Operation

  • Charging the battery pack (Fig. A)

NOTE

The battery pack 1 may be charged at any time without reducing the life.

Interrupting the charging process does not damage the battery pack 1.

  • Charge the battery pack 1 before use when it is at medium or low charging level.
    The charging control LEDs (green 5 and red 4) indicate the status of the charger 3 and the battery pack 1:

Insert the battery pack 1 into the charger 3.
- Connect the power plug 2 to a socket-outlet.
- When the battery pack 1 is fully charged: Remove the battery pack from the charger 3. Disconnect the power plug 2 from the socket-outlet.

Positioning the product

The charger 3 can be used either free-standing or mounted on the wall.

Wall mounting

  • Drill 2 holes in the wall with a spacing of 76.2 ~mm .
    Place 2 dowels into the holes.
    Place 2 round-head screws with screw head diameter of 7 to 8mm into the dowels (Fig. B). Leave the screw head protruding at a distance of approx. 8mm from the wall.

  • Place the charger 3 onto the screws using the openings at the back of the charger 3. The charging control LEDs (green 5 and red 4) have to be located on the lower end of the charger 3.

When drilling, be careful not to damage any supply lines. Use suitable search devices to find the supply lines or consult the installation plan for guidance.
- Contact with electrical cables can lead to electric shock and fire.
- Contact with a gas pipe can result in an explosion.
- Damage to a water pipe can lead to property damage and electric shock.

Cleaning and care

Cleaning

Never allow fluids to get into the product.
The product must always be kept clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Remove debris from it after each use and before storage.
Regular and proper cleaning will help ensure safe use and prolong the life of the product.
Clean the product with a dry cloth. Use a soft brush for areas that are hard to reach.
In particular clean the air vents after every use with a cloth and soft brush.
The vents must always be clear.

NOTE

Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive or other aggressive detergents or disinfectants to clean this product as they might be harmful to its surfaces.

Maintenance

The product is maintenance-free.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
