We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

The DIGITAL ALARM CLOCK WITH QI® CHARGING STATION (hereinafter referred to as the „Product“) is an information electronics device. This product is only for charging mobile devices that use Qi technology. The product is intended for private use only and not for commercial use. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or improper use.

Before using the product, please familiarize yourself with all of the safety instructions and instructions for use! When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents!

DANGER! RISK OF SUFFOCATION! Never leave
children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. The packaging material is not a toy.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years or above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The product is not a toy.
ATTENTION! Damage to property
Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any damage to the product or the connection cable is detected!
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.
- Keep the product away from moisture, dripping and splash water!
- Do not place burning candles or other open fire on or next to the product.
If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, immediately disconnect the USB connection.
Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time before using it again to prevent short circuits!
- Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!
- Do not throw the product into fire and do not expose to high temperatures.
- Never open the product. It has no internal parts requiring maintenance.
The product must not be covered during operation, no foreign objects may be introduced into the product, no foreign objects may lie on the Qi charging surface during operation.
The product must not be charged at a PC or notebook due to the high power consumption.
ATTENTION! Radio interference
- Do not use the product on aeroplanes, in hospitals, service rooms, or near medical electronic systems. The wireless signals transmitted could impact the functionality of sensitive electronics.

Keep the product at least 20~cm from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the functionality of pacemakers.
The radio waves transmitted could cause interference in hearing aids.
Never use the product near flammable gases or potentially explosives areas (e.g. paint shops), as the radio waves emitted can cause explosions and fire.
The OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsible for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorised modification of the product. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and products not distributed by OWIM. -
The user of the product is solely responsible for rectifying malfunctions caused by unauthorized changes to the product and the replacement of such modified products.
- Before using the product, ensure that the available mains voltage corresponds with the operating voltage required for the mains supply (100 - 240 V~, 50 / 60 Hz).
- Before using the product, verify the product and the mains supply and the cable connection aren't damaged! Never operate a damaged product!
- The product must be plugged into an easily accessible socket so it can easily be unplugged in the event of an emergency.
- This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be exchanged.
- The product is only suited for use with the included mains adapter (model no. XZ0900-2500ENCG).
- To switch the product off completely, unplug the mains adapter from the socket.

Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or moisture.

Safe rechargeable bc
WARNING! Do not ingest the battery, chemical burn hazard.
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
- Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open
them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
- Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
- Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries
- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

AR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or
damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.
- Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.
Risk of damage of the product.
Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery before inserting!
- Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.

Before use
i NOTE:
Before use, verify the package contents are complete and undamaged!
All parts have to be unpacked and the packaging material has to be removed completely.
If you notice any damage or missing parts, contact the dealer who sold this product.
Remove the protective foil from the display before first use.
Operation (see fig. A)
ATTENTION! The product must not be charged at a PC or notebook due to the high power consumption.
i NOTE:
You can use mains aaptapplied, or 22.5 W USB charger for this product. (USB cable and 22.5 W USB charger are not included)
Mains power operation:
Plug the mains adapter to the mains adapter 5 into the connector socket for mains adapter 2 on the product and connect the mains adapter 5 to an easily accessible mains plug.
USB charger operation:
Plug the USB type A plug of the USB cable into the USB port on a suitable USB adapter (both not included) and plug the USB type C plug into connector socket for USB Type C input 3 of the product.
Plug the USB adapter into an easily accessible mains socket
LED indicators will light up for approx. two seconds when the product is under standby mode.
Place the mobile device on the Qi charging surface Make sure the center of the device is aligned over the center of the Qi charging surface. The Charging process starts once the mobile device is correctly placed. The LED indicator 15 lights up blue when charging is active.
Protective covers of the mobile device may interfere with the charging process. In this case, the mobile device must be removed from the protective cover.
i NOTE: The charging power is up to 10W depending on the power adapter used.
The product only supports devices with Qi wireless technology.
LED indicator 15 status
The product uses an LED indicator to show the operating status:

Charging USB devices with USB Type A output 4 CAUTION!
Ensure that the power consumption of the USB device is not higher than 1 A. For more information, refer to the instruction manual of your USB device.
Replacing the battery
CAUTION!
Use CR2032 battery types only. Failure to observe this advice may result in damage to the product.
Open the Battery compartment by turning the screw anticlockwise with a small phillips screwdriver (not included) then pull out the Battery compartment cover.
Replace with a new 3 V type CR2032 battery. The marking " ^+ " must face upwards.
Close the Battery compartment and tighten it by turning the screw clockwise with a small phillips screwdriver.
i NOTE: Saved data will be lost when changing battery without connecting the power supply unit.
Basic settings (see fig.B)
Press and hold the MODE button around 3 seconds. The hour flashes on the time display 8.
Press the Up button the Down button 13 to adjust the hour value. Pressing the MODE button 12 will confirm the setting. The minute flashes on the time display 8.
TIP: Pressing and holding the Up button 11 or the Down button 13 will quickly scan ahead or back through the numbers.
i NOTE: When no buttons are pressed for approx. 15 seconds the clock will return to standard mode.
- Briefly pressing the MODE button will confirm the setting and switch to the next option in the clock settings.
This allows you to change the following settings in sequence: Hour / Minute / Year / Month / Day / Language
Press the Up button the Down button 13 to select the desired language. You can choose between German (DE), English (GB), French (FR), Spanish (ES), Dutch (NL), Danish (DK) and Italian (IT), German (DE) is set as the standard language by default.
Setting the alarm
Press the MODE button access alarm mode. The current alarm time set and the display for the alarm mode [ALM] are shown on the weekday display 16.
Press and hold the MODE button around 3 seconds. The hour display blinks.
Press the Up button the Down button 13 to set the required value.
Press the MODE button confirm your entry. The minute display blinks.
Press the Up button the Down button 13 to set the required value.
Press the MODE button confirm your entry. The Alarm symbol 18 appears on the display and the alarm function is active.
Activate/deactivate alarm function
Press the MODE button to access alarm mode. The current alarm time set and the display for the alarm mode are shown on the display.
Press the Up button to activate the alarm function. The Alarm symbol 18 appears on the display to indicate that the alarm function is active.
Press the Up button again briefly. The Alarm symbol goes out and the alarm function is deactivated.
Press the MODE but return to basic mode.
Switching off the alarm signal
The alarm signal will sound at the set time for around 2 minutes. Press any button with the exception of the snooze / light button to switch the alarm signal off. You do not have to reactivate the alarm function. The alarm signal will automatically sound again at the set time.
Snoopze function
While the alarm is going off, press the snooze / light button 10 to activate the snooze function. The alarm is interrupted for around 5 minutes. The display for the snooze symbol 9 and the Alarm symbol 18 flashes on the display.
Background lighting
Press the snooze / light button set the background lighting brightness in four stages (high, medium, low, off).
Operation in basic mode
Time display 8
Clock format: Press the Up button to select between 24-hour format (0:00 o'clock-23:59 o'clock) and 12-hour format (1:00 o'clock-12:59 o'clock). In 12-hour mode the time from 12:00 o'clock in the afternoon until 11:59 o'clock at night will show PM (Latin for "post meridiem" = after noon) in the display.
Date display 17
Date display formant: select from MD (Month/ Date) /DM (Date/ Month) by pressing and holding the Up button [1] for 2 seconds.
Temperature display 14
The temperature measured by the product is displayed with
one decimal place. The temperature unit (^) is shown on the top right of the display.
The temperature unit can also be changed to (^) by pressing the Down button 13.
If the temperature drops below the measuring range of 0^ to 50^ (or 32^ to 122^ ), LO'' is shown; HI'' is shown if the temperature rises above this range
Troubleshooting
What should I do if the LED indicator of the product is not lit during starting process (Boot phase)?
Check the USB cable connection between USB adapter (no included) and the product. The USB cable must be firmly connected.
Check the connection between the mains socket and the US adapter (not included).
Alternatively, the user must try another mains socket.
What should I do if the mobile device does not get charging?
Check that the mobile device have Qi wireless charging technology.
Check the mobile device is placed horizontally on the cente position of the charging pad.
Check that no foreign object blocking the charging.
Check whether the mobile device is removed from the protective cover.
What should I do if the LED indicator flashes blue?
This indicates a fault condition occurred.
Disconnect the USB connection immediately.
Check that no foreign object blocking the charging.
Let the product cool down for a while and try to use it again.
Storage when not in use
Store the product in a dry interior, away from direct sunlight, preferably in its original packaging.
Cleaning
This product has no internal parts requiring maintenance. Moisture entering the product may result in damage.
Ensure no moisture enters the product during cleaning to prevent damaging the product beyond repair.
- Do not use abrasive, solvent-based or aggressive cleaners. These can damage the surface of the product.
A brush and cloth is required for cleaning the recesses on the housing cover.
To clean the display, a glasses cleaning cloth or another soft cleaning cloth is required to avoid scratches.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1 - 7: plastics / 20 - 22: paper and fibreboard / 80 - 98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

Warranty and service
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 123456_7890) available as proof of purchase.
You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving, on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
