Safety, performance, and dependability have been given top priority in the design of your cordless pole hedge trimmer.
INTENDED USE
The product is only intended for outdoor use by a single operator who is standing on firm solid ground. For safety reasons, the product must be adequately controlled by using two-handed operation.
The product is designed for home or domestic use. It is intended to cut and trim hedges, shrubs, and similar vegetation. The product is designed to be extended to a maximum length of 2.93 m. Do not exceed this working length.
It should be used in dry, well-illuminated conditions.
It is not intended to cut grass, trees, or branches. It should not be used for any other purpose than hedge trimming.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts. If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
- Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
- Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
- Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
- Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control. Use the power tool, accessories, and tool bits, etc., in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
SERVICE
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
POLE HEDGE TRIMMER SAFETY WARNINGS
- Keep all parts of the body away from the cutter blades. A moment of inattention while operating the product may result in serious personal injury.
- Carry the pole hedge trimmer by the handle with the cutter blade stopped. When transporting or storing the pole hedge trimmer, always fit the cutting device cover. Proper handling of the pole hedge trimmer will reduce possible personal injury from the cutter blades. Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces only, because the cutter blade may contact hidden wiring. Cutter blades contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
- Clear the work area before each use. Remove all objects such as cords, lights, wire, or string which can be thrown or become entangled in the cutting means.
- Beware of thrown objects; keep all bystanders, children, and pets at least 15 m away from the work area.
- Check constantly for persons or animals behind or inside any hedge or bush you intend to trim.
- Do not operate in poor lighting. The operator requires a clear view of the work area to identify potential hazards. Inspect the machine before each use. Check for loose fasteners, etc. Make sure all guards and handles are properly and securely attached. Replace any damaged parts before use.
Do not modify the product in any way. Do not allow children or untrained individuals to use this unit. Wear full eye and hearing protection while operating the product. If working in an area where there is a risk of falling objects, head protection must be worn. Wear heavy long trousers, boots, and gloves. Do not wear loose fitting clothing, short trousers, jewellery of any kind, or use with bare feet. Secure long hair so it is above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts. Do not use the product when you are tired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication. Keep firm footing and balance. Do not overreach. Overreaching can result in loss of balance and can result in serious injury. Before starting the product, make sure the cutting blades will not come in contact with anything. Ensure that the product is correctly located in a designated working position before starting the product. While operating the pole hedge trimmer, always hold it firmly with both hands by the two handles and ensure that the operating position is safe and secure. The manufacturer does not recommend the use of steps or ladders. Use the harness if it is supplied with your pole hedge trimmer. It will assist you to support the weight of the product during use and whilst moving between trimming positions. Carefully adjust the harness to fit comfortably. Identify the quick release mechanism and practice using it before you start using the product. Its correct use may prevent serious injury in the case of an emergency. Never wear additional clothing over the harness or otherwise restrict access to the quick release mechanism. To protect yourself from electrocution, do not operate within 10 m of overhead electrical lines. Never use the pole hedge trimmer near fencing, posts, buildings, or other immovable objects. Blades are sharp. When handling the blade assembly, wear non-slip, heavy-duty protective gloves. Do not place your hand or fingers between blades or in any position where they could get pinched or cut. Never touch blade or service unit unless the battery pack is
removed.
Switch off and remove the battery pack before:
- adjusting the working position of the cutting device
- cleaning or clearing a blockage
- leaving the product unattended
- checking, maintenance or working on the product.
- Do not force the pole hedge trimmer through heavy shrubbery. This can cause the blades to bind and slow down. If the blades slow down, reduce the pace.
- Do not attempt to cut stems or twigs that are larger than 18 mm thick, or those obviously too large to feed into the cutting blade. Use a non-powered hand saw or pruning saw to trim large stems. Use of hearing protection reduces the ability to hear warnings (shouts or alarms). The operator must pay extra attention to what is going on in the working area.
- Do not operate the pole hedge trimmer with damaged or excessively worn blades. Always be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for possible hazards that you may not hear due to the noise of the product.
WARNING
If the product is dropped, suffers heavy impact or begins to vibrate abnormally, immediately stop the product and inspect for damage or identify the cause of the vibration. Any damage should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised service centre.

Check that all the shaft couplings on the extension pole and tool are securely fastened before each use and at frequent intervals.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
- Stop the product, remove the battery and allow both to cool before storing or transporting. Clean all foreign material from the product. Store it in a cool dry and well-ventilated place that is inaccessible to children. For extra safety, store the battery separately from the product. Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts. Do not store outdoors.
- Cover the blade with the blade protector before storing the unit, or during transportation. For transportation, secure the product against movement or falling to prevent injury to persons or damage to the product.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Use only original manufacturer's replacement parts, accessories and attachments. Failure to do so can cause possible injury, poor performance and may void your warranty.
WARNING
Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge and should be performed only by a qualified service technician. For service we suggest you return the product to your nearest authorised service centre for repair. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
WARNING
The blades are sharp. To prevent personal injury, exercise extreme caution when cleaning, lubricating and fitting or removing the blade protector.
- Remove the battery before conducting any maintenance or cleaning work.
- You may only make adjustments or repairs described in this manual. For other repairs, contact the authorised service agent. After each use, clean the body and handles of the product with a soft dry cloth. After each use, clean the debris from the blades with a stiff brush, and then carefully apply a rust preventative lubricant before refitting the blade protector. Use the recommended rust preventative and lubricant spray. Take care to avoid contact with the blade when applying an even distribution of the lubricant. For information about suitable spray product check with your local authorised service centre.
- You may wish to lubricate the blades lightly before use if necessary using the above method.
- Check all nuts, bolts and screws at frequent intervals for proper tightness to ensure the product is in safe working condition. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised service centre.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Even when the product is used as prescribed, it is still impossible to completely eliminate certain residual risk factors. The following hazards may arise in use and the operator should pay special attention to avoid the following:
The blades cannot be guarded whilst cutting. Contact with the blades can cause serious injury. Keep the blade away from yourself and others. Cover it with the blade protector whenever you are not cutting. - Injury caused by vibration. Always use the right tool for the job, use designated handles and restrict working time and exposure.
Exposure to noise can cause hearing injury. Wear ear protection and limit exposure.
RISK REDUCTION
It has been reported that vibrations from handheld tools may contribute to a condition called Raynaud's Syndrome in certain individuals. Symptoms may include tingling, numbness and blanching of the fingers, usually apparent upon exposure to cold. Hereditary factors, exposure to cold and dampness, diet, smoking and work practices are all thought to contribute to the development of these symptoms. There are measures that can be taken by the operator to possibly reduce the effects of vibration:
- Keep your body warm in cold weather. When operating the unit wear gloves to keep the hands and wrists warm. It is reported that cold weather is a major factor contributing to Raynaud's Syndrome. After each period of operation, exercise to increase blood circulation. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.
If you experience any of the symptoms of this condition, immediately discontinue use and see your doctor about these symptoms.
WARNING
Injuries may be caused, or aggravated, by prolonged use of a tool. When using any tool for prolonged periods, ensure you take regular breaks.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR PLANER KNIFE SHARPENING
Keep the cutting blade at a safe distance from body parts. Even a moment of inattention while operating the tool may
lead to serious injury.
Carry the planer knife sharpener by the handle with the switch off. Always fit the protective guard on the cutting part when transporting or storing the planer knife sharpener. Proper handling of the planer knife sharpener will reduce the risk of injury from the sharp blades. Hold the power tool only by the insulated gripping surfaces, because the cutter may contact hidden wiring. If the cutting blade contacts a live wire, the metal parts of the tool may become live and could give the operator an electric shock.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the device, check the work area. Make sure that objects such as wires or cords that could trip or get caught in the equipment are removed. Beware of flying objects; do not allow people, children, or pets closer than 15 m from the work area. Constantly check for people or animals behind or inside the fence or bushes that you are about to cut. Do not work in insufficient lighting. The operator must clearly see the work area to identify potential hazards. Check the device before each use. Check the reliability of the fastenings; make sure that all protective devices and handles are correctly and securely attached. Replace damaged parts before use. It is forbidden to modify the device's construction in any way. Do not allow children or untrained persons to use the device. Use reliable protective equipment for eyes and hearing when working with the product. When working in an area where there is a risk of falling objects, a protective helmet must be worn. Work in thick long trousers, boots, and gloves. Wearing overly loose clothing, short trousers, or jewelry is not allowed. Working barefoot is prohibited. To avoid hair getting caught in rotating parts, secure long hair so that it does not hang below the shoulders. Do not work with this tool if you are tired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication. Keep your footing and balance. Do not overreach. Before starting the device, make sure that the cutting blades do not come into contact with anything. Before starting the tool, set it to the correct working position. During operation of the hedge trimmer, always hold it firmly with both hands on the two handles and make sure that the working position is stable and safe. The manufacturer does not recommend using ladders or steps. Use a work platform if it is supplied with your hedge trimmer. This will also help to support the weight of the device during use and when moving between cutting positions. Carefully adjust the platform so that it is comfortable. Find the quick release mechanism and test it before starting to use the device. Its correct use can prevent serious injuries in case of an emergency. Never wear loose clothing over the harness or in any way restrict access to the quick release mechanism. To avoid electric shock, do not work within 10 m of overhead power lines. Never use the hedge trimmer near fences, posts, buildings, or other immovable objects. The blades have sharp edges. When performing all operations with the blades, wear non-slip protective gloves. Do not allow your hands or fingers to get between the blades, and hold them in such a way that it is impossible to pinch or cut them. Never touch the blade disc and do not perform maintenance until the battery has been removed. Turn off the device and remove the battery before performing the following actions:
Adjusting the working position of the cutting device, blade sharpening or clearing jams, leaving the product unattended - inspection, maintenance and operation of the device.
Do not use dull blades for cutting thick branches. This can cause jamming and slow down the blade movement. If the blade movement slows down, reduce the working speed. Do not attempt to cut stems or branches thicker than 18 mm or those that obviously do not fit into the blade gap. For cutting large stems, use a hand saw or pruning saw. The use of hearing protection reduces the ability to hear warnings (shouts or signals). The operator must
pay increased attention to what is happening in the work area.
Do not use the hedge trimmer with damaged or excessively worn blades. Never forget about the surrounding environment and be aware of potential dangers that you may not notice due to the noise made by the tool during operation.

If the device is dropped, makes unusual noises or vibrates excessively, stop the device immediately and check for damage or find the cause of vibration. Any damaged parts must be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center.

Make sure that all couplings on the unit and the tool are securely fastened before each use and with the specified torque.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Stop the device, remove the battery and let it cool down before storage or transport. Clean the device of all foreign materials. Store it in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place out of reach of children. For additional safety, store the battery separately from the device. Protect from substances that cause corrosion, such as garden fertilizers or de-icing salts. Put the protective cover on the cutting blade before storing or transporting the device. When transporting, secure the device so that it cannot move or fall, to avoid injury to personnel or damage to the device.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Use only original spare parts, accessories, and attachments from the manufacturer. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to injury, reduced performance, and voiding of the warranty.
CAUTION
Maintenance requires above-average knowledge and must be performed only by qualified service personnel. For maintenance, we recommend returning the device to your nearest authorized service center. When servicing, use only genuine replacement parts.
CAUTION
Blades have sharp edges. To avoid injury, handle the blade with extreme care during cleaning, lubrication, and installation or removal of the device or blade.
Remove the battery before maintenance or cleaning. You may also perform other adjustments and repair work described in this manual. For repairs, contact an authorized service center. After each use, wipe the housing with a dry cloth. After each use, clean the blade of debris with a stiff brush, then carefully apply an anti-corrosion lubricant to it before installing the protective cover for the blade. Use the recommended anti-corrosion coating and spray lubricant. Be careful not to touch the disc when applying lubricant. For information on suitable spray lubricants, contact your local authorized service center. If necessary, you can lightly lubricate the blade before operation using this method. Check all bolts, nuts, and screws at short intervals for proper tightness to ensure the device is in a safe working condition. In case of damage to any part, it is necessary to contact an authorized service center for proper repair or replacement.
ALWAYS BE CAREFUL
Even when using this tool as intended, it is impossible to completely eliminate residual risk factors. During operation, the following situations may arise, to which the user must pay special attention to avoid problems:

Use the harness if the brush cutter is equipped with one. This will help you support the weight of the product while working and when moving between different positions.

This mechanism is for quick release and proper use of it, before you forget to work with the machine. Proper use of this mechanism can prevent serious injury or cause an emergency situation. Never wear loose clothing or a lanyard for keys, because this blocks access to the quick release mechanism. To protect against electric shock, do not work with the machine closer than 10 meters from overhead electric cables. Never use the hedge trimmer near fences, posts, walls, or other immovable objects. You must be familiar with the surrounding environment and be aware of potential hazards that may not be audible due to the noise from the machine.
MAINTENANCE
If the machine is dropped, suffers a heavy impact, or begins to vibrate abnormally, immediately turn it off and check for damage or determine the source of the vibration. Repairs or replacement of parts or damage must be carried out by an authorized service center.

The manufacturer does not recommend using the trimmer on slopes or stairs. Use the trimmer only as intended, as described in the manual. This will help you maintain control of the trimmer during use and move between cutting positions. Carefully adjust the trimmer so that it is easy to operate. Familiarize yourself with the mechanism of the cutting head and practice using it before using the product. Its correct use can prevent serious injuries in case of an emergency. Never wear loose clothing or in any way obstruct access to the cutting head mechanism. To protect yourself from electric shock, do not work within 10 m of overhead power lines. Never use the trimmer near fences, posts, buildings, or other stationary objects. The blade is very sharp. When servicing the blade, always wear non-slip, protective gloves. Do not place your hand or fingers between the blades or in any position where they could be pinched or caught. Never touch the blade or service the device unless the motor has been switched off. Switch off and remove the battery before:
adjusting the working position of the cutting device, or if you need to clear a blockage from the product without tilting it - inspection, maintenance, or work on the blade.
Do not operate the trimmer on a mirror through a strong impact. This can cause contamination and breakage. If it breaks, change the temperature. Do not attempt to cut stems or branches larger than 18 mm, or those that are obviously too large for the tool. Use a cutting blade without teeth or a knife for cutting large branches. Using hearing protection reduces the ability to hear warnings (cries or alarm signals). The operator must pay special attention to what is happening in the work area. Do not use the trimmer on a mirror with damaged or excessively worn blades. Always be aware of your surroundings and be prepared for possible hazards that you cannot perceive through the product.
WARNING
If the product is dropped, suffered a heavy impact, or started vibrating, immediately stop the device and check for damage or determine the cause of the vibration. Any damaged part must be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center.

Make sure that all guards and instruments are properly closed before each use and at regular intervals.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Turn off the product, remove the battery, and allow it to cool down before storing or transporting. Clean all foreign materials from the product. Store it in a dry, ventilated place, inaccessible to children. For additional safety, store the battery separately from the product. Keep away from aggressive agents such as chemicals and salt. Do not store on an open surface. Cover the blade with the blade protector before storing or transporting. For transportation, secure the machine to prevent it from moving or causing injury or damage.
MAINTENANCE

Use only original spare parts, accessories, and equipment from the manufacturer. Failure to comply may result in injury, poor product performance, and may void the warranty.
WARNING
Maintenance requires extreme care and knowledge and should be performed only by qualified personnel. For maintenance, we recommend returning the product to the nearest authorized service center for repair. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
WARNING
The blade is very sharp. To avoid injury, exercise extreme caution when cleaning, sharpening, installing, or removing the blade protector.
You can perform the maintenance and repairs described in this user manual. For other repair work, contact an authorized service agent. After each use, clean the main body of the product with a dry cloth. After each use, clean the blade with a short brush, then carefully apply blade oil using the blade protector device. Use the recommended spray to protect against rust and wear. Make sure to avoid contact with the blade when applying and evenly distributing the oil. For information on aerosol products, contact your local authorized service center. You may slightly dull the blade before use if necessary, using the method described above. Check all seals, bolts, and screws after a short period of use for proper tightness to ensure the product is in a safe working condition. RESIDUAL RISKS

The blade cannot be protected during cutting. Contact with the blade can cause serious injury. Keep the blade away from yourself and others. Engage the blade guard when you are not cutting. Injuries caused by vibration: use the correct tool, use the designated handles and limit working time. Noise can cause hearing damage. Use hearing protection and limit exposure.
RISK REDUCTION
It has been established that vibrations from handheld tools may contribute to a condition called Raynaud's syndrome. Symptoms may include tingling, numbness, and blanching of the fingers, usually upon exposure to cold. Hereditary factors, exposure to cold and humidity, diet, smoking, and work practices all contribute to the development of these symptoms. The following measures can be taken by the operator to possibly reduce the effects:
Keep your body warm in cold weather. When operating the device, wear gloves to keep your hands and wrists warm. It has been reported that cold weather is a major factor contributing to Raynaud's syndrome. After each work period, perform exercises to increase blood circulation. Take frequent breaks from work. Limit the number of cuts per day.
If you experience any of the symptoms of this condition, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor about these symptoms.
TRANSPORTATION
Prolonged use of the tool may cause or worsen injuries. Take regular breaks during prolonged use of the tool.

The declared vibration value has been measured with a standard test method and may be used to compare one tool with another.
The declared vibration value may be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure. The vibration emission during actual use of power tool can differ from the declared total value depending on the ways in which the tool is used.
Identify safety measures to protect yourself based on an estimation of exposure in the actual conditions of use, taking account of all parts of the operating cycle such as the times when the tool is switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the trigger time.
In addition to any statutory rights resulting from the purchase, this product is covered by a guarantee as stated below.
- The guarantee period is 24 months for consumers and commences on the date when the product was purchased. This date has to be documented by an invoice or other proof of purchase. The product is designed and dedicated to consumer and private use only. So there is no guarantee provided in case of professional or commercial use.
- There is, in some cases (i.e. promotion, range of tools), a possibility to extend the warranty period over the period described above using the registration on the www.ryobotools.eu website. The eligibility of the tool is clearly displayed in stores and/or on packaging. The end user needs to register his/her newly-acquired tools online within 8 days from the date of purchase. The end user may register for the extended warranty in his country of residence if listed on the online registration form where this option is valid. Furthermore, end users must give their consent to the storage of the data which are required to enter online and they have to accept the terms and conditions. The registration confirmation receipt which is sent out by e-mail, and the original invoice showing the date of purchase will serve as proof of the extended warranty. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
- The guarantee covers all defects of the product during the warranty period due to defaults in workmanship or material at the purchase date. The guarantee is limited to repair and/or replacement and does not include any other obligations including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages. The warranty is not valid if the product has been misused, used contrary to the instruction manual, or being incorrectly connected. This guarantee does not apply to
any damage to the product that is the result of improper maintenance any product that has been altered or modified
any product where original identification (trade mark, serial number) markings have been defaced, altered or removed
any damage caused by non-observance of the instruction manual
any non CE product
- any product which has been attempted to be repaired by a nonqualified professional or without prior authorization by Techtronic Industries
- any product connected to improper power supply (amps, voltage, frequency)
any product used with inappropriate fuel mixture (fuel, oil, percentage of oil)
any damage caused by external influences (chemical, physical, shocks) or foreign substances
- normal wear and tear of spare parts - inappropriate use, overloading of the tool - use of non-approved accessories or parts - carburettor after 6 months, carburettor adjustments after 6 months
components (parts and accessories) subject to natural wear and tear, including but not limited to bump knobs, drive belts, clutch, blades of hedge trimmers or lawn mowers, harness, cable throttle, carbon brushes, power cord, tines, felt washers, hitch pins, blower fans, blower and vacuum tubes, vacuum bag and straps, guide bars, saw chains, hoses, connector fittings, spray nozzles, wheels, spray wands, inner reels, outer spools, cutting lines, spark plugs, air filters, gas filters, mulching blades, etc.
- For servicing, the product must be sent or presented to a RYOBI authorized service station listed for each country in the following list of service station addresses. In some countries your local RYOBI dealer undertakes to send the product to the RYOBI service organisation. When sending a product to a RYOBI service station, the product should be safely packed without any dangerous contents such as petrol, marked with sender's address and accompanied by a short description of the fault.
- A repair/replacement under this guarantee is free of charge. It does not constitute an extension or a new start of the guarantee period. Exchanged parts or tools become our property. In some countries delivery charges or postage will have to be paid by the sender.
- This guarantee is valid in the European Community, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey and Russia. Outside these areas, please contact your authorized RYOBI dealer to determine if another warranty applies.
