CHARGING STATION P Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it. CHARGING STATION (hereinafter referred to as the “Product“) is an information electronics device. This product is only for charging mobile devices that use Qi technology. The product is intended for private use only and not for commercial use. CHILDREN! DANGER! RISK OF SUFFOCATION! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Damage to property Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any damage to the product or the connection cable is detected! This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. Keep the product away from moisture, dripping and splash water! Do not place burning candles or other open fire on or next to the product. If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, immediately disconnect the mains connection. Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time before using it again to prevent short circuits!44 GB/IE Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat! Do not throw the product into fire and do not expose to high temperatures. Never open the product. It has no internal parts requiring maintenance. The product must not be covered during operation, no foreign objects may be introduced into the product, no foreign objects may lie on the Qi charging surface during operation. ATTENTION! Radio interference Do not use the product on aeroplanes, in hospitals, service rooms, or near medical electronic systems. The wireless signals transmitted could impact the functionality of sensitive electronics. Keep the product at least 20 cm from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the functionality of pacemakers. The radio waves transmitted could cause interference in hearing aids. Never use the product near flammable gases or potentially explosives areas (e.g. paint shops), as the radio waves emitted45 GB/IE can cause explosions and fire. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsible for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorised modification of the product. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and products not distributed by OWIM. The user of the product is solely responsible for rectifying malfunctions caused by unauthorized changes to the product and the replacement of such modified products. Before using the product, ensure that the available mains voltage corresponds with the operating voltage required for the mains supply (100‒240 V∼, 50 / 60 Hz). Before using the product, verify the product and the mains supply and the cable connection aren‘t damaged! Never operate a damaged product! The product must be plugged into an easily accessible socket so it can easily be unplugged in the event of an emergency. This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be exchanged. The product is only suited for use with the included mains adapter (model no.

To switch the product off completely, unplug the mains adapter from the socket and remove the installed batteries.

Suitable for indoor use only. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or moisture. Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight. If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention! WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage. Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.48 GB/IE Risk of damage of the product. Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery! Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery before inserting! If the rest mode is activate the alarm function will deactivate on Saturdays and Sundays. Switching off the alarm signal: The alarm signal will sound at the set time for around 1 minutes. Press UP button

switch the alarm signal off. You do not have to reactivate the alarm function. The alarm signal will automatically sound again at the set time. Snooze function: While the alarm is going off, press SET button

again to deactivate the snooze function. Changing day / night mode setting : This product can be set with 3 brightness levels (L1: brightest, L3: dimmest). Press and hold the UP button

NOTE: The brightness level default in the light (L1) state is from 7:00 to 17:59 by default for day mode, and all other times default in the light (L3) state for the night mode. . The Charging process starts once the mobile device is correctly placed. Protective covers of the mobile device may interfere with the charging process. In this case, the mobile device must be removed from the protective cover. NOTE: The charging power is up to 10 W, the mains adapter

must be used. The product only supports devices with Qi wireless technology.59 GB/IE P Troubleshooting What should I do if the mobile device does not get charging ? Check that the mobile device have Qi wireless charging technology. Check the mobile device is placed horizontally on the center position of the charging pad. Check that no foreign object blocking the charging. Check whether the mobile device is removed from the protective cover. The product contains delicate electronic components. For this reason it is possible that it can be disrupted by radio transmitting equipment in the immediate vicinity. Electrostatic discharges can lead to malfunctions. In the event of such malfunctions, press the RESET button

. This will reset the product and perform a brief test of the display. The product is then ready for use again. NOTE: Resetting will erase all settings.60 GB/IE P Storage when not in use Store the product in a dry interior, away from direct sunlight, preferably in its original packaging. P Cleaning This product has no internal parts requiring maintenance. Moisture entering the product may result in damage. Ensure no moisture enters the product during cleaning to prevent damaging the product beyond repair. Do not use abrasive, solvent-based or aggressive cleaners. These can damage the surface of the product. A dry brush and cloth is required for cleaning the recesses on the housing cover. P Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.61 GB/IE Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1 – 7: plastics / 20 – 22: paper and fibreboard / 80 – 98: composite materials. Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries! Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
