How do I use the adapter as a transmitter to send sound to a Bluetooth headset?
Connect the audio source (e.g., TV) to the AUX port of the adapter with the jack cable. Set the switch to TX mode. Turn on your Bluetooth headset in pairing mode. Press the multifunction button on the adapter twice. The connection is established automatically.
What should I do if the adapter does not connect automatically after the first pairing?
Check that the adapter and device are powered on and within 10 meters. In your device's Bluetooth settings, ensure 'Hama BT Transceiver' is connected. If not, repeat the pairing procedure described in the manual.
How do I reset the list of paired devices?
Turn off the adapter. After 3 seconds, flip the switch to the other mode (from TX to RX or vice versa), then turn the adapter back on. All paired devices will be deleted.
How do I know if the battery is low?
The status LED flashes red when the battery is low. Recharge the adapter via the micro USB port with a suitable charger (5 V). Charging time is about 1 hour.
What is the battery life of the adapter in receiver mode?
The battery life in receiver mode (RX) is approximately 12 hours after a full charge. In transmitter mode (TX), it is approximately 13 hours.
Can I use the adapter with a jack cable without Bluetooth?
No, the adapter requires a Bluetooth connection to transmit or receive sound. The jack cable is used to connect an audio source (in TX mode) or an audio device (in RX mode).
Is the adapter compatible with all Bluetooth devices?
It is compatible with most Bluetooth devices supporting the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). The maximum range is 10 meters in open field.
How do I clean the adapter?
Use a slightly damp lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive products. Avoid moisture entering the ports.
What should I do if the adapter does not turn on?
