How do I assemble the BC31ST2005SSF fan?

Insert the support pole into the base, aligning the groove and bulge, then secure with the M8 screw. Push the fan head onto the pole until you hear a click. Connect the adapter to the base.

How do I use the remote control?

Remove the battery holder from the remote control, insert the coin battery (CR2032) with correct polarity (+/-), and aim the remote directly at the fan. The remote controls all functions: power, speed, mode, oscillation, and timer.

What are the different wind modes?

The fan offers Constant Wind (3 speeds) and Natural Wind modes: Sleeping Wind (low speed, low noise), Forest Wind Low (gradually varying speed), and Forest Wind High (stronger variations).

How do I set the oscillation?

Press the Swing Angle button repeatedly: once for 30° horizontal, twice for 60°, three times for 360° continuous rotation, and a fourth time to stop. Vertical adjustment is manual, with a range of -5° to 90°.

How do I set the timer?

Press the Timing button repeatedly to set the auto-off time from 1 to 7 hours, in 1-hour increments. The display shows the selected time.

How do I clean the fan?

Unplug the fan and wait for it to stop. Disassemble the front cover (loosen screw, rotate clockwise), remove fan blade, rear cover and plate. Clean each part with a dry soft cloth or mild soapy water. Do not use solvents or let water into the motor. Dry thoroughly before reassembling.

What should I do if the fan does not start?

Check the power supply (adapter plugged in). Ensure the remote control battery is inserted correctly (polarity) and not empty. If still not functioning, contact customer service.

Can I use the fan outdoors?

No, the fan is designed for indoor use only. Do not use in wet rooms, near pools, bathtubs, or showers. Avoid exposure to water or strong moisture.

What safety precautions should I follow?

MONTAGE

Assembly of the base and poleInsert the support pole into the base vertically and make sure the groove oft he support pole (a) and the bulge of (b) of the base fit perfectly.Then screw up the base and pole with the M8 screw.
Assembly of the fanPush the fan into the support pole. When installing please aim the lock (c) at the clamp groove (d). The installation is finished once you hear a click

Connect the adaptorConnect the adaptor with the bottom interface oft he base.

START UP

1. Place the device on a flat and dry surface (no use in wet rooms).

2. Plug the power adapter into a standard 220 \~ 240V outlet.

3. After you plug the fan, it will make a sound and all the indicator lights will flash once. This signalizes that the device is ready to be used.

4. The functions of the fan can be adjusted both with the remote control and directly on the device with the buttons of the control panel.

5. To operate the remote control, pull out the battery holder from the remote control and insert the battery.

6. Please always pay attention on the polarity markings (+/-) on the battery and the battery compartment.

7. While operating with the remote control, always aim it directly at the device to ensure proper operation.

CONSTANT WIND → Set the speed:

The fan has three different speed levels. To set the desired level, please proceed as follows:

- Push the „CONSTANT WIND“ – buttons, until the desired icon lights up on the display:

→ Low speed level

→ Medium speed level

→ High speed level

NATURAL WIND → Set the mode:

The fan has three different modes you can choose from:

- Use the „NATURAL WIND“- buttons, until the desired icon lights up on the display:

	Sleeping WindThe fan works in low speed and low noise, which is good for sleeping.
	Forest Wind (Low)The wind the fan delivers is gradually varied, from lower speed to higher speed, then from higher speed to lower speed.
	Forest Wind (High)The wind the fan delivers is also gradually varied, from lower speed to higher speed, then from higher speed to lower speed.

SWING ANGLE → Set the oscillation:

The fan has both vertical and horizontal oscillation:

- HORIZONTAL OSCILLATION: Please use the „SWING ANGLE“- buttons to set the following angles:

30°	Push the „SWING ANGLE“- buttonONE TIMEto swing the fan head from side to side for 30°.
60°	Push the „SWING ANGLE“- buttonTWO TIMESto swing the fan head from side to side for 60°.
360°	Push the „SWING ANGLE“- buttonTHREE TIMESto rotate the fan head for 360° indefinitely.

• Push a FORTH TIME to stop the oscillation.
• VERTICAL OSCILLATION: You can adjust the fan manually at any angle from the bottom to the top between -5° and 90°.

TIMING → Set the timer:

This function allows you to turn off the device on a scheduled basis. You can choose between 1 to 7 hours.

• Push the „TIMING“- buttons repeatedly until the desired time appears on the display.
• With every push the operating time is gradually increased by one hour – please pay attention to the display while you set it:

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Caution! Allow the unit to come to a complete stop before cleaning and disconnect it from the socket.

1. Loose the screw of the fan with a screwdriver:	2. Rotate the front coverclockwise and remove it:
3. Take off the the fan knob by rotating it and pull down the fan blade of the motor shaft:	4. Now remove the cover plate of the rear cover and take off the rear cover as well.
5. Clean each part with a dry soft cloth.
6. Should be dirt or not easily removable dirt, use arm soapy water.
7. Do not use solvents or abrasives (thinner), metal utensils or hard brushes for cleaning, as they may damage the plastic housing.

8. Do not immerse the fan in water or other liquids. Do not allow water to drip onto or into the motor housing of the fan.

9. Dry all components thoroughly before you assemble the fan back.

10. When assembling, be sure to assemble the fan as you have disassembled it.

11. Pay special attention to the fact that you have to aligne the anti-stay groove of the rear cover the the clamp groove of the motor. When installing, please note that the groove behind the fan blade shall be stuck on the limit pin of the motor shaft.

12. Put on the front gear by rotating it onto the rear cover and secure the fan head with the screw.

COMMON FAULT AND ELIMINATION

In the unlikely event that service work is required on your device in this period we warrant free repair (spare parts and labour) or (subject to Schuss's decision) to replace the product. In the event that neither repair nor exchange make sense from an economical perspective we reserve the right to issue a credit based on current value.

When dealing with air conditioning devices you should always contact the customer hotline first (see label on the device or the title page of the instruction manual), in case of fans contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair not performed by the authorised workshop in Austria immediately renders this warranty void.

This warranty does not include:

• Repair of replacement of parts due to normal wear
- Damage due to non-compliance with the instruction manual
• Devices that are used commercially – even in part
- Devices damaged by external forces (falling, impact, cracking, improper use etc.) as well as aesthetic wear
• Devices that have been used improperly
• Devices that were not opened by our authorised workshop.
- Unfulfilled customer expectations.
- Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning and overvoltage.
- Devices on which type denomination and/or serial number on the device have been erased, rendered illegible or removed.
- Service work not performed by our authorised workshops, transport costs to an authorised workshop or us and back as well as associated risks.

Please note that within the warranty period we charge a flat rate of 60 € (indexed as per consumer price index 2010, June 2015) in case of operating errors or if no fault can be found.

The total warranty period of 2 years is not extended if warranty service is performed (repair or device replacement).

The 2 year warranty is only valid if the original invoice (must contain name and address of the dealer as well as full device name) and the respective warranty certificate are produced, on which the device type and serial number (can be found on the box and the device's rear or bottom) are to be noted! Only the statutory warranty coverage applies if the warranty certificate cannot be produced!

Please note that the statutory warranty coverage is not altered by this warranty and that it applies in full regardless.
