- Do not suck up liquids with the product. Do not suck up lit cigarettes, hot ashes, matches, etc. Fire hazard!
- Do not suck up inflammable or explosive materials and gases. The product must not be used in rooms with explosive gases or liquids.
- Be especially careful when cleaning the stairs.
- When in use, keep the product away from clothes and body parts (fingers, hair, face).
- Do not try to clean people or animals with the product.
- Make sure that the power supply cord does not become a tripping hazard while using the product.
- Important! Check to ensure that the product is in a serviceable condition before use. The product shall not be used if it shows any signs of damage or it's suspected to be defect.
INTENDED USE
The vacuum cleaner is designed only to vacuum dry dust and dirt. Using it for anything else can damage the device or cause injury.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center.
Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.
ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER
Fig. 1 Insert the suction hose into the hose connection. Make sure that it's fit in correctly and turn it clockwise to fasten.
Fig. 2 Place the floor nozzle on the lower end and the suction tube handle on the upper end of the telescopic tube.
Fig. 3 Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired length by pressing the locking mechanism down and then pushing the telescopic tube out or squeezing it together.
USE OF THE ACCESSORIES PROVIDED
Floor nozzle
Fig. 4 To vacuum hard floors, press the toggle switch down. To vacuum carpeted areas, press the toggle switch again in order to retract the brushes.
Dusting / Crevice nozzle
Fig. 5 For vacuuming upholstered furniture, mattresses, cushions, curtains, etc. For vacuuming folds, crevices and corners.
OPERATION
Fig. 6 Pull out the connection cable to the desired length and insert the power plug into a receptacle.
Fig. 7 Press the On/Off switch to turn the vacuum cleaner on/off. Adjust the suction power with the suction control.
Tip: If the vacuum can only be guided with difficulty over carpeted areas due to excessively high suction power, adjust the suction power down by opening the auxiliary air flap on the handle.
Fig. 8 Switch the vacuum cleaner off after use and unplug it when you have finished working. Wind the power cable around the cable storage device by pressing the automatic cable retraction switch. While you are doing this keep the cable taut, if possible.

CLEANING AND CARE

Warning!
When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).

Warning!
Never immerse any electrical parts of the product in water or in other liquids during cleaning. Never place it under running water.

Changing of the dust bag
Fig. 11 If the dustbag fill indicator shows red or if the suction power diminishes, the dust bag must be changed and the filters must be cleaned.
Open the lid and remove the dust bag by taking it out of the dust bag holder.
Insert a new dust bag into the dust bag holder and close the lid.
Cleaning the motor filter
Fig. 12 Remove the motor filter and tap it to remove the dust. Then re-insert it. Insert the filter in the right direction so that the correct side is facing the motor. The side which faced the dust bin before should not face the motor when re-inserting it again.
Warning: Never use the vacuum cleaner without a motor filter, as otherwise, the motor will soon get dirty and will be subject to wear. If the motor filter gets dirty, the suction power will diminish.
Reassemble all of the components that have previously been removed. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
Cleaning the exhaust air filter
Fig. 13 Open the flap, take the filter out and tap it to remove the dust. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

We provide a warranty for this device in according to the following conditions:
- In accordance with the conditions below (points 2-7) we will remove defects of the device free of charge, it they are evidently due to material and/or production errors, and if they are reported to us immediately after detection and within 24 months of delivery to the first end user.
- The warranty does not cover easily breakable parts such as glass, plastic or light bulbs. A warranty obligation is not triggered by minor deviations from the target conditions, which are not significant to the value and usability of the device, by damages due to chemical and electro-chemical effects of water, in general by abnormal environmental conditions or improper operating conditions, or if the device otherwise comes into contact with unsuitable substances. A warranty can also not be assumed if the defects on the device are due to transport damage which is not caused by us, improper installation and assembly, incorrect operation, non-household usage, a lack of maintenance or the non-observance of the operating or assembly instructions. Warranty claims are void if repairs or interventions are carried out by people who are not authorised by us to do so, or if our devices have been equipped with spare parts, supplements or accessories, which are not original parts and therefore cause a defect.
- The warranty service is performed by either repairing the defect parts or replacing them with non-defect parts, at our discretion. Devices which can be transported (e.g. in a car) and on which a warranty service is claimed within the scope of this warranty, are to be handed over or sent to our closest customer service office or our contracted customer service office. Repairs at the place of installation can only be requested for devices which are operated on site (stationary devices). The respective sales receipt stating the purchase and/or delivery date is to be submitted. Replaced parts become our property.
- If the rectification of the defect device is rejected by us or fails, we will provide a replacement of equal value and at no charge within the above-mentioned warranty period, at the request of the end user.
- Warranty services neither invoke an extension of the warranty period, nor start a new warranty period. The warranty period for built-in replacement parts ends with the warranty period for the whole device.
- Smart Devices: If your device is able to connect to the internet (so called smart device) security updates are not part of the scope of this warranty. For a certain period of time security updates for your smart device will be done automatically. If this period ends you will be informed by a general note. Afterwards security updates can be performed manually.
- This warranty extends to every country where this device is supplied by an authorised distributor.

Any other or further claims, in particular those regarding compensation for damage caused outside of the device are ruled out -provided liability is not obligatory by law.

We are furthermore liable without restrictions in accordance to legal requirements for damage covered by the liability scope of the Product Liability Act, as well as for damage caused by intentional and gross negligent contract violations plus fraudulent intent by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents.

This warranty bond does not affect your legal warranty claims.
