_ FEATURES OF YOUR iKOAL BOOSTER SEAT WITH BACKREST The iKOAL booster seat has been designed with the latest advances in safety and comfort:

• The height of the shoulder belts can be adjusted without having to remove the belt. This action is connected to the headrest which provides better protection in the event of side impact while supporting the head. It has 7 height positions.

• The inside of the seat is covered with shock absorbing material.

• The seat can be reclined.

1a To unfold the seat, press the locking button (10) on the back of the seat. 1b Open the sides of the headrest. FOR USERS OF 100 to 105 cm 1c For safety reasons, when the child is between 100 and 105 cm tall, the seat must be fitted with a cushion inserted into the headrest and another beneath the seat part. This set-up comes as standard, when the child is taller than 105 cm, remove both cushion inserts.

_ INSTALLATION WITHOUT ISOFIX ANCHORS

2a If you decide to install the iKOAL booster seat with backrest without the ISOFIX anchors, you simply need to position it on the vehicle seat.

WARNING: Even if it is not occupied, the booster seat should be fastened securely with

the seat belt, as in the event of sudden braking or an accident it could get flung about and cause injury to the other people travelling in the car. IM 2263,00_iKOAL INTERIOR_esp1 ok.indd 14 19/7/21 15:3215

The booster seat with backrest can be fastened with the ISOFIX anchors, thereby providing greater lateral stability. 3a The ISOFIX anchors (4) are automatically extracted by pulling the front lever (7). 3b Guide the anchors towards the anchor points in your car and press them until both sides are locked, 3c Two green signals on the sides of the anchors (4b) will indicate that they are locked into place. 4a The height of the backrest is adjusted using the handle found on the back of the headrest (8). To release it, pull the button upwards, when released, the headrest will lock into the nearest position. 4b Insert the shoulder belt of your car through the guide on the side of the backrest (5). Place the child in the booster seat, and adjust the height with the handle (8). The seat belt should be slightly above the child’s shoulder.

_ PLACING THE CHILD IN THE SEAT

5a Place the child in the booster seat and insert the vehicle shoulder belt through the guide on the side of the backrest (5). 5b Pass the seat belt over the child and fasten the buckle. 5c Lastly, pass the belts through both lower belt guides (6). When getting the child out of the booster seat it is not necessary to remove the belt from the guide on the backrest (5), this will make it easier to fasten the child in when they use the booster seat again.

WARNING: Even if it is not occupied, the booster seat should be fastened securely with

the seat belt, as in the event of sudden braking or an accident it could get flung about and cause injury to the other people travelling in the car. 5d To remove the booster seat: Release the ISOFIX anchors by pressing buttons 4a and 4b. simultaneously. The signals on the side (4b) will turn red. Remove the booster seat. Pull the lever (7) if you want to store the ISOFIX anchors (4) inside the base.

_ RECLINING THE SEAT

The iKOAL reclines using a lever found on the front of the seat (7). It is only possible to recline the seat when it has been installed with ISOFIX.

WARNING: This action requires the vehicle 3-point seat belt to be adjusted, make sure the

7a To fold the seat, fold the sides of the headrest inwards. 7b To achieve the most compact size, adjust the height of the backrest to its lowest position. Make sure you put it back to the correct height for the child the next time the seat is used. 7c Fold the backrest by pressing the locking button (10) on the back. _ MAINTENANCE Do not expose the upholstery to the sun for prolonged periods. Clean the plastic parts with warm water and soap, making sure you dry all the parts thoroughly. The upholstery can be removed for washing.
