How to set the alarm on the Auriol HG09324 alarm clock?

Press and hold the SET button (12) for 2 seconds to enter setting mode. Use the UP (11) and DOWN (10) buttons to adjust the year, month, day, 12/24h format, hours, minutes, then enable/disable each alarm (AL1, AL2, AL3). Press SET to confirm and move to the next setting.

How to wirelessly charge my smartphone on this alarm clock?

Make sure your smartphone is Qi compatible. Place it in the center of the charging area (1) on the top. The charging indicator lights up. Maximum power is 10 W; use the included mains adapter.

Which batteries to use and how to install them?

Use 4 AAA (LR03) batteries. Open the compartment (7) by pulling the clip (6), insert the batteries respecting the indicated polarity, then close. The batteries serve as backup for the clock in case of power outage.

Wireless charging not working, what to do?

Check that the mobile device is Qi compatible and placed horizontally in the center of the charging area. Remove any thick case. Make sure no metal object is interfering. If the problem persists, press the RESET button (9) with a paperclip.

How to reset the Auriol HG09324 alarm clock?

Use a pointed object to press the RESET button (9) located on the back. This erases all settings and restarts the product. You will then need to reprogram the time and alarms.

How to activate the Snooze function?

When the alarm sounds, press the SET button (12). The alarm stops for about 5 minutes and the alarm indicator flashes. To turn it off permanently, press UP (11) or DOWN (10).

How to adjust the screen brightness?

Press and hold the UP button (11) for 3 seconds. Use UP and DOWN to choose between levels L1 (brightest) to L3 (darkest). Hold UP again for 3 seconds to confirm.

How to change the temperature unit from °C to °F?

On the standard screen, briefly press the UP button (11) to toggle between °C and °F. The display changes instantly.

The display is dim or flashing, what to do?

This indicates that the backup batteries are low. Replace all 4 AAA batteries at once. If the device is plugged in, batteries are not needed for the display, but clock backup is lost.

What is the warranty period and how to use it?

Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

The DIGITAL ALARM CLOCK WITH QI® CHARGING STATION (hereinafter referred to as the "Product") is an information electronics device. This product is only for charging mobile devices that use Qi technology. The product is intended for private use only and not for commercial use. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or improper use.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. The packaging material is not a toy.

This appliance can be used by children

aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The product is not a toy.

⚠️ ATTENTION! Damage to property

- Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any damage to the product or the connection cable is detected!

This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.

- Keep the product away from moisture, dripping and splash water!

- Do not place burning candles or other op fire on or next to the product.

If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, immediately disconnect the mains connection.

■ Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time before using it again to prevent short circuits!

• Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!
• Do not throw the product into fire and do not expose to high temperatures.
  ■ Never open the product. It has no internal parts requiring maintenance.
  The product must not be covered during operation, no foreign objects may be introduced into the product, no foreign objects may lie on the Qi charging surface during operation.

ATTENTION! Radio interference

• Do not use the product on aeroplanes, in hospitals, service rooms, or near medical electronic systems. The wireless signals transmitted could impact the functionality of sensitive electronics.
• Keep the product at least 20 cm from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the functionality of pacemakers.
  ■ The radio waves transmitted could cause interference in hearing aids.
  ■ Never use the product near flammable gases or potentially explosives areas (e.g. paint shops), as the radio waves emitted

can cause explosions and fire.

The OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsible for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorised modification of the product. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and products not distributed by OWIM.

The user of the product is solely responsible for rectifying malfunctions caused by unauthorized changes to the product and the replacement of such modified products.

Before using the product, ensure that the available mains voltage corresponds with the operating voltage required for the mains supply (100–240 V\~, 50 / 60 Hz).

Before using the product, verify the product and the mains supply and the cable connection aren't damaged! Never operate a damaged product!

- The product must be plugged into an easily accessible socket so it can easily be unplugged in the event of an emergency.

This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be exchanged.

The product is only suited for use with the included mains adapter (model no. XZ0900-2000ENCG).

- To switch the product off completely, unplug the mains adapter from the socket and remove the installed batteries.

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

• Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
  If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE

GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with Wear suitable protective gloves at such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.

●Before use

NOTE:

■ Before use, verify the package contents are complete and undamaged!
- All parts have to be unpacked and the packaging material has to be removed completely.
If you notice any damage or missing parts, contact the dealer who sold this product.

Operation

Powered by batteries:

- Open the battery compartment cover and insert four AAA (LR03) type batteries into the battery compartment 7.

■ Ensure that the polarity of the batteries is correct. The polarity for the batteries is indicated in the battery compartment 7.

Place back the battery compartment cover 6 to close the battery compartment 7.

Powered by mains adapter 13:

Plug the mains adapter 14 into the connector socket for mains adapter 8, then plug the mains adapter 13 into an

easily accessible mains socket.

Replacing / removing the batteries:

NOTE: If the display becomes dim or keeps flashing continuously, the batteries need to be changed. Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Only use battery type AAA (LRO3).

■ Open the battery compartment by pulling back the locking clip of the battery compartment cover 8.

If applicable, remove the old batteries. When powered by batteries, insert new batteries. Check the polarity of the batteries (shown in the battery compartment 7).

- Close the battery compartment. Your product is now ready again for use.

NOTE: Saved data will be lost when changing battery without connecting the power supply unit.

Basic setting:

In the standard display, press and hold the SET button 12 for 2 seconds and the Year flashes in the time display 3. Press the UP button 11 or the DOWN button 10 to select the setting value, then press the SET button 12 to confirm and move onto the

next setting value.

NOTE: Press and hold the UP button

11 or the DOWN button 10 to quickly scan ahead or back through the values.

NOTE: When no buttons are pressed for approx. 15 seconds the clock will return to standard display.

Press the SET button 12 again to return to standard display.

NOTE: Standard display will show the time and date information.

Alarm settings:

This product can be set with 3 alarm times (A1, A2 & A3). Each alarm can be activate and deactivate in the basic setting.

"- -:A1" means alarm function deactivate.

"on:A1" means alarm function activate.

If the alarm in activate, the alarm indicator 5

will display in the date display 2.

If the rest mode is activate the alarm function will deactivate on Saturdays and Sundays.

Switching off the alarm signal:

The alarm signal will sound at the set time for around 1 minutes.

Press UP button 11 and DOWN button 10 to switch the alarm signal off.

You do not have to reactivate the alarm function.

The alarm signal will automatically sound again at the set time.

Snooze function:

While the alarm is going off, press SET button 12 to activate the snooze function.

The alarm is interrupted for around 5 minutes.

The alarm indicator 5 flashes on the display.

Press the UP button 11 and DOWN button 10 again to deactivate the snooze function.

Changing day / night mode setting :

This product can be set with 3 brightness levels (L1: brightest, L3: dimmest).

■ Press and hold the UP button for 3 seconds to set the brightness level settings.
■ Press the UP button the DOWN button 10 to select the brightness level (L1-L3).
■ Press and hold the UP button for 3 seconds to confirm setting and return to standard display.

NOTE: The brightness level default in the light (L1) state is from 7:00 to 17:59 by default for day mode, and all other times default in the light (L3) state for the night mode.

Display mode setting:

In standard display, press the SET button 12 once to switch between the 2 display modes.

The display sequence list is: "dP-1" display mode 1 > "dP-2" display mode 2 (standard display).

Press the SET button "dP-1" will display for 3 seconds will displays the time and temperature in 10 seconds, and change to displays the year, day and month in 5 seconds.

Press the SET button again, "dP-2" will display for 3 seconds will display the time and temperature for a long time.

■ Press the SET button again will change back to display mode 1.

Sound control settings:

This product can be reacted by acoustic signal.

■ Press the DOWN button turn on/off the sound-controlled function.

NOTE: The sound control mode has no effect when operated with only batteries.

- "on:Sd" means that the sound-controlled function is on, the display will turn off automatically if no signal is detected after about 15 seconds.

■ Tapping on the product to activate the display.

- “- - :Sd” means that the sound-controlled function is off, the display will stay on continuously.

Temperature display:

At the standard display, press the UP button 11 to switch the temperature display unit between °C and °F.

Using Qi wireless charging function:

• Place the mobile device on the Qi charging area 1.
  ■ Make sure the center of the device is aligned over the center of the Qi charging area 1. The Charging process starts once the mobile device is correctly placed.
  ■ Protective covers of the mobile device may interfere with the charging process. In this case, the mobile device must be removed from the protective cover.

NOTE: The charging power is up to 10 W, the mains adapter 13 must be used.

The product only supports devices with Qi wireless technology.

●Troubleshooting

What should I do if the mobile device does not get charging?

• Check that the mobile device have Qi wireless charging technology.
• Check the mobile device is placed horizontally on the center position of the charging pad.
• Check that no foreign object blocking the charging.
• Check whether the mobile device is removed from the protective cover.
  The product contains delicate electronic components. For this reason it is possible that it can be disrupted by radio transmitting equipment in the immediate vicinity. Electrostatic discharges can lead to malfunctions. In the event of such malfunctions, press the RESET button 9. This will reset the product and perform a brief test of the display. The product is then ready for use again.

NOTE: Resetting will erase all settings.

●Storage when not in use

Store the product in a dry interior, away from direct sunlight, preferably in its original packaging.

●Cleaning

This product has no internal parts requiring maintenance. Moisture entering the product may result in damage.
■ Ensure no moisture enters the product during cleaning to prevent damaging the product beyond repair.
- Do not use abrasive, solvent-based or aggressive cleaners. These can damage the surface of the product.
A dry brush and cloth is required for cleaning the recesses on the housing cover.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1 - 7: plastics / 20 - 22: paper and fibreboard / 80 - 98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments.

Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
