Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.

7. Vertical storage bracket

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.

• Clean the inside of the Tortilla maker with a damp cloth and dry it well. Never immerse the appliance in water.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface with the plates positioned on the left side of the base. Ensure a free space of 35 cm on the right side of the base to be able to flip the plates and a minimum of 10 cm of free space around the rest of the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or use in a humid environment.

• We advise to place a heat resistant surface between your table and the appliance (this way you will not get burn marks on your table or table cloth).

• Put the mains plug into the power outlet . (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. (Voltage 220-240V ~ 50/60Hz)

• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor may be noticeable . This fragrance is normal, temporary and will disappear soon. Please ensure there is adequate ventilation. USE

• Close the Tortilla chef and plug it into the power outlet. Set the temperature knob to the desired temperature and turn the timer knob to the right. Both indication lights will illuminate, indicating that the device is on and preheating.

• Note: both control knobs must be set to operate the device.

• The green ready indication light will turn off once the set temperature is reached and the device is ready for use.

• Now place the desired dish in the pan and turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time.EN

• Place the eggs, potato and other ingredients of your choosing in the Tortilla chef and close the device. The baking time will dependent on the type and amount of ingredients. It is recommended to open the lid and check the baking progress, before flipping the Spanish Tortilla.

• Half way the baking process you can flip the Tortilla chef 180 degrees to bake the other side of the Spanish Tortilla. There is a lock on the inside of the handles which should be closed in order to lock the plates before you flip the device 180 degrees around its base. Never flip the device without locking the plates first. Wok & baking plate Place the Tortilla Chef with both plates open on the table. Now you can simultaneously use it as a wok/frying pan and baking plate for preparing multiple dishes at the same time. Do not use anything metal, to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. Pizza Place your un-cooked pizza dough directly onto the pan and add your favorite toppings. Never over-fill or mount your topping too high on your pizza. The topping should always be below the height of the top-heating plate to prevent burning. The baking time dependents on the thickness of the dough and the amount of topping. It is recommended that you open the lid regularly to check the backing progress.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.

• Never pour cold water on a hot plate, this could damage the device and can cause splashing hot water.

• Wipe the inside and the edges of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

• Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.

• For storage, keep the device with one hand in the vertical position and slide with your other hand the vertical storage bracket over the baking plates.6 Instruction manual GUARANTEE
