How do I charge the RECHARGE Compact Cleansing brush?

Make sure the device, your hands and the adapter are dry. Turn off the brush, insert the adapter into the power socket at the bottom of the handle, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The LED light turns on during charging and turns off when charging is complete (approximately 6 hours).

How long does a full charge last?

A full charge takes about 6 hours and provides 30 minutes of cordless use, i.e., about 30 one-minute sessions.

Can I use the quick charge function?

Yes, the quick charge function allows you to recharge the brush for 5 minutes to get about 2 to 3 uses. Ideal for emergencies.

How do I use the brush correctly?

Wet the bristles and your face, apply your cleanser. Turn on the brush at speed 1 (press once) or speed 2 (press twice). Gently glide the brush over the skin in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. A built-in timer reminds you to change areas every 20 seconds (pulse) and the brush stops automatically after 1 minute.

What speeds are available and how do I select them?

The brush has 2 speeds: speed 1 (auto-start) for sensitive skin and speed 2 for a more dynamic cleaning. To switch from speed 1 to 2, press the On/Off button once more. To turn off at speed 1, press twice; at speed 2, press once.

How do I clean the brush after use?

After each use, rinse the brush head with clean water. For the handle, wipe it with a damp cloth. Never immerse the handle in water and do not put any parts in the dishwasher. Make sure all parts are dry before storing or charging.

When should I replace the brush head?

It is recommended to replace the brush head every 3 months for optimal efficiency and hygiene. Replacement heads are available: normal (SP-FC5), skin and beard (SP-FC6), pre-shave (SP-FC7), sensitive (SP-FC8) and charcoal (SP-FC9).

Can I use the brush in the shower?

Yes, the brush is designed for water use and can be used in the shower. However, do not fully submerge it in water and only plug in the adapter after drying the device.

What to do if the brush stops automatically during use?

This is normal: the brush is equipped with excessive pressure protection. If you press too hard, it stops its cycle to avoid irritation. Simply restart it by pressing the On/Off button and continue with lighter pressure.

Can I share the brush with others?

For hygiene reasons, you can share the device provided you change the brush head between each user. Never share brush heads.

GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH THE RECHARGE COMPACT FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH

• The RECHARGE Compact Cleansing Brush has been designed and developed for cleansing the face, stubble and neck.
• The rotating and vibrating bristles gently provide a deep cleanse to remove impurities leaving the skin feeling clean with smoother skin and softer stubble.
• The RECHARGE Compact Cleansing Brush comes with a CHARCOAL Brush Head. Charcoal infused bristles remove impurities and energise the skin. This is ideal for everyday deep cleansing of normal or combination skin.

WARNING AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Before you start using the RECHARGE Compact Cleansing Brush, be sure to read all the warnings and safety information to check the product is suitable for you.
- Avoid using on the delicate skin around the eyes.
DO NOT use the cleansing brush on the same area more than twice a day.
DO NOT use the cleansing brush on areas with open wounds, sunburnt skin, chapped or irritated skin.
DO NOT use if you suffer from skin diseases or skin irritations such as severe/ active acne or skin infection.
DO NOT use if you are taking steroid-based medication.
DO NOT use the Cleansing Brush with face washes containing harsh chemicals or rough particles.
If you wish to share this product with other users, for hygiene reasons, ensure you change the brush head. DO NOT share brush heads between multiple users.

GETTING STARTED

Be patient when first using your RECHARGE Compact Cleansing Brush as with any new product, it may take a little while to familiarise yourself with the product.

Take the time to acquaint yourself with your Cleansing Brush, as we are confident you will receive years of enjoyable use and complete satisfaction.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGING

1 Always ensure that your hands, cleansing brush and charging adaptor are dry before charging.
2 Before using for the first time, fully charge the Cleansing Brush. One full charge will take 6 hours.
3 Ensure the appliance is turned off.
4 Insert the charging adaptor into the power inlet. Fig. 1.

5 Plug the adaptor into the wall socket.
6 The LED Indicator Light will illuminate whilst the Cleansing Brush is charging.
7 When the Cleansing Brush is fully charged, the LED Indicator Light will switch off.
8 One full charge will take 6 hours.
9 One full charge allows up to 30 minutes of cordless usage time (30 x 1 min uses).

NOTE: If the battery charge is low, the LED Indicator Light will pulse on and off whilst in use.

QUICK CHARGE FUNCTION

The Cleansing Brush is also equipped with a quick charge function.
To utilise this function, charge the Cleansing Brush for 5 minutes.
This will provide approximately 2-3 uses.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

This product is suitable for wet use and may be used in the shower.
DO NOT submerge in water.
The adaptor cannot be used in a bath or shower.
The Cleansing Brush has 2 speed settings.

• Always choose the speed setting which is most comfortable for you.
  NOTE: If you suffer from sensitive skin, we recommend selecting speed setting 1 for the first few uses. If you do not experience any skin reactions then speed 2 may be used.
• The Cleansing Brush also comes equipped with a one minute timer to help ensure thorough cleansing of the whole face. We recommend cleansing in 3 sections: T-Zone (1), Right side (2) and Left side (3). Fig. 2.

• The Cleansing Brush will gently pulse every 20 seconds to indicate when to move to the next zone.
• The Cleansing Brush will automatically switch off after 60 seconds to indicate the end of the brushing time.

NOTE: If you change speed settings during cleansing, the timer will set back to zero and the timer will start again.

HOW TO USE

1 Moisten the brush bristles by running under water.
NOTE: DO NOT use the Cleansing Brush whilst completely dry as this can cause skin irritation.
2 dampen your skin with water and apply face wash onto your skin.

Alternatively, apply it directly onto the brush.

3 Place the Cleansing Brush directly onto your skin.
4 Switch on using the On/Off button.
5 Select the speed:

The Cleansing Brush will automatically start on speed 1.

Press the button again for speed 2.

Gently glide the brush over the skin and beard in circular motions avoiding the delicate eye area. Fig. 3.

• When you feel a pulse, move to the next area.
  NOTE: Try to avoid applying too much pressure with the brush when directly on the skin. If this happens the brush will automatically stop its cycle and switch off. This is perfectly normal and helps to ensure a comfortable use. The Cleansing Brush can be restarted by pressing the On switch.
  7 If you wish to end use before the full 60 seconds, early, press the On/Off button as per below:
• When using speed 1, press On/Off button twice.
• When using speed 2, press On/Off button once.
  8 When not being used, use the protective cap to protect the Brush Head. Fig. 4.
• Ensure the bristles are dry before attaching the protective cap.

REPLACING THE BRUSH HEADS

Removing the brush head:

• Hold the brush handle with one hand.
  With the other hand, gently pull the brush head upwards until it comes off Fig. 5.
• To replace the brush head, gently push the head back on until you hear a click. Fig. 6.

• For best results, we recommend replacing the brush head approximately every 3 months.
• Replacement Brush Heads are available:
  Normal:SP-FC5
  Skin & Stubble: SP-FC6
  Pre Shave: SP-FC7
  Sensitive: SP-FC8
  Charcoal: SP-FC9

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• To ensure long lasting performance of your Cleansing Brush, clean the brush head and handle regularly.
• Ensure the Cleansing Brush is switched off before cleaning.
  DO NOT attempt to clean any part of this product in a dishwasher.
• Do not submerge the brush handle in water.
• Brush Head: Rinse the brush head and bristles after each use.
• Brush Handle: To clean the handle, wipe with a damp cloth.

CAUTION: Ensure all parts are dry before connecting the charger into a wall socket.

BATTERY REMOVAL

• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
• The appliance must be disconnected from the mains supply when removing the battery.
  To remove the rechargeable battery:

1 Run the cleansing brush until the motor stops.
2 Remove brush head.
3 Using a small screwdriver, pry the top cap off the handle.
4 Snip wires and pry the battery from the internal assembly with your fingers.
5 Be careful not to puncture the battery casing.
6 The battery is to be disposed of safely.
