Read these instructions for use carefully and keep them for later use, be sure to make them accessible to other users and observe the information they contain.

WARNING

• The device is intended only for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
• This device can be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and are aware of the consequent risks of use.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
• If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it cannot be removed, the device must be disposed of.
• The device has a hot surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the device.
• Under no circumstances should you open or repair the device yourself, as faultless functionality can no longer be guaranteed thereafter. Failure to comply will invalidate the warranty.

1. Included in delivery

Check that the exterior of the delivery cardboard packaging is intact and make sure that all contents are present. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or accessories and that all packaging material has been removed. If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Service address.

3. Warnings and safety notes

Read these instructions for use carefully! Non-observance of the following information may result in personal injury or material damage. Store these instructions for use and make them accessible to other users. Make sure you include these instructions for use when handing over the device to third parties.

WARNING

Do not use the device

•onanimals
- if you suffer from a medical abnormality or injury in the area to be massaged (e.g. herniated disc, open wounds)
- under any circumstances for massages in the area around the heart if you wear a pacemaker – and consult your doctor regarding other parts of the body
• on swollen, burnt, inflamed or damaged skin and body parts of any kind
• on cuts, acne or other skin diseases
•duringpregnancy
- on the face (eyes), on the larynx or any other particularly sensitive body parts
- for foot massages
- whilesleeping
• after the consumption of medicines or alcohol (reduced cognition!)
- in vehicles

You should consult your doctor before using the device, especially

• if you suffer from a severe illness or have recently had surgery on your upper body
• if you have a pacemaker, implants or other aids
  • if you suffer from thrombosis
  • if you suffer from diabetes
• if you are suffering pain, the cause of which is unknown

WARNING

Keep packaging material away from children. There is the risk of suffocation.

Electric shock

WARNING

As with every electrical device, use this device carefully and cautiously, in order to avoid hazards due to electric shock.

Therefore:

• Use the device only with the mains part provided and at the mains voltage specified on the mains part
• Never use the device if it or its accessories show visible signs of damage
• Do not use the device during a thunderstorm

In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and disconnect it from the mains socket. Do not pull on the mains cable or on the device to disconnect the mains part from the socket. Never hold or carry the device by the mains cable. Keep the cables away from hot surfaces. Do not crush, bend or twist the cables. Do not insert needles or any sharp objects.

Ensure that the device, remote control, mains part and cable do not come into contact with water, steam or other liquids. Only use the device in dry rooms (e.g. never in the bath, sauna).

Never reach for a device that is submerged in water. Disconnect the mains plug immediately.

Do not use the device if it or its accessories are visibly damaged.

Do not drop the device or subject it to any impacts.

Repairs

WARNING

• Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject users to considerable danger. For repairs, please contact Customer Services or an authorised retailer.
• The zip fastening of the yoga & stretching mat must not be opened. It is only used for technical production reasons.

Risk of fire

WARNING

There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are ignored.

Therefore:

• Never use the device underneath a cover, such as a blanket or a pillow
• Never use the device near petrol or other highly flammable substances

Handling

IMPORTANT

The device must be switched off and disconnected after every use and before cleaning.

- Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

4. Intended use

This device is intended to stretch the human body.

The device is only intended for private use, and not for medical or commercial purposes. The device cannot replace medical treatment. Do not use the device if one or several of the following warnings applies to you. If you are unsure whether the device is suitable for you, please consult your doctor. The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use.

6. Initial use

1. Remove the packaging.
2. Open the hook-and-loop fastener on the yoga & stretching mat.
3. Lay the yoga & stretching mat flat on a level surface. Ensure that there is enough space to lie on the yoga & stretching mat comfortably.
4. Check the device, mains part and cable for damage.
5. Connect the supplied mains part with the connection socket on the yoga & stretching mat.
6. Plug the mains part into a suitable socket. Ensure that the mains cable does not pose a trip hazard. The yoga & stretching mat is now ready for use.

7. Use

1. Remove your shoes. Remove all jewellery. Wear comfortable clothing.
2. Lie on your back on the yoga & stretching mat. Ensure that your head is lying comfortably on the head support and your buttocks are lying as close as possible to the raised grey area at the bottom. Should the current lying position be uncomfortable, change your position until you are lying comfortably.

1. To now turn on the yoga & stretching mat, press the ON/OFF button ⏻ on the remote control.
2. Select the desired programme on the remote control. The yoga & stretching mat has 4 different programmes to choose from. All 4 programmes are 15 minutes long. The yoga & stretching mat switches off automatically once the 15 minutes have elapsed.

	This programme is particularly suitable for the hips, lumbar area and shoulders. With gentle rotating movements, possible tension in the hip, lumbar or shoulder areas can be relieved.
recovery	This programme helps you to relax and recharge.
	This programme was designed to gently stretch your spine along its full length. As a result you will feel more flexible and balanced, just like after a yoga session.
	This programme deeply relaxes your entire body and helps you to switch off from an often stressful daily routine.

1. Select the desired intensity with the ▲ and ▼ buttons. The device has a total of 3 intensity levels. We recommend that you start by using the lowest intensity level. The device automatically starts on the medium intensity level. Carefully check that the use of the device is pleasant for you. Use of the device should feel pleasant and relaxing at all times. If use of the device is painful or uncomfortable, stop using the device or change your lying position.

2. The yoga & stretching mat offers the option of adding additional warmth or vibration to the programmes, to make use of the device more pleasant. To switch on the heat, press the heat button on the remote control. To switch on the vibration function, press the vibration button on the remote control. Press the relevant button again to switch off the heat/vibration function.

You can pause use of the device at any time with the pause button. Press the pause button again to continue using the device.

1. If you would like to end the selected programme before the 15-minute programme duration has elapsed, press the ON/OFF button ⏻The device is now switched off.

2. After every use, take the mains part out of the socket.

8. Tips for optimum relaxation

- When stretching, try to let yourself lie back and relax, in order to enjoy using the device without exertion.

- Breathe slowly and deeply through the nose and try to find an even breathing rhythm.

- On programmes that use rotating movements, you can gently move your head or body in line with the movement.

- At the beginning, gently get your body used to the stretching movements. When you are familiar with the use of the device and are comfortable with the treatment, you can repeat the treatment as often as you like.

9. Cleaning and maintenance

Cleaning

WARNING

• Always unplug the mains part from the socket and disconnect it from the device before carrying out any cleaning.
• Clean the device using only the methods specified. Under no circumstances may liquid enter the device or the accessories.
• Small marks can be removed using a cloth or damp sponge, and some liquid delicate laundry detergent where necessary. Do not use any solvent-based cleaning products.
• Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.

Storage

If you do not plan to use the device for a long period of time, we recommend that you store it in the original packing in a dry environment, ensuring it is not weighed down by additional items.

10. What if there are problems?

11. Disposal

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
