SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.

• Do not leave the iron unattended while connected to the power supply.

• Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, shows visible damage, or is leaking.

• Unplug the appliance before lling up the water tank.

• Continuous steam at 155 g/min and 600 g/min stroke.

• Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.

• When placing the iron on its base, make sure that the surface on which the base is placed is stable.

• Unplug the appliance during lling and cleaning.

• The appliance must not be left unattended while connected to the mains.

• Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8 when it is on or cooling down.

• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specied on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.

• Caution: hot surface. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high while the appliance is in use and could cause burns. Do not touch hot surfaces during operation or immediately after.

• Be careful when using the appliance: the steam emission can be dangerous if used improperly. Do not aim steam at people or animals and do not apply steam to worn clothes to avoid risk of burns.

• It is not recommended to use the appliance on leather, suede, vinyl, plastic, or other steam-sensitive fabrics.

• Do not use the device when the water tank is empty.

• Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with high-temperature steam during product operation.

• Disconnect the power plug before cleaning the product, installing or removing brush accessories, or lling up the water tank. Allow the device to cool down before cleaning it.

• Do not use the device with perfume, vinegar or other liquids. This product is designed to operate only with water.

• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service in case of doubt.

• Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure the appliance works properly.

• Cecotec takes no responsibility for any damage caused by misuse of the machine. Any misuse or non-compliance with these instructions voids the warranty and Cecotec’s liability.

• All our ironing range products have undergone quality control tests previous to their commercialisation. These tests consist of lling the water tank in order to check tightness and to ensure the correct operation of the device. Once the test has been carried out, the tank is emptied and dried, but some water may still remain inside.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age when the appliance is in use or cooling down.

• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and oces.

• Inspect the power cable regularly for visible damage, especially the plug and its housing. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.

• Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.

• Warning: never immerse the appliance in water. Do not touch the water!

• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the surface or worktop.

• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

• Switch o and unplug the product from the power supply when not in use, when lling the water tank, and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.

• Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.

• Place the appliance on a dry, stable, at, heat-resistant surface.

• Be careful when tilting or turning the appliance: there may still be hot water inside. Avoid moving the appliance abruptly to minimise the risk of spillage.IRONHERO V-1500 ESSENTIAL BLUE

Filling up the water tank - Before lling the water tank, make sure that the iron is not connected to the mains.

Note: If you are using the iron for the rst time, be sure to use clean water. For subsequent llings, you can continue to use tap water, but if the water in your area is very hard, it is recommended to use distilled or mineral water to prolong the life of the appliance.

5. After lling the tank, close the black tab by pressing it upwards until it is tight.

6. Put the tank back in place by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place. Be sure to remove

any water residue spilled during lling. Note: - Be sure not to overll to avoid spills. - Please note: Do not exceed the maximum level of the tank, even if it does not have a visible mark. Leave a small unlled space near the top edge. - If the tank is too full, water may spill out during use. - Do not add perfume, vinegar, starch, or any chemical product in the water tank. Putting the plancha into operation

1. Insert the power cord into the mains socket.

2. Wait for the iron to reach the right temperature.

3. During the preheating process, the indicator light will ash.

4. When the indicator light stops ashing and remains steady, the iron has reached the

correct temperature.

5. While the iron is in operation, the indicator light will remain on.

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly. - Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately. - Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance. - Remove any labels, stickers or protective lm that may be attached to the body or soleplate of the iron before using it for the rst time. - The iron may give o some smoke and emit some odor when you use it for the rst time. Smoke will disappear after a short time. This is a normal phenomenon, it does not represent any problem.IRONHERO V-1500 ESSENTIAL BLUE

ENGLISH ENGLISH Descaling - You can perform the descaling operation if you notice that the performance of the appliance has decreased. Perform this operation in a ventilated room.

1. Remove the water tank by sliding it downwards.

2. Fill the water tank with 50% water and 50% white vinegar. Do not use other descaling

3. Return the water tank to its position inside the appliance. Make sure that the water tank

is fully inserted into position.

4. Plug the device in.

5. Wait until the device is ready for use.

6. Run the appliance until the water tank is completely emptied.

7. Fill the water tank with 100% water and repeat the operation until the water tank has

been completely emptied in order to rinse the appliance.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS

No steam. The device is unplugged or not turned on. Check that the unit is correctly plugged in and switched on. Water level is too low. Disconnect the unit and rell it. The steam pump has not been primed. Press the steam button continuously until steam comes out. This is the rst time he has used the device. Keep the steam trigger pressed for 1 minute to prime the appliance. The water tank is not properly assembled. Make sure that the tank is correctly positioned and xed in place. The appliance does not heat up. The device is unplugged or not turned on. Plug in the device and turn it on. Use Steam function - You can only use the Steam function when the iron is hot. - Make sure there’s enough water in the tank.

1. Connect the power cable to a power outlet.

2. Wait for the iron to reach the right temperature.

3. To activate the steam function, press the on/o button and select the desired power

4. To activate the steam output, press the button corresponding to the steam function.

5. The griddle has two power levels:

Low : Ideal for delicate fabrics.

High : Recommended for thicker fabrics or fabrics with dicult wrinkles.

Warning: Do not direct the iron at any person. Serious injury or burns may occur.

1. Wait for the iron to reach the right temperature.

2. Hold the iron vertically and keep it at a certain distance from the garment to be ironed.

3. Then press the on/o button and select the desired power level.

4. To start the operation of the vertical iron, press the steam function button.

5. Press and hold the steam function button during all use. If you release the button, steam

will stop coming out. Note: - This type of appliance is especially useful for ironing hanging clothes, curtains, upholstery, etc. - When using the iron, the steam may stop coming out for a few seconds. This is a normal phenomenon.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Before cleaning the iron, unplug it from the socket and allow it to cool down completely. - Wipe it with a damp cloth. - Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. - Rinse the tank regularly with water and empty it after cleaning. - After use, unplug the iron from the outlet and drain any water that may remain in the tank. Before storing, make sure it is completely cold. - Never use scouring pads, abrasive or chemical cleaners, or solvents to clean the body or soleplate of the iron.IRONHERO V-1500 ESSENTIAL BLUE

When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
