How to activate my Xplora XGO2?

Ensure the SIM card is active with voice and data, charge the watch, open the Xplora app, create a guardian account, then scan the QR code displayed in the watch settings. Follow the instructions in the app to complete activation.

What type of SIM card to use?

The XGO2 only accepts Nano-SIM size SIM cards. Remove the SIM card's PIN code before inserting.

How to install the SIM card?

Use the provided screwdriver to open the cover, insert the Nano-SIM into the dedicated slot, then close. Use the removal pin if necessary.

How to charge the watch?

Connect the provided magnetic charging cable to the charging port on the back of the watch. Use a 5V power adapter with a current of at least 500 mA. Charge the watch for more than 15 minutes after complete power off.

How to use the SOS function?

After pairing the watch with the app, press and hold the main button for 5 seconds to trigger an SOS call. Before pairing, the same button is used to turn the watch on/off.

How to reset the watch?

If the watch is not working properly, press and hold the Reset button (located next to the main button) for more than 10 seconds to restore factory settings.

Which app to download?

Download the Xplora app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Make sure to choose the correct app for your XGO2 model.

What to do if the watch does not turn on?

Charge the watch for at least 15 minutes, then press and hold the main button for 10 seconds. If the problem persists, perform a reset using the Reset button.

Power / SOS / Return Button

(1) Press and hold for 10 secs to turn the watch on.
(2) If the watch is not paired with the Xplora App, press and hold the button for 10 secs or choose "Power Off" under Setting menu to turn the watch off.
(3) If the watch is paired with the Xplora App, press and hold the button for 5 secs to initiate the SOS function. "Power off" will be under Setting menu.
(4) Short press the button to turn the screen on and off, or to return to the home menu.

Reset Button

If the watch is not working, press the Reset Button for more than 10 sec to perform a hard-reset.

(1) Use only Xplora authorised magnetic charging cable.
(2) Connect the magnetic charger as shown.
(3) Charge for the watch more than 15 minutes from empty before use. Please use an output voltage of 5V and a current of above 500mA.

Activation procedure for XGO2

(1) Ensure the SIM has sufficient voice and data allowance.
(2) If necessary, charge the watch.
(3) Open Xplora App and create your guardian account if using for the first time.
(4) From the watch, click "QR code" menu in Setting menu.
(5) From the App, scan the QR code shown on the watch screen.

(6) Provide your child's profile information as well as the phone number of the watch.
(7) Follow the instructions to complete the activation on the App.
