Note that electromagnetic radiation may occur in the vicinity of the computer, telephone, radio and TV, which may interfere with the reception of the DCF77 radio signal. Other sources of interference for the reception of the DCF77 radio signal can be strong building insulation (metallic components), high mountains or atmospheric interference. Replace the batteries if necessary.
Manual adjustment

Check the labelling on the packaging materials when separating waste — they are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning:
1-7:Plastics
20-22: Paper and cardboard
80-98: Composites

Disposal of the electrical appliance
The symbol with the crossed-out waste container means that electric and electronic devices must not be disposed of in the household waste. Consumers are obligated by law to dispose of obsolete electric and electronic devices separately from
unsorted household waste. This ensures environmentally friendly and resource-saving recycling. Batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed in electric or electronic devices and can be removed without destruction must be separated from such devices before disposal at a designated site and disposed of properly. The same applies to illuminants that can be removed from the device without destroying it. Electric and electronic devices from private households can be dropped off at the collection points of the public waste disposal companies or at the collection points established by the manufacturers or distributors. The return of obsolete devices is free of charge. This free take-back obligation applies for store purchases and deliveries to your home address. The place of performance of the take-back obligation is the same as the place of performance of the delivery. Transport costs may not be charged for devices that are taken back. Generally, distributors are obligated to ensure the free-of-charge take-back of obsolete devices by means of suitable take-back sites at a reasonable distance. Consumers have the possibility to return obsolete devices free of charge to a distributor obligated to take back such devices if they purchase a new device of equal value with essentially the same functions. This option also applies for home deliveries. In the case of distance selling, the option to have obsolete devices collected free of charge is limited to heat exchangers, monitors and large devices with at least one outer

edge longer than 50~cm when purchasing a new device. The distributor has to ask the consumer whether they want to return an obsolete device at the time the sales contract is concluded. Apart from this, consumers can drop off up to three obsolete devices of the same device type at a supplier collection point free of charge without having to purchase a new device. However, the edge lengths of the respective devices must not exceed 25~cm .
Remove the battery without destroying it before disposal and dispose of it separately (see Disposal of batteries).
Disposal of batteries
The adjacent symbol means that batteries and accumulators must
not be disposed of together with household waste. Defective or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accor
dance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Con
sumers are legally obliged to remove all batteries and accumulators, regardless of whether they contain harmful substances, such as:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead, Li = lithium or not, at a collection point in their municipality/district or in the trade, so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and recovered from valuable raw materials such as cobalt, nickel or copper. The return of batteries and rechargeable batteries is free of charge.

WARNING! Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!
Some of the possible components such as mercury, cadmium and lead are toxic and endanger the environment if disposed of improperly. Heavy metals, for example, can have adverse health effects on humans, animals and plants and accumulate in the environment and in the food chain in order to then enter the body indirectly through food.

WARNING! Danger of explosion!
There is a high risk of fire with lithium-containing used batteries (Li = lithium). Therefore, special attention must be paid to the proper disposal of lithium-containing old batteries and rechargeable batteries. Incorrect disposal can also lead to internal and external short circuits due to thermal effects (heat) or mechanical damage. A short circuit can lead
to a fire or explosion and have serious consequences for people and the environment. Therefore, in the case of lithium-containing batteries and rechargeable batteries, seal the poles before disposal to avoid an external short circuit. Batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed in the device must be removed before disposal and disposed of separately. Please only return batteries and rechargeable batteries when discharged! If possible, use rechargeable batteries instead of disposable batteries.
