"Li-Power, LiHD" li-ion battery packs have a capacity and sig- nal indicator 9: - Press button ❿ and the state of charge is indicated by the LED lights (the power tool has to be switched off at least 1 sec). - If an LED light flashes, the battery pack is almost drained and needs to be recharged. The tool's output capacity depends on the rechargeable battery that is selected. To utilise the tool's full output capacity, we recommend using genuine ProCORE battery with the capability 8 Ah or higher. Rechargeable battery state-of-charge indicator The five green LEDs on the battery state-of-charge display indicate the rechargeable battery's state of charge 9. It is only recommended to check the state of charge when the power tool has been switched off at least 1 sec or discon- nected. Press button ❿ to display the state of charge (can also be done with the rechargeable battery removed). The state-of-charge display goes out automatically after approx. 3seconds. The output temperature can be set via the setting wheel. The air flow is adjusted automatically depending on the battery status, ambient conditions and the type of the output nozzle. The main goal of automatic air flow regulation is to achieve the highest possible flow values at a constant outlet temperature and thus ensure maximum output power for all situations. Setting wheel for output temperature For the output temperature setting ist used setting wheel. Temperatures can be set in the range of 150 - 550°C with a step of 50°C for each number. The numbers 1 - 9 are printed on the wheel. Number on the wheel Output temperature °C
Status LED light A status LED light is located under the temperature setting wheel. If the MH-7 is switched ON and the set temperature is not reached, the wheel flashes slowly. If the outlet temperature is reached, the wheel lights up continuously. When the LED light flashes fast, the device stops immediately. Fast flashing indicate one of the following situations:
- the battery is empty - replace the battery
- the battery is defective or not compatible - replace the battery
- the battery was connected when the main switch was turned ON - turne the main switch OFF and ON again If the user does not take any action within two minutes after fast flashing starts, the LED will stop flashing and the device will automatically turn off. Applications The hot air tool is ideal for use on smaller-type components and shrink tubing. In particular, it has come to be appreciated by electronics technicians, model-makers, automotive workshops and electrical fitters. Here are just some of its many uses: Heat-shrinking - Shrink-fitting connectors for cables and wires. - Fitting heat-shrinkable products (e.g. heat-shrinkable tubes) Soldering / de-soldering - Soldering SMD components. - Repairs and corrections to electronic SMD assemblies. Shaping - Work on plastic parts, e.g. in model-making. De-icing - De-icing locks Removing / Softening - Removing stickers - Heating and removing of glued materials Welding - Welding with welding rods (e.g. PVC, PE, PP, ABS) - Welding PVC sheeting (e.g. roof membranes, HGV curtain sides/tent tarpaulin) Heating large areas - Heating automotive filmsGB – 18 – Accessories (see illustrations on the inside cover) Your retailer has a wide range of accessories for you to choose from. a Reflector nozzle 20 mm, Prod.
