How to use the temperature probe?

Plug the probe into the designated port, select a program, press the probe button, set the desired temperature (35°C to 85°C), insert the probe horizontally into the thickest part of the food, then start cooking. The appliance will stop automatically when the internal temperature is reached.

What are the different cooking programs?

The programs are: Grill (temperature 205°C to 265°C, duration 10 min), Air Crisp (200°C, 20 min), Meat (200°C, 25 min), Oven bake (160°C, 35 min), and Fish (180°C, 20 min).

Can I use oil in the fryer?

No, this air fryer is designed to cook without oil. Never fill the fryer basket with oil.

How to clean the accessories?

The grill plate, sieve, and basket can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot soapy water. For stubborn residues, soak the parts in hot soapy water for a few hours. The base and control panel can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit.

What should I do if the screen shows 'Shut Lid'?

This message indicates that the lid is open. Close the lid using the handle to continue cooking.

The food is not crispy, what should I do?

Make sure the food is evenly distributed in the basket. During cooking, you can open the lid, remove the basket, and shake the food to mix it. Also check that the temperature is high enough.

Can I use metal utensils?

No, avoid metal utensils as they may damage the non-stick coating of the basket. Preferably use heat-resistant plastic utensils.

How to adjust the temperature manually?

Press the temperature button (B15) to adjust the temperature in steps. You can do this at any time, even during cooking.

What does the error code E0 to E4 mean?

These codes indicate a malfunction of the appliance. Please contact Princess customer service for repair by a qualified technician.

What is the maximum capacity of the basket?

The maximum capacity is indicated inside the fryer basket. Never fill above this mark to avoid contact with the heating element.

The Princess 01.182092.01.001 is an air fryer for grilling, baking, and roasting food using hot air without the use of oil. The appliance comes with a temperature probe to measure the temperature of the food.

Intended use

This appliance is intended for indoor use only.

This appliance is intended exclusively for domestic, non-commercial use.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

Safety precautions

WARNING

Electric shock hazard due to short-circuiting:

• Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects to the appliance or power cable. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance or power cable immediately or contact customer service.
• Never immerse the main unit or the temperature probe cable in water or any other liquid.
  • Always avoid spillage on the power cable.

Fire hazard due to overheating:

CAUTION

NOTICE

• Never use metal utensils to remove food from the pan. Metal utensils may damage the non-stick coating.
• Never place the main unit and temperature probe in a dishwasher.

USE

Preparation (see image C)

1. Remove all packaging.
2. Clean all parts that come in contact with food before use. Follow the instructions in chapter Cleaning and maintenance.
3. Place the mesh screen A10 into the lid A5. Push the mesh screen A10 into the lid A5 until you hear a click.
4. Place the basket A12 into the base A6.
5. Place the grill plate A11 into the basket A12.
6. Close the lid A5 with the handle A3.

Using the appliance

1. Plug the power cable A9 into a power outlet.
2. Press the on/off button B23 to switch on the appliance.

3. Press one of the cooking program buttons to select a cooking method of your preference.

1. Press the temperature control B15 to adjust the cooking temperature.
2. Press the timer control B17 to adjust the cooking time.
   When using the temperature probe A13, from here on, follow the instructions in chapter Using the temperature probe.
3. Press the start/stop button B22.

The display B16 shows AddFood when the appliance is ready for use.

1. Open the lid A5 with the handle A3.

2. Place the food inside the basket A12.

3. Close the lid A5 with the handle A3.

The appliance automatically starts cooking the food.

The timer counts down from the set cooking time.

To interrupt the cooking process to check if the food is ready, open the lid A5 with the handle A3. The cooking process automatically pauses. If needed, remove the basket A12 from the appliance and shake to mix up the food. Place the basket A12 back into the appliance and close the lid A5 to continue the cooking process.

Plug in the temperature probe ^13 anytime during the cooking process to test if the food is at the correct temperature. The display B ^16 alternately shows the current food temperature, cooking temperature, and remaining time.

The appliance emits a beep and the display B16 shows END when the cooking process is finished.

To add more time to the cooking time, press the timer control B ^17 to add more time to the cooking time. Press the start/stop button B ^22 to continue cooking.

1. Open the lid A5 with the handle A3.

2. Remove the food from the basket A12 with a heat-resistant plastic tong.

3. Allow the appliance to cool down after use.

Keep the lid open to speed up the cooling down process.

Using the temperature probe (see image D)

1. Press one of the cooking program buttons to select a cooking method of your preference.

2. Plug the temperature probe A13 into the temperature probe port A1.

3. Press the temperature probe button B21.

The display B16 shows 80°C by default.

1. Press the temperature control B15 to adjust the cooking temperature.

i The cooking temperature can be set between 35°C and 85°C.

iPress the temperature control to adjust the cooking temperature any time during the cooking process.

1. Insert the temperature probe A13 horizontally in the middle of the thickest part of the food.

2. Open the lid A5 with the handle A3.

3. Place the food inside the basket A12.

4. Close the lid A5 with the cord of the temperature probe A13 in-between the lid A5 and the base A6.

5. Press the start/stop button B22 to start cooking.

The display B16 alternately shows the current temperature and the set temperature.

The appliance emits a beep and the display B16 shows END when the cooking process is finished.

The appliance automatically stops heating when the food has reached the set temperature.

1. Remove the food from the basket A12 with a heat-resistant plastic tong.
2. Remove the temperature probe A13 from the food with oven mitts.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after each use.

1. Unplug the power cable A9 from the power outlet.
2. Let the appliance cool down.
3. Push the mesh screen mounting clip A4 upwards to remove the mesh screen A10 from the lid A5.
4. Remove the grill plate A11 and the basket A12 from the base A6.

5. Clean the following parts with warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher:

9. Remove persistent residue or grease from the grill plate A11, mesh screen A10, or basket A12 by soaking it in warm, soapy water for a few hours or overnight.

10. Clean the metal end of the temperature probe A13 with warm, soapy water.
11. Clean the base A6 and control panel A2 with a soft, damp cloth.

STORAGE

Store the appliance in a dry and enclosed space and in the original packaging to ensure safe storage and protection against dust, moist or other filth.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The food is not crispy.	The food is not evenly spread out in the basket A12.	Place the food in an even layer in the basket A12.
		Remove the basket A12 from the appliance during cooking and shake to mix up the food.
	The temperature is set too low. Cook the food according to the instructions on the packaging of the food.
The food is overcooked/undercooked.	The temperature probe A13 is not inserted correctly into the food.	Insert the temperature probe A13 horizontally in the middle of the thickest part of the food.
	The temperature is set too high/low. Cook	the food according to the instructions on the packaging of the food.
