How do I assemble the fan?

First, attach the lower stand tube to the base using four screws. Then, screw the upper stand tube into the lower tube by turning clockwise. Next, remove the spinner lock nut and guard lock nut from the motor shaft. Fit the rear guard onto the motor shaft, securing it with the guard lock nut. Push the fan blade onto the shaft, matching slots with the shaft pin, and tighten the spinner lock nut counterclockwise. Finally, attach the front guard by clipping it onto the rear guard and tightening the clip screw.

How do I clean the fan?

Turn off and unplug the fan. Use a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water to wipe the surface. Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or immerse the fan in water. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling or storing.

How do I use the remote control?

Slide off the battery cover on the remote, insert two 1.5V AAA batteries (included) observing polarity, then replace the cover. Point the remote at the fan and press the desired button: ON/OFF, speed (I/II/III), mode (Normal/Natural/Sleep), timer, or oscillation.

What do the different modes do?

Normal runs at constant speed. Natural simulates a natural breeze by varying fan speed up and down. Sleep gradually reduces speed: after 30 minutes it drops one level, after another 30 minutes it drops again, then runs at the lowest speed until turned off or timer expires.

How does the timer work?

Press the timer button repeatedly to set the operating time from 1 to 7 hours. Each press adds one hour. The LED display shows the set time: 1H, 2H, combinations (e.g., 1H+2H=3H), up to 7H. The fan will automatically shut off after the set time.

How do I adjust the oscillation?

Press the oscillation button on the remote or control panel. The fan head will swing left and right to distribute air horizontally. Press again to stop oscillation.

Why is my fan not working?

Check that the power plug is fully inserted into a working outlet (220-240V). Ensure the fan is turned on. If the blades don’t turn, verify that the blade is properly mounted and not touching the guards. If unusual noises occur, inspect for blade damage or guard deformation.

Can I use the fan outdoors?

No, this fan is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to water, moisture, or outdoor conditions. Use in a dry, well-ventilated room on a stable surface.

How should I store the fan when not in use?

Clean and dry all parts thoroughly. Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets. Disconnect the power cord and coil it loosely. Avoid placing objects on top of the fan.

PART DESIGNATIONS

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Assembly of the base and lower stand tube

Insert the lower stand tube into the base hole, and keep the bulge of stand tube alignment with space of base hole, then use the four screws to tighten the tube to the base.

Assembly of the upper stand tube

Insert the upper stand tube into the lower stand tube and tight the thread by turning it clockwise.

Assembly of the fanhead

1. Remove the spinner lock nut and guard lock nut from the motor shaft.
2. Fit the rear guard, by the positioning on the location shaft pins. Secure the guard to the motor body with the guard lock nut.
3. Push the fan blade onto the motor shaft by matching the slots on the base of the blade with the shaft pin. Secure the blade with the spinner lock nut. The spinner lock nut must be tightened by turning it in a counter-clockwise direction. Check that the fan blade rotates freely by turning with your hand.
4. Open the securing clip at the bottom of the front guard and loosen the clip screw. Position the top clip on the uppermost part of the rear guard. Push the top clip down and press the rim of the front guard onto the rear guard. Close the bottom clip and tighten the screw.

START UP

1. Place the device on a flat and dry surface (no use in wet rooms).
2. Plug the plug into a standard 220 \~ 240V outlet.
3. The functions of the fan can be adjusted both by means of the remote control and directly on the device with the buttons of the control panel.

Commissioning the remote control

Please note the following instructions:

1. Push the cover off the back of the remote control to remove it.
2. Now insert the two supplied 1.5 V batteries of type R03 "AAA" (To insert the batteries correctly, observe the instructions on the inside of the battery compartment).
3. Put the cover back onto the remote control.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

• Caution! Let the device come to a full stop before disconnect it from the outlet.
• Use a soft cloth to clean the device.
• If dirt and contamination should not come off easily, you may use warm soapy water.
• Do not use solvents and scrubbing agents (thinners), metal cutlery or stiff brushes since these may damage the plastic housing.
• Do not immerse the fan in water or other liquids. Water must not drop onto or into the fan's motor housing.
• Dry all components thoroughly before storing them.
• Store the device in a cool, dry and clean environment.
• Store the device out of reach for children and animals.

WARRANTY

By purchasing a BECOOL quality product you have acquired an innovative, long lasting and reliable item.

For this BECOOL device we grant a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase, valid in Austria only.

In the unlikely event that service work is required on your device in this period we warrant free repair (spare parts and labour) or (subject to Schuss's decision) to replace the product. In the event that neither repair nor exchange make sense from an economical perspective we reserve the right to issue a credit based on current value.

When dealing with air conditioning devices you should always contact the customer hotline first (see label on the device or the title page of the instruction manual), in case of fans contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair not performed by the authorised workshop in Austria immediately renders this warranty void.

This warranty does not include:

• Repair of replacement of parts due to normal wear
- Damage due to non-compliance with the instruction manual
• Devices that are used commercially – even in part
• Devices damaged by external forces (falling, impact, cracking, improper use etc.) as well as aesthetic wear
• Devices that have been used improperly
• Devices that were not opened by our authorised workshop.
- Damages caused by improperly closed condensation drains on air conditioning devices or improperly inserted water container.
- Unfulfilled customer expectations.
- Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning and overvoltage.
- Devices on which type denomination and/or serial number on the device have been erased, rendered illegible or removed.
- Service work not performed by our authorised workshops, transport costs to an authorised workshop or us and back as well as associated risks.

Please note that within the warranty period we charge a flat rate of 60 € (indexed as per consumer price index 2010, June 2015) in case of operating errors or if no fault can be found.

The total warranty period of 2 years is not extended if warranty service is performed (repair or device replacement).

The 2 year warranty is only valid if the original invoice (must contain name and address of the dealer as well as full device name) and the respective warranty certificate are produced, on which the device type and serial number (can be found on the box and the device's rear or bottom) are to be noted! Only the statutory warranty coverage applies if the warranty certificate cannot be produced!

Please note that the statutory warranty coverage is not altered by this warranty and that it applies in full regardless.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents are only liable for damages in case of gross negligence or intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but not incurred savings, consequential damages and damages from third party claims is excluded in any case.
