USER MANUAL ICY FDM1BTC2000 WILFA

• Before using the frozen drink maker for the first time, wait 2 hours after positioning it, and ensure that the transparent lid remains open during this time.

• Distilled water is not allowed to be used in this unit, tap water is recommended.

• When using electrical appliances it is important to observe basic safety rules to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and damage to persons or property. Please read all instructions carefully before using an appliance.

• Read all the instructions before use.

• Make sure that the voltage corresponds with the voltage stated on the rating plate.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• The appliance must not be opened. It contains no parts that can be repaired by the user.

• Do not position the product at an incline greater than 45°. Do not upend this product or incline it over a 45° angle.5

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.

• Disconnect the appliance after use or before cleaning.

• Provide good ventilation around the appliance, a minimum of 10 cm.

• Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Do not use this appliance near flames, hot plates or a stove.6

• Do not insert objects into the machine through the ventilation openings. This can cause electric shock or fire.

• Do not start the appliance until you have fitted the tank and stirring blades.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Never clean with scouring powder or other hard objects.

• Warning: Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

• This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial; household use only.

• Warning: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.

• Warning: When disposing of the appliance, do so only at an authorized waste disposal center. Do not expose to flame. The refrigerant isobutene (R290) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable. During transportation and installation of the appliance, ensure that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit becomes damaged. The refrigerant (R290) is flammable. Caution: risk of fire / Flammable materials. If the refrigerant circuit should be damaged:

• Avoid opening flames and sources of ignition.

• Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.8

1. Place the slush machine on a flat, stable surface.

2. Clean all parts that touch the liquid, including the evaporator, tank, and

stirring blades. Ensure the power cord is unplugged before cleaning. (See“cleaning and maintenance” for detailed cleaning instructions).

3. Assemble the tank by sliding it over the stirring blades and evaporator.

Lockit into place by pushing the handle down as shown in the figure.

Open the lid on top of the tank and pour your prepared liquid into the tank, keeping it between the Minimum and Max (1.50L) levels.

5. Adjust the thickness using the “+” or “-” buttons. The higher the number of

bars, the lower the temperature.

6. Press the start button to start the machine. The child lock will activate after

1minute of inactivity. To deactivate, press and hold the child lock button for 3 seconds. AFTER PREPARATION

• Once the slush is ready, the machine will alert you with a buzzer sound. Pullthe handle down to pour your drink. TIMER FUNCTION Use the timer function to delay the start of the machine.

1. Choose your desired preset and thickness.

2. Press the timer button, adjust the time using the “+” and “– “buttons, and

press the start/pause button to begin the countdown. The startup can be delayed by up to 24 hours.

3. To cancel the timer, press the start/pause button.

4. You can modify the settings and time anytime. Simply unlock the child lock

and adjust with “+” and “– “buttons.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

4. Disassemble and clean the parts.

• The tank, stirring blades and water tray can be cleaned in the dishwasher. We recommend placing the parts on the top rack in the dishwasher.

• Use a damp soft brush or cloth to clean the evaporator and the sealing ring at the rear of it.

5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

Caution: Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid. STORING

• Ensure the machine is thoroughly cleaned, with no residue remaining, before storing.

• Store it upright and in a dry and safe place.12

1. Always maintain ingredients between the Minimum and Max levels.

2. Use ingredients with at least 6% sugar content or a Brix value of 10%. If

insufficient, add 1-2 tablespoon of flavoured syrup or another high-sugar ingredient.

3. When using alcohol, ensure the percentage is between 2.8% and 16%.

4. Be aware that the alcohol takes a longer time to freeze. To reduce the

freezing time, add the alcohol only after the slush has reached the desired consistency.

5. Pre-chill ingredients to enhance performance.

6. Clean the dispenser after every use to prevent blockages.

7. When using natural fruit juice, strain it before adding it to the machine to
