How to turn on the LED candle?

Toggle the switch under the candle to the ON position. You can also use the ON button on the remote control after setting the switch to ON.

How to use the remote control timer?

Press the 6H button on the remote control. The LEDs stay on for 6 hours, then off for 18 hours, and this cycle repeats automatically.

How to replace the candle batteries?

Set the switch to OFF. Open the battery compartment by pulling on the cover. Replace used batteries with new LR6 (AA) batteries, observing polarity. Close the compartment.

How to replace the remote control battery?

Set the candle switch to OFF. Remove the battery compartment drawer from the remote control. Replace the used battery with a new CR2025 battery, observing polarity. Reinsert the drawer.

What to do if the candle no longer responds to the remote control?

First check that the candle switch is in the ON position. If the problem persists, the remote control battery may be used up: replace it with a new CR2025 battery.

Can I use this product outdoors?

No, the product is exclusively designed for indoor use in a dry place. Do not expose it to weather.

How to clean the LED candle?

General safety instructions

Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use! When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents!

This product may be used by children age 14 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

Do not expose the product to weather effects. The product may otherwise be damaged.

Do not expose the product to direct sunlight. Do not place it above heaters. The product's wax may otherwise soften and lose its shape, resulting in malfunctions.

This product is not suitable for children under 14 years. This product is a decorative product, not a toy. The product must be set up outside the reach of children.

The LEDs are not replaceable. IftheLEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced.

Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries

P BATTERIES OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN!

Swallowing batteries can cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of swallowing batteries. Seek immediate medical attention.

The remote control supplied with this product also contains a coin / button cell battery.

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/ rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION!

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/ direct sunlight.

If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE

GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries/rechargeable batteries.

Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting!
Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

The batteries are already installed on delivery.

Pull the insulating strips out of the battery compartments 4, 10.

Your product is now ready for use.

- Start-up

The switch 5 is located next to the battery compartment 4 (fig. B).

Slide the switch to the ON position to switch on the product. The LED(s) 2 will flicker slightly to simulate a candle.
Slide the switch to the OFF position to switch the product off.

Using the remote control

Note: Please slide the switch 5 to the ON position before using the remote control 6. The remote control 6 has three functions:

Remote control ON

Press the ON button to switch on the product. The LED(s) 2 will flicker slightly to simulate a candle.

Remote control OFF

Press the OFF button to switch the product off.

Remote control TIMER

Press the 6H butter to switch on the timer function. The product's light glows permanently for 6 hours and will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again at its designated turn on time for 6 hours followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours.

Inserting/replacing the batteries (fig. B)

Real wax LED candle:

If the brightness of the LEDs diminish the batteries are drained and must be replaced.

Slide the switch on the underside of the real wax LED candle 1 to the OFF position (fig. B).

Pull on the battery compartment cover handle and open the battery compartment 4.

If applicable, remove the old batteries from the battery compartment 4 and insert new

batteries. Only use batteries of the type specified under Technical Data in these instructions for use. When inserting the batteries ensure the correct polarity. This is shown in the battery compartment 4.

Close the battery compartment.

The product is now ready for use.

Remote control:

If the Real wax LED candle does not respond to the remote control, the battery is drained and must be replaced.
Slide the switch 5 to the OFF position (fig. B).
Push the battery compartment (Remote control) 10 handle slide out the battery compartment (remote control) 10 from the remote control.
If applicable, remove the old battery from the battery compartment (remote control) [10] and insert a new battery. Only use a battery of the type specified under "Technical data" in these instructions for use. When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity.

This is shown on the rear side of the remote control 6.

Slide the battery compartment (remote control) 10 back into the remote control 6. The remote control 6 is now ready for use.
Note: When you press the ON button 7 and 6H button 8, the LEDs flash briefly.

Cleaning and care

Slide the switch into the OFF position and remove the batteries before cleaning the real wax LED candle 1 and the remote control 6.
Clean the product and the remote control with a feather duster.
Do not immerse in water.
Replace the batteries after cleaning.

- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following

meaning: 1-7: plastics/20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on

the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
