When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents!29 GB/IE This product may be used by children age 14 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capaciti es, or lacking experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be per- formed by children without supervision. Do not expose the product to weather effects. The product may otherwise be damaged. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight. Do not place it above heaters. The product‘s wax may otherwise soften and lose its shape, resulting in malfunctions. This product is not suitable for children under 14 years. This product is a decorative product, not a toy. The product must be set up outside the reach of children. The LEDs are not replaceable. THE REACH OF CHILDREN! Swallowing batteries can cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of swallowing batteries. Seek imme- diate medical attention. The remote control supplied with this product also contains a coin / button cell battery. DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention. Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargea- ble batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result. Never throw batteries / rechargeable batter- ies into fire or water.31 GB/IE Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries. Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batter- ies / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight. If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention! WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. In the event of a leakage of batteries / re- chargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage. Only use the same type of batteries / re- chargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.32 GB/IE Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period. Risk of damage of the product Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery! Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries ac- cording to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product. Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery / recharge- able battery and in the battery compartment before inserting! Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately. Before use Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Note: Remove the protect film before setting up the product. The batteries are already installed on delivery.33 GB/IE Pull the insulating strips out of the battery compartments

Your product is now ready for use. Start-up The switch

is located next to the battery compartment

to switch on the timer function. The product’s light glows perma- nently for 6 hours and will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again at its designated turn on time for 6 hours followed by a sub- sequent pause of 18 hours. Inserting / replacing the batteries (fig. B) Real wax LED candle: If the brightness of the LEDs diminish the batteries are drained and must be replaced. Slide the switch

If applicable, remove the old batteries from the battery compartment

and insert new35 GB/IE batteries. Only use batteries of the type spec- ified under Technical Data in these instructions for use. When inserting the batteries ensure th

correct polarity. This is shown in the battery compartment

Close the battery compartment

The product is now ready for use. Remote control: If the Real wax LED candle

does not re- spond to the remote control

, the battery is drained and must be replaced. Slide the switch

from the remote control. If applicable, remove the old battery from the battery compartment (remote control)

and insert a new battery. Only use a battery of the type specified under “Technical data” in these instructions for use. When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity. This is shown on the rear side of the remote control

into the OFF position and remove the batteries before cleaning the real wax LED candle

and the remote control

Clean the product and the remote control

with a feather duster. Do not immerse in water. Replace the batteries after cleaning. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
