About this appliance
The Princess 01.182092.01.001 is an air fryer for grilling, baking, and roasting food using hot air without the use of oil. The appliance comes with a temperature probe to measure the temperature of the food.
Intended use
This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
This appliance is intended exclusively for domestic, non-commercial use.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Only use the appliance as described in this user manual.
Any use of the appliance other than described in this user manual is regarded as misuse and may cause injury or damage to the appliance and void the warranty.

Indication for a hot surface. Contact may cause burns. Do not touch.
Safety precautions
WARNING
Electric shock hazard due to short-circuiting:
- Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects to the appliance or power cable. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance or power cable immediately or contact customer service.
- Never immerse the main unit or the temperature probe cable in water or any other liquid.
• Always avoid spillage on the power cable. - Never open the appliance. The appliance may only be opened for maintenance by an authorised technician.

- Never replace the power cable yourself. Always let the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person replace the power cable.
- Never lift the appliance by the power cable. Lifting the appliance by the power cable may damage the power cable. Only lift the appliance by holding the base.
- Always unplug the power cable when the appliance is not in use or unattended, and before cleaning.
- Always check if the voltage stated on the type plate of your appliance matches your mains voltage before use.
- Never insert any objects into the air vent openings.
Fire hazard due to overheating:
- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. Only use the appliance under supervision. Switch off the appliance and remove the power cable from the power outlet when you leave the room.
- Never use the appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically.
- Always ensure there is enough space around the appliance. Leave at least 15 cm of free space around the appliance to ensure proper ventilation.
- Never place the appliance directly underneath a power outlet. The appliance may become hot during use. Always keep the back of the appliance clear of any objects.
- Never cover the appliance or the air vents when in use.
- Never place the appliance near a heat source.
- Never use the appliance without the mesh screen or pan in place.
- Never fill the pan with oil.
Fire hazard due to short-circuiting:
- Never drop the appliance and avoid bumping. Excessive vibrations can lead to loosened connections and can influence proper functioning of the appliance. Stop using the appliance if the appliance has been dropped.
- Never use the appliance with an extension cable.
Fire hazard due to burnt food:
- Always clean all parts that come into contact with food after use.
- Never exceed the maximum level indicated on the inside of the pan to avoid contact with the heating element.
Burning hazard due to hot liquids:
- Never use the appliance on recreational vehicles or boats. Hot liquid may spill out of the appliance.
- Always ensure the lid is fully closed. Hot liquid may splatter out of the appliance.
- Never move the appliance during use. Hot liquid may spill out of the appliance.
Choking hazard due to plastic packaging:
- Never let children play with the packaging material. Always keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
Snagging hazard due to moving parts:
- Always switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power source before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
CAUTION
Burning hazard due to heat:
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never touch the hot surfaces during or shortly after use. The hot surfaces may be subject to residual heat. Let the appliance cool down completely before handling the appliance.
- Be careful when opening the lid. Hot steam may escape.
Tripping hazard due to loose cables:
- Never leave the power cable hanging out in a way that someone might trip over it or accidentally pull it.
NOTICE
Risk of damaging the appliance:
- Never use aggressive chemical cleaning agents that can damage the appliance when cleaning the appliance.
- Only use the appliance with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by Princess.

Never fill the pan above the maximum capacity marking to prevent overflowing.

Never place the appliance in a dishwasher.
- Never place the appliance near the edge of a countertop during use. Vibrations may occur during use which may cause the appliance to move. Always place the appliance on a stable, flat, heat, and moisture resistant surface.
- Never use metal utensils to remove food from the pan. Metal utensils may damage the non-stick coating.
- Never place the main unit and temperature probe in a dishwasher.
USE
Preparation (see image C)
- Remove all packaging.
- Clean all parts that come in contact with food before use. Follow the instructions in chapter Cleaning and maintenance.
- Place the mesh screen A10 into the lid A5. Push the mesh screen A10 into the lid A5 until you hear a click.
- Place the basket A12 into the base A6.
- Place the grill plate A11 into the basket A12.
- Close the lid A5 with the handle A3.
Using the appliance
- Plug the power cable A9 into a power outlet.
- Press the on/off button B23 to switch on the appliance.

Press one of the cooking program buttons to select a cooking method of your preference.

- Press the temperature control B15 to adjust the cooking temperature.
- Press the timer control B17 to adjust the cooking time.
When using the temperature probe A13, from here on, follow the instructions in chapter Using the temperature probe. - Press the start/stop button B22.



The display B16 shows AddFood when the appliance is ready for use.

Open the lid A5 with the handle A3.
-
Place the food inside the basket A12.
-
Close the lid A5 with the handle A3.
The appliance automatically starts cooking the food.
The timer counts down from the set cooking time.
To interrupt the cooking process to check if the food is ready, open the lid A5 with the handle A3. The cooking process automatically pauses. If needed, remove the basket A12 from the appliance and shake to mix up the food. Place the basket A12 back into the appliance and close the lid A5 to continue the cooking process.
Plug in the temperature probe ^13 anytime during the cooking process to test if the food is at the correct temperature. The display B ^16 alternately shows the current food temperature, cooking temperature, and remaining time.
The appliance emits a beep and the display B16 shows END when the cooking process is finished.
To add more time to the cooking time, press the timer control B ^17 to add more time to the cooking time. Press the start/stop button B ^22 to continue cooking.

Open the lid A5 with the handle A3.
-
Remove the food from the basket A12 with a heat-resistant plastic tong.
-
Allow the appliance to cool down after use.
Keep the lid open to speed up the cooling down process.
Using the temperature probe (see image D)

Press one of the cooking program buttons to select a cooking method of your preference.
-
Plug the temperature probe A13 into the temperature probe port A1.
-
Press the temperature probe button B21.
The display B16 shows 80°C by default.
- Press the temperature control B15 to adjust the cooking temperature.
i The cooking temperature can be set between 35°C and 85°C.
iPress the temperature control to adjust the cooking temperature any time during the cooking process.

Insert the temperature probe A13 horizontally in the middle of the thickest part of the food.

Open the lid A5 with the handle A3.
-
Place the food inside the basket A12.
-
Close the lid A5 with the cord of the temperature probe A13 in-between the lid A5 and the base A6.

Press the start/stop button B22 to start cooking.
The display B16 alternately shows the current temperature and the set temperature.


The appliance emits a beep and the display B16 shows END when the cooking process is finished.
The appliance automatically stops heating when the food has reached the set temperature.
- Remove the food from the basket A12 with a heat-resistant plastic tong.
- Remove the temperature probe A13 from the food with oven mitts.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after each use.
- Unplug the power cable A9 from the power outlet.
- Let the appliance cool down.
- Push the mesh screen mounting clip A4 upwards to remove the mesh screen A10 from the lid A5.
- Remove the grill plate A11 and the basket A12 from the base A6.

Clean the following parts with warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher:

Remove persistent residue or grease from the grill plate A11, mesh screen A10, or basket A12 by soaking it in warm, soapy water for a few hours or overnight.
- Clean the metal end of the temperature probe A13 with warm, soapy water.
- Clean the base A6 and control panel A2 with a soft, damp cloth.
STORAGE
Store the appliance in a dry and enclosed space and in the original packaging to ensure safe storage and protection against dust, moist or other filth.
