To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position). □ Use the 2-pole voltage tester to verify the de-ener gised status. ● Start-up ● Mounting the light fixture □ Undo the shade

up to the ceiling and mark the drill holes using the screw holes provided in the base plate

Drill the mounting holes (approx. Ø 6 mm, depth approx. 40 mm). Make sure that you do not damage the power cable. □ Insert the wall plugs

into the drill holes. Use a hammer, if necessary.

Attach the base plate

to the ceiling with the screws

Pull the protective tubes

over the wires L and N of the (external) power cable

□ Connect the (external) power cable

with the screw terminal

to the light fixture. □ Make sure to connect the individual wires of the light fixture cable with the correspondingly coloured wires of the power cable (current-carrying conductor, black or brown = symbol L, neutral conductor, blue = symbol N, earth conductor, yellow-green = ).

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: composite materials. The product and pack aging are recyclable and subject to extended producer responsibility. Please dispose of them separately according to the symbols on the pack aging for better waste management.
