The wet and dry vacuum cleaner is designed for wet and dry vacuuming using the appropriate lter. The appliance is not suitable for the vacuuming of com- bustible, explosive or harmful substances. The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this. Please note that our equipment has not been de- signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial appli- cations. Our warranty will be voided if the equipment is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

  • The appliance may only be connected to alternat- ing current. The voltage must correspond with the type plate on the appliance.
  • Never touch the mains plug and the socket with wet hands.
  • Do not pull the plug from the socket by pulling on the connecting cable.
  • Check the power cord with mains plug for damage before every use. To avoid risks, arrange imme- diately the exchange by an authorized customer service or a skilled electrician, if the power cord is damaged.
  • To avoid accidents due to electrical faults we rec- ommend the use of sockets with a line-side cur- rent-limiting circuit breaker (max. 30 mA nominal tripping current).
  • Turn off the appliance and remove the mains plug prior to any care and maintenance work.
  • Repair works may only be performed by the au- thorised customer service.

Installing the paper lter bag (14) (g. 3, 8) It is recommended to use an additional paper lter bag (14) when vacuuming ne, dry dirt. Slide the paper lter bag (14) over the suction opening in the stainless steel container (7). The paper lter bag (14) is only suitable for dry vacuuming. The paper lter bag (14) makes it easier to dispose of the dust col- lected. Installing the suction hose (12) (g. 3, 9, 10) Connect the suction hose (12) to the corresponding port, depending on the desired use, on the wet and dry vacuum. Vacuuming: Connect the suction hose (12) to the suction hose port (8). Blowing: Connect the suction hose (12) to the suction hose port (10). Installing the plastic extension tubes (17), suction hose (12) and oor nozzle (16) (g. 3, 11) Connect the assembled plastic extension tubes (17) with the bent end of the suction hose (12). Fit the oor nozzle (16) to the other end of the as- sembled plastic extension tubes. The bent end of the suction hose (12) can be used as a joint nozzle.

m WARNING! Switch the device off if liquid or foam emerges with the exhaust air during wet vacuuming. Switching on/off (g. 12) The on/off switch (9) has two settings

  • Switch setting 0: Off

Switch setting 0: Off Dry vacuuming (g. 3, 7, 8) Use the folded lter (15) for dry vacuuming. The pa- per lter bag (14) can be used in addition. This en- sures that the folded lter (15) remains free of dust for longer and maintains the vacuum power for longer. In addition, the disposal of the dust is also easier. The electrical motor installed is connected and ready for operation. The connection complies with the ap- plicable VDE and DIN provisions. The customer‘s mains connection as well as the extension cable used must also comply with these regulations. Important information In the event of an overloading the motor will switch itself off. After a cool-down period (time varies) the motor can be switched back on again. Damaged electrical connection cable The insulation on electrical connection cables is of- ten damaged. This may have the following causes:

  • Passage points, where connection cables are passed through windows or doors.
  • Kinks where the connection cable has been im- properly fastened or routed.
  • Places where the connection cables have been cut due to being driven over.
  • Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall outlet.
  • Cracks due to the insulation ageing. Such damaged electrical connection cables must not be used and are life-threatening due to the insula- tion damage. Check the electrical connection cables for damage regularly. Make sure that the connection cable does not hang on the power network during the inspection. Electrical connection cables must comply with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions. Only use con- nection cables with the marking „H05VV-F“. Connections and repairs of electrical equipment may only be carried out by an electrician. m IMPORTANT! The device is not suitable for vacuuming ammable liquids. For wet vacuuming, use the only the foam l- ter (13) provided. To remove the liquid vacuumed up from the stainless steel container, take off the ma- chine head (2) by releasing the locking hooks (4) from the stainless steel container (7). Pour out the liquid residue.

9. Maintenance and cleaning

m WARNING! Prior to any adjustment, maintenance or service work disconnect the mains power plug! Cleaning It is recommended to clean the device after each use. Do not spray the device with water or clean it under running water. This can result in electric shocks and can damage the device. To remove residual liquid, take off the machine head (2) by releasing the locking hooks (4) from the stain- less steel container (7). Pour out the liquid residue. Clean the container with a damp cloth.

  • Replace paper lter bag when full
  • Always keep the device clean. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
  • Keep the ventilation slots clean and free of dirt and dust.
  • Clean the device only with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
