■ Ensure that the light does not come into contact with water or other liquids under any circumstances.
■Never open any of the components of the electrical equipment or insert any objects into the same components. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.

☐ Before installation ensure that the circuit, to which the light will be connected, is not energised. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
□Use the 2-pole voltage tester to verify the de-energised status.

□Undo the shade 7 from the base plate 1 by turning it anti-clockwise.
☐Hold the base plate 1 up to the ceiling and mark the drill holes using the screw holes provided in the base plate 1 for the screws 6.
Drill the mounting holes (approx. ∅ 6 mm, depth approx. 40 mm). Make sure that you do not damage the power cable.
☐Insert the wall plugs 2 into the drill holes. Use a hammer, if necessary.
☐ Attach the base plate 1 to the ceiling with the screws 6.
☐ Pull the protective tubes 3 over the wires L and N of the (external) power cable 4.
☐ Connect the (external) power cable 4 with the screw terminal 5 to the light fixture.
□Make sure to connect the individual wires of the light fixture cable with the correspondingly coloured wires of the power cable (current-carrying conductor, black or brown = symbol L, neutral conductor, blue = symbol N, earth conductor, yellow-green = ⏻
□ Ensure a tight fit.
□Attach the shade 7 to the base plate 1 by turning it clockwise.
☐Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker (I position) in the fuse box.

Your light fixture is now ready to use.
