems such as central heating, continuous-flow water heater, pressure boiler, etc. This product is not suitable for low pressure water heaters or pressure-free small storage reservoirs, e.g. wood- or coal-burning domestic hot water heaters, oil or gas-fired hot water heaters, or open electrically heated cylinders. When in doubt please consult a plumber or heating specialist. Any other use or product modification is prohibited and will result in damage. Any other use is considered improper and harbours significant accident risks or risks of property damage. This product is solely intended for private use.

Safety notes

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation. Keep this product out of the reach of children. This product is not a toy.

This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lacking experience and knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

BEWARE OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Before drilling, ensure that there are no electrical cables where you intend

to drill.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

Make sure that all parts are undamaged and correctly assembled. Im-

proper assembly may result in injury. Please note that the seals are wear parts and must be changed from time to time. Damaged parts could impact safety and function.

- Installation must only be performed by skilled persons.

■ CAUTION! DANGER OF SCALDING!

When adjusting the temperature of hot water, be sure not to set the water temperature too high.

■ CAUTION! WATER DAMAGE! Shut off the main water supply prior to installation.

■ Ensure that all the seals are positioned correctly.

This product is not suitable for use with low-pressure tanks and open (non-pressurised) electrical storage heaters.

- Incorrectly installed shower sets can cause water damage!

- Any leakage or sudden escape of water can cause considerable damage to buildings and property. Therefore check carefully that all connections are watertight.

- Familiarise yourself with all local conditions prior to installation, e.g. water connection and shut-off device.

- Sharp edges can arise even with careful production. Therefore proceed with caution during installation.

Before attaching the product to the wall, check which mounting materials are suitable for your wall. We have supplied mounting materials suitable for an ordinary, solid masonry wall.

- Only use the product in rooms with temperatures above 0 °C. If there is a risk of frost, shut off the water supply and drain the product.

- Installation

Please familiarise yourself with the product prior to installation. Carefully read the following installation instructions and safety advice. Incorrect installation will void the warranty, particularly with respect to consequential damages.

■ CAUTION! Turn off the water supply at the mains before starting the installation. Otherwise there is a risk of injury and/or property damage.

Note: You will need an electric drill.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Before drilling, ensure that there are no electrical cables where you in-

tend to drill.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

Read the operating instructions included with your drill.

Note: Before installation, remove all packaging material from the product.

☐ First push the wall bracket 10 and then the hand-held shower head holder 16 and the second wall bracket 10 over the shower bar 1 from below (see Figures A to C).

☐ Remove the connector 10 together with the brass thread 14 from the diverter 5 (see Fig. D).

☐ Attach the brass thread 14 with the connector 15 to the bottom of the shower bar 1 by tightening it counterclockwise using the tool 6 (see Fig. E).

Attention: Left-hand thread!

☐ Twist the diverter 5 clockwise onto the brass thread 14 and when doing so make sure that the seal 9 is correctly positioned (see Fig. F).

☐ Adjust the spacing on the left and right between the two wall brackets 10 and the handheld shower head holder 16 on the shower bar 1, and use a slot-head screwdriver (not included) to tighten the screws on the shower bar 1 in order to attach the wall brackets 10 (see Figures G and H).

☐ Mark the drill holes using the holes in the installation plates 12 intended for the fixing screws 11 as a guide (approx. ∅ 6 mm).
☐ Now drill the mounting holes and then guide the wall plugs 13 into the drilled holes (see Fig. I).
□ Attach both installation plates 12 using the fixing screws 11.
☐ Hold the shower bar 1 with the installed wall brackets 10 at the height of the installation plates 12. Put the covering rosettes for the wall brackets 10 on the installation plates 12 and turn the covering rosettes clockwise to tighten (see Figures J and K). The diverter 5 must face downwards when you do this.
☐ Insert a hose seal 4 into the thread of the connection hose 7 and attach the connection hose 7 by twisting it clockwise onto the lower thread of the diverter 5 (see Figures L and M).
☐ Insert a hose seal 4 into the other end of the connection hose 7 and screw this tightly onto your water supply by hand.
☐ Insert a hose seal 4 into the nut of the shower hose 8 and attach this by twisting it clockwise onto the side thread of the diverter 5 (see Figures N and O).
☐ Attach a hose seal 4 to the other end of the shower hose 8. Then connect the handheld shower head 3 to the shower hose 8 by tightening it by hand in a clockwise direction (see Fig. P).
☐ Remove the protective cap from the thread of the ball joint and attach the overhead shower head 2 by twisting it clockwise onto the shower bar 1 (see Fig. P).

Use

☐ You can use the diverter 5 to switch between the overhead shower head 2 and the handheld shower head 3.
☐ The angle of the overhead shower head 2 can be adjusted by the user.
☐ You can choose between 3 jet settings for the handheld shower head 3:

• Rain jet
• Sauna jet
• Sauna + rain mixed jet

- Cleaning and care

• Never clean with petrol, solvents or aggressive cleaners or hard bristled brushes, etc. These could damage the product's surface.
  ■ Ensure the hoses do not come into contract with caustic or corrosive agents, such as cleaning agents or household detergents. This could result in water damage.
  ■ Never clean coloured surfaces with scouring or corrosive cleaners, or cleaners containing alcohol.
  □ Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth or chamois.

Failure to observe the above care advice can be expected to result in damage to the surfaces of the product. This will inevitably invalidate the warranty.

- Maintenance

■ Regularly check all connections and joints for leaks or visible damage.
If there are any leaks or visible damages to the shower set or hoses, these should be checked or replaced by a professional immediately.

- Disassembly

□ Shut off the water supply before disassembling the product.
□ Watch for residual water draining from the product.
☐ Disassemble the product in the reverse order specified in the installation instructions.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

The product incl. accessories and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility. Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

- Information

- Checking if tap water is drinkable

☐ Ask your local authorities whether the water in your town/municipality is drinkable.

In general, the following recommendations apply for the potability of tap water:

• Let the water run freely for a short time if it has been stagnating in the pipework for more than four hours. Do not use any of this stagnant water in the preparation of food or for drinking, particularly if this is being used to feed babies or infants. Health concerns may otherwise arise. Fresh water can be readily distinguished from stagnant water as fresh water is noticeably cooler as it leaves the pipe.
  Do not use stagnant water from chromium-plated pipework for the preparation of food or drink or for personal hygiene if you are allergic to nickel. This water may contain high quantities of nickel and trigger an allergic reaction.
  Do not use water from lead pipework for preparing baby food and/or to prepare foods during pregnancy. Lead dissolves in drinking water and is particularly damaging to the health of babies and young children.

● Warranty and service

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you

have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.

Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.

Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.

This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
