How to install the cutting disc?

Choose the desired disc and attach it by turning it slightly into the funnel holder. Only touch the plastic part of the disc to avoid cuts.

What are the recommended speeds?

Use speed I for hard foods (Parmesan, nuts) and soft foods (cooked potatoes). Use speed II for firmer foods like carrots, cucumbers, onions.

Can I cut meat with this appliance?

No, the appliance is not designed for cutting meat or very hard foods like sugar, coffee beans, or bones.

How to clean the appliance?

Unplug the appliance. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. The funnel, pusher, cutting discs, storage box, and salad bowl are dishwasher safe. To preserve sharpness, rinse the discs under hot water preferably.

Can the salad bowl be used in the microwave?

No, the salad bowl (salad container) is not suitable for microwave ovens.

How to use the salad box for transport?

Prepare the salad without dressing, place it in the box. Use the integrated container for dressing, turning it slightly counterclockwise to remove.

What to do if the power cord is damaged?

The cable must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a qualified person to avoid any hazard. Do not use the appliance.

Can I use the appliance without a cutting disc?

No, do not operate the appliance without a cutting disc. Wait for the motor to stop completely before removing the disc.

What is the maximum continuous use time?

It is recommended not to exceed 2 minutes of continuous operation. Let the appliance cool down before using it again.

Is the appliance under warranty?

Yes, the appliance comes with the WMF manufacturer's warranty. Keep the proof of purchase. Damage due to misuse or professional use is not covered.

Safety instructions

• Only connect the appliance to earthed wall sockets that have been installed pursuant to regulations. The supply cable and plug must be dry.
• Do not pull or clamp the connecting cable over sharp edges. Do not leave it dangling and protect it from heat and oil.
• Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as on hotplates or similar areas, and do not operate near naked flames.
• Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the cable or with wet hands.
• Do not switch on the device without the cutter insert.
  Before removing the cutter insert, always wait for the motor and the cutter insert to stop moving.
• Pull out the mains plug before removing the cutter insert.
• Never transport the device with the cutter insert fitted.
• The appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the mains before accessories or additional parts that move during operation are replaced.
  Only use original cutter inserts as supplied.

Use

The WMF KUCHENminis® Salad to go is a space-saving and energy-efficient kitchen appliance. The design is designed for chopping, cutting and grating foods such as vegetables, Parmesan and chocolate.

The device may not be used for processing very hard foodstuffs such as sugar, coffee beans or meat.

Getting started

Clean the device before use as described in the chapter on "Cleaning and Care".
- Fit the cutter insert funnel onto the motor unit and twist the cutter insert funnel one quarter of a turn anticlockwise.
- Select the cutter insert you want and place it in the holder on the cutter insert funnel by twisting slightly.

Please note: The blades on the cutter inserts are sharp, only pick the cutter inserts up by the plastic parts.

Note: The best way to hold the cutter inserts is by the ring at the front, which acts as a handle for the cutter insert.

Now you can insert the mains plug into the socket.
Use the filler tubes to add the ingredients and hold down the relevant start button I or II. Note: Only press lightly with the stopper onto the ingredients so that they are in contact with the cutter insert.
- Remove the mains plug once you are done. Remove the cutter insert by twisting slightly. Note: Hold the cutter insert by the ring at the front to make it easier to fit and remove.

General information

• Use the slower speed (Start button I) for hard foods (e.g. Parmesan, nuts). We also recommend using start button I for particularly soft and delicate foods (e.g. cooked potatoes). Note: As the hardness of foods can vary, the speeds quoted are just a recommendation.
• Where possible, always fill the filler tubes so that the food covers the whole width of the cutter insert. This gives the best cutting results.
• If you are working with pepper, cut it into quarters and put the pieces of pepper into the filler tubes.
  We recommend a maximum chopping time of 2 minutes.

Salad box

You can store and transport your freshly prepared salad in the salad box provided.

Note: Always transport the salad without dressing. Use the built-in dressing container for your dressing. You can remove it from the salad box by gently twisting it clockwise.

Note: The Salad to go box is not suitable for the microwave.

Cleaning and maintenance

Remove the mains plug after use. The motor unit should never be placed in water, only wiped down with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agents. When cleaning the cutter inserts, be careful not to hurt yourself on the sharp blades, always hold the cutter inserts on the plastic parts. For ease of cleaning, the funnel, stopper, cutter inserts, storage box for the cutter inserts and the salad to go box with dressing container can all be washed in the dishwasher. We recommend gently cleaning the cutter inserts with warm running water. Regular washing in the dishwasher may blunt the blades.

• This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363 fitted to the mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for your socket outlets or needs to be replaced, please note the following. If the plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the mains lead and immediately dispose of it. Never insert it into a socket outlet as there is a very great risk of an electric shock

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows

• the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black,

the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.

Do not connect any wire to the terminal which is marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol ,or coloured green or green and yellow.

• If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 3 A fuse conforming to BS 1362 and be AS1 approved. If any other type of plug is used, the appliance must be protected by a 5 A fuse either in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board.
• In doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
• Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.

At the end of its service life, this product may not be disposed of in the normal household waste, but rather must be disposed of at a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic devices.
