How to activate my Xplora X5 Play watch?

Make sure the SIM card is active with enough voice and data. Charge the watch if necessary. Open the Xplora app and create a guardian account. From the watch, go to the QR code menu in settings. Scan this QR code with the app, then follow the instructions to complete activation.

What type of SIM card to use in the X5 Play?

The watch only accepts Nano-SIM format SIM cards. Mini-SIM and Micro-SIM formats are not compatible. Before inserting the card, make sure to disable the SIM card's PIN code.

How to charge the Xplora X5 Play watch?

Use only the supplied magnetic charging cable or an Xplora approved accessory. Connect the magnetic charger as shown. Plug into a 5V power source with a current greater than 500 mA. After a complete discharge, charge the watch for at least 15 minutes before using it.

What to do if the watch is unresponsive or won't turn on?

05 Charging the Watch

(1) Use only Xplora authorised magnetic charging cable.
(2) Connect the magnetic charger as shown below.
(3) Charge for the watch more than 15 minutes from empty before use. Please use an output voltage of 5V and and a current of above 500mA .

Activation procedure for X5 Play

(1) Ensure the SIM has sufficient voice and data allowance.
(2) If necessary, charge the watch.
(3) Open Xplora App and create your guardian account if using for the first time.
(4) From the watch, click "QR code" menu in Setting menu.
(5) From the App, scan the QR code shown on the watch screen.

(6) Provide your child's profile information as well as the phone number of the watch.
(7) Follow the instruction to complete the activation on the App.
