WARRANTY

By purchasing a BE COOL quality product you have acquired an innovative, long lasting and reliable item.

For this BE COOL device we grant a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase, valid in Austria only.

In the unlikely event that service work is required on your device in this period we warrant free repair (spare parts and labour) or (subject to Schuss's decision) to replace the product. In the event that neither repair nor exchange make sense from an economical perspective we reserve the right to issue a credit based on current value. When dealing with air conditioning devices you should always contact the customer hotline first (see label on the device or the title page of the instruction manual), in case of fans contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair not performed by the authorised workshop in Austria immediately renders this warranty void.

This warranty does not include:

• Repair of replacement of parts due to normal wear
• Damage due to non-compliance with the instruction manual
• Devices that are used commercially – even in part
• Devices damaged by external forces (falling, impact, cracking, improper use etc.) as well as aesthetic wear
• Devices that have been used improperly
• Devices that were not opened by our authorised workshop.
• Unfulfilled customer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning and overvoltage.
• Devices on which type denomination and/or serial number on the device have been erased, rendered illegible or removed.
• Service work not performed by our authorised workshops, transport costs to an authorised workshop or us and back as well as associated risks.

Please note that within the warranty period we charge a flat rate of 60 € (indexed as per consumer price index 2010, June 2015) in case of operating errors or if no fault can be found.

The total warranty period of 2 years is not extended if warranty service is performed (repair or device replacement).

The 2 year warranty is only valid if the original invoice (must contain name and address of the dealer as well as full device name) and the respective warranty certificate are produced, on which the device type and serial number (can be found on the box and the device's rear or bottom) are to be noted! Only the statutory warranty coverage applies if the warranty certificate cannot be produced!

Please note that the statutory warranty coverage is not altered by this warranty and that it applies in full regardless.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents are only liable for damages in case of gross negligence or intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but not incurred savings, consequential damages and damages from third party claims is excluded in any case. Damages to or for recorded data are always excluded from the liability for damages.

1. Use this device exclusively in accordance with the guidelines in the instruction manual. Any use other than that recommended by the manufacturer, may result in fire, electrical shock or injury to persons.
2. Remove the packaging and ensure the device is not damaged. In case of any doubt do not use the device and contact the service point or your dealer.
3. Keep children away from packaging materials. There is a risk of choking if swallowed!
4. If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service point, in order to avoid all potential risks.
5. Check whether current type and grid voltage match the specifications on the device's type plate before plugging the device in.
6. The electrical plug socket, into which the device is connected, must not be defective or loose, must be suitable for the required current load and, above all, must be properly earthed.
7. Avoid the use of an extension cable, as this may overheat and cause a fire.
8. It is strictly forbidden to modify the properties of this device in any form or manner and you must only use replacement parts or accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will invalidate the warranty and guarantee).

1. If the device has a defect, switch it off and contact your dealer or the customer hotline.
2. For any possible repairs to the device and the mains plug or power cable you must always refer exclusively to the customer service points recommended by the manufacturer. You can view our customer service points online at www.becool.at.
3. Children under the age of 8 and persons with limited physical, psychological, sensory or mental abilities and lack of experience and knowledge may only use this device under appropriate supervision and if comprehensively briefed on the safe use of the device and the associated hazards.
4. Do not use the device without supervision. Always switch the device off when leaving the room.
5. Children must not be allowed to play with the device.
6. Do not twist or kink the power cable.
7. Do not use the device with wet hands.
8. Do not use the device outdoors.
9. Never use the device in rooms in which gas, oil or sulphur are present.
10. Do not use the device in the proximity of water or strong moisture, e.g. in damp cellars, close to pools, bathtubs or showers. Make sure no water can enter the device.

7. Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid electrical shocks.
8. Pull the plug if you are not using the device, if you want to clean it, if it has to be serviced or if it is moved from one location to another.
9. Keep the device in good shape by cleaning and maintaining it. If you have any questions regarding maintenance you can contact the manufacturer's authorised customer hotline / service point.
10. Keep and store the device at a safe and dry place out of reach for children when you are not using it.

Therefore, do not dispose of this in unsorted residual waste, but at a designated collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment. Technical information

If the fan will be stored for a long period and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place. When you use it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure the fan is clean and the motor blades turn freely (with the device not powered) without any restraint.

Instructions for use

1. Insert the main holder (13) into the main body (17), and tight up by the holder fixed screw (15).
2. Insert the 5pcs wheels (19) into the base (18), and tighten up by the base lock nut (20).
3. Put the rear grill (7) on the motor shaft (8), and tighten up by the grill lock nut (6) to the motor cover (9) Insert the blades (5) on the motor shaft (8), and tighten up by the blade lock nut (4).
4. Fixed the misting board (1) on the front grill (2), and tight up by misting board lock screws (3).
5. Connection the front grill (2) and back grill (7) by grill ring (10), and tighten up by grill lock nut and tight up.
6. Insert the misting tube (21), connection to the misting board (1)

Fill the water tank:

Unscrew the valve-cover to open the tank turning it anticlockwise, fill the tank with cold and clean water, making sure not to overfill it. To close the tank, screw the valve cover back on securely turning it clockwise. Turn the tank over and place it back into its designated space at the back of the fan main body.

- Make sure the product is unplugged from the power outlet before filling or refelling the water tank.

• Only use water in the water tank. Do not add any chemicals, oils or other additives.
• Only use cold or lukewarm water in the water tank. The water must not be warmer than 40^ C.

Place the fan on a dry and stable surface and insert the plug on the socket; the unit will emit a short “PEEP” sound indicating that power is supplied. For your convenience the unit can be operated by using control panel in the main body or by using remote control included.

Preparing the remote control - Inserting or replacing the battery

Please observe the following instructions:

Initial operation:

For initial operation of the remote control, please pull out the plastic protector from the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.

Changing the battery:

Pull out the battery holder on the back of the remote control and remove the old battery from the holder:

Now insert a new CR2025 battery, always paying attention to the polarity markings (+/-) on the battery and the battery holder.

Then push the battery holder fully back into the remote control.

ON/OFF Button (1):

• Press the button (1), to select the power on or power off.
• Indicator light will be light up when it power on, and light off when itmis power off.

MIST Button (2):

• Press the button (1), to select the power on.
• Press the button (2), to select the speed of misting. There's 3 speeds (Low - Mid -High)

Noted: This program can be worked independence or work with other programs together.

TIMER Button (3):

• When the unit is operating, you can set the timer to switch the fan off automatically.
• Timer can be setting from 1 Hour - 12 Hours, indicator light up in the control panel
  • The units will be power off automatically, after the setting time over.

MOSQUITO Button (4):

• Put the mosquito tablet into the tablet box.
• Press the button, indicator light up on the control panel.
• Press again, the indicator light off, and function stop.

• Press the oscillation button to activate the automatic oscillation from right to left. The related indicator light will light up in the control panel.
• Press again the oscillation button to deactivate the automatic oscillation; the indicator light will off on the control panel

MODE Button (6):

• When the unit is operating in fan function, it can be selected the working mode.
• Mode: Sleep or Nature, indicator light up by different pattern.
  • Mode indicator light off, the fan working mode will turn into normal.
• Noted: The fan speed is setting by fixed program when the unit is selected in Sleep or Nature.

SPEED Button (7):

• When the unit is operating in fan function (Not in Mode: Sleep or Nature), it can be selected the fan speed.
• There's 3 speeds for select (LOW - MID -HIGH), indicator light up by strip lights.

IONIZER Button (8):

• Press the button (1), to select the power on.
• Press the button (8), to select the ionizer, indicator light up in the control panel.
• This program can be worked independence or work with other programs together

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTED:

Before cleaning the appliance always disconnect the power plug from the receptacle.

1. DO NOT dip the device in water, or splash it with any other liquids.
2. DO NOT use solvents or any other chemical products for cleaning it. When you do not use it, after cleaning it, store the fan in a dry place.
3. When you have finished using the fan at the end of the season, wipe off any dust to maintain it in good working order for the next season; if necessary disassemble the grille and remove the fan; clean them with a soft damp cloth.
4. Remove the water tank and clean it with lukewarm water; before replace the water tank in the unit make sure it is completely dry. Draining the water out of the unit placing a container underneath the water drain (indicated with an arrow in below picture) and let any water remaining in the water reservoir drain out.

WARRANTY

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision for innovation, durability and reliability.

For this BECOOL appliance we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase valid in Austria!

If, contrary to expectations, service work on your device should nevertheless be necessary during this period, we hereby guarantee you a free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at Schuss's discretion) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a time value credit note.

In the case of air conditioners, please always contact the customer hotline as a first step (see sticker on the appliance or the front page of the operating instructions); in the case of fans, please contact your specialist dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized workshop in Austria will immediately invalidate this warranty.

This guarantee does not cover

• We do not accept any liability for consequential damage in the event of improper use
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to non-compliance with the operating instructions
• Devices that are used - even partially - for commercial purposes
• devices mechanically damaged by external influences (fall, impact, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly inserted water tanks.
• Unfulfilled consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, overvoltage.
• Devices where the type designation and/or serial number on the device has been changed, deleted, made illegible or removed.
• services outside our authorized workshops, the transport costs to an authorized workshop or to us and back, as well as the associated risks.

We would like to emphasize that within the warranty period, a lump sum of € 60,- (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged for operating errors or if no error is detected.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year guarantee is only valid on presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the full name of the appliance) and the corresponding guarantee certificate, on which the appliance type and the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the appliance) must be noted! Without the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and remain unaffected.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages and damages from third party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
