1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children between 3 and 8 years of age and persons with very extensive and complex disabilities shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children of less than 3 years of age should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Do not let children play with the appliance.
• Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately.
• Keep children and pets away from the appliance when it operates.
• Children shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the appliance without supervision.

1.2 General Safety

• This appliance is intended for domestic use above hobs, cookers and similar cooking devices.
• Before carrying out any maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
• CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot during use with cooking appliances.
• Use only the fixing screws supplied with the appliance if not supplied, use the screws recommended in the installation instructions.
• Do not use adhesives to fix the appliance.
• The minimum distance between the hob surface on which the pans stand and the lower part of the appliance shall be at least 65 cm, unless otherwise specified in the installation instructions. If the hob installation instructions specify a greater distance, it must be taken into account.
• The discharge of air must comply with local authorities regulations.
• Ensure good air ventilation in the room where the appliance is installed to avoid the backflow of unwanted gases into the room from appliances burning gas or other fuels, including open fires.
• Make sure that the ventilation openings are not blocked and the air collected by the appliance is not conveyed into a duct used to exhaust smoke and steam from other appliances (central heating systems, thermosiphons, water-heaters, etc.).
• When the appliance operates with other appliances the maximum vacuum generated in the room should not exceed 0.04 mbar.
• Make sure not to cause damage to the mains cable. Contact our Authorised Service Centre or an electrician to change a damaged mains cable.
• If the appliance is connected directly to the power supply, the electrical installation must be equipped with an isolating device that allows to disconnect the appliance from the mains at all poles. Complete disconnection must comply with conditions specified in the overvoltage category III. The means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
• Do not flambé under the appliance.
• Do not use to exhaust hazardous or explosive materials and vapours.
• Clean the appliance regularly to prevent the deterioration of the surface material
• Clean the appliance with a soft cloth regularly.
• Do not use a steam cleaner, water spray, harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the surface of the appliance. Use only neutral detergents.
• Clean grease filters regularly (at least every 2 months) and remove grease deposits from the appliance to prevent the risk of fire.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 Installation

Only a qualified person must install this appliance. Do not install or use a damaged appliance. Follow the installation instructions supplied with the appliance. Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy. Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear. Before installing the appliance, remove all the packaging, the labelling and the protective film. Do not install the exhaust air into a wall cavity, unless the cavity is designed for that purpose.

2.2 Electrical connection

WARNING! Risk of fire and electric shock.

All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician.

• Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power supply.
• If the symbol (□) is not printed on the rating plate, the appliance must be earthed. Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket.
• Do not let the electricity mains cable tangle.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.
• If the mains socket is loose, do not connect the mains plug.
• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Always pull the mains plug.
• The shock protection of live and insulated parts must be fastened in such a way that it cannot be removed without tools.
• Make sure the appliance is installed correctly. Loose and incorrect electricity mains cable can make the terminal become too hot.
• Connect the appliance at the end of the installation. Make sure that there is access to the mains after the installation.

2.3 Use

3. MAINTENANCE

Clean grease filters in relation to use, at least every 2 months to prevent the risk of fire.

Hand wash or clean in a dishwasher using a neutral detergent. If washing in the dishwasher, possible discoloration of the filters does not in any way compromise their functioning.

The activated charcoal filter is not washable and cannot be regenerated, and must be replaced approximately every 4 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage.

5. INSTALLATION METHODS

FILTERING OR DUCTING VERSION?

The hood may be in filtering or in ducting version.

Decide from the outset which type is to be installed.

For better efficiency, we recommend installing the hood in the ducting version (if possible).

Ducting version

The hood purifies the air and evacuates it to the outside through an exhaust duct.

Filtering version

The hood purifies the air and recycles the clean air back into the room.

6. LIGHTING

Disconnect the hood from the electricity.

Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs, ensure they are cooled down.

Replace it with lamps of the same type

1.2 GENERAL SAFETY RULES

• If the cooker hood is used simultaneously with appliances operating on gas or other fuels, the room must have adequate ventilation. Regularly clean the hood both inside and outside (at least once a month). Cleaning must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance instructions given in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions for cleaning the hood, as well as cleaning and replacing filters, may lead to fire.
• Avoid open flames, as they can damage the filters and lead to fires. The hood must be installed under supervision to avoid the risk of oil fires.
• The appliance is intended for household use. Before any cleaning or maintenance operations,

Warning! When the hob is operating, accessible parts of the extractor may become hot. - Only use the fixing screws supplied with the appliance; if they are not provided, use the screws recommended in the installation instructions. Do not use glue to fix the appliance. The minimum distance between the hob and the lower part of the extractor must be 65 cm, unless otherwise specified in the installation instructions. If the installation instructions specify a greater distance, this must be taken into account. - As for technical measures and safety conditions for flue gas evacuation, strictly follow the rules in force in your place of residence. - Make sure that the ventilation openings are not blocked and that the air expelled by the appliance is not discharged into a pipe used for evacuating fumes from other devices (central heating system, thermosiphons, water heaters, etc.). Be careful not to damage the power cord. To replace a damaged power cord, contact an authorized service center or a qualified electrician. - If the extractor is not fitted with a plug (direct connection to the mains) or if the socket is not accessible after installation, use an approved two-pole switch that ensures complete disconnection from the mains under overvoltage category III, in accordance with the installation instructions. - It is strictly forbidden to cook with an open flame under the extractor. Do not use the appliance to extract vapors of dangerous or explosive substances. The extractor should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth to prevent damage to the surface material. Do not use abrasive cleaners, water spray, abrasive cleaning agents, or sharp metal

scrapers to clean the surface of the appliance. Use only neutral detergents. Do not use or leave the extractor without correctly installed lamps, due to the possible risk of electric shock. We disclaim all liability for malfunctions, damage, or fire of the appliance resulting from failure to follow the instructions given in this manual.

• Clean the grease filters regularly (at least once a month).
• To clean the inside of the extractor, use a cloth or a brush.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 Installation

• Installation of the appliance must be carried out only by qualified personnel. Do not install or use a damaged appliance. Follow the installation instructions supplied with the appliance.
• Due to the large mass of the appliance, always be careful when moving it. Always use protective gloves and keep the appliance closed and stable.
• Before installing the device, remove all packaging and the protective film. Do not allow air to escape through the wall opening if the opening is not intended for this purpose.

2.2 Electrical connection

The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. - Make sure that the characteristics on the technical data plate match those of the power supply. - If the symbol (回) is not printed on the technical data plate, the device must be grounded. Always use a properly installed

and fully insulated socket.

Do not leave the power plug exposed. Do not use multi-socket adapters or extension cords. - If the socket is loose, do not connect the device to it. Do not disconnect the device by pulling on the power cord. Always pull on the plug. Protection against electric shock of live parts must be installed in such a way that it cannot be removed without tools. - Make sure that the device is installed correctly. An incorrectly connected power cord can lead to contact breakage. Connect the device only after installation is complete. Make sure that the power supply is connected after installation.

2.3 Use

WARNING! Risk of injury, burns, and electric shock.

• The device is intended solely for the removal of smoke and steam generated during cooking. Do not use the extractor for any other purposes. Do not make any modifications to the device. Do not touch the device with wet hands and do not switch it on if it has come into contact with water.
• Use only accessories supplied with the device. During cooking, frying, and oil heating, do not let them come into contact with the appliance or other objects. Do not place any

objects on the extractor.

Do not look directly at the light source.

2.4 Service

Before installing the device, please contact an authorized service center. Use only original spare parts.

2.5 Cleaning

Attention! Before disposing of the appliance, please contact the regional waste management operator or local authorities for information on proper disposal, including separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Cut the power cord close to the appliance body and dispose of it.

3. (i) Maintenance

Warning! Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply by removing the plug from the socket or switching off the circuit breaker. The appliance should be cleaned regularly both inside and outside (at least as often as the grease filter is cleaned). For cleaning, use a soft cloth dampened with a neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive materials. Do not use alcohol! Warning! Failure to follow the cleaning instructions and filter replacement may lead to a fire risk. Therefore, it is recommended to follow the instructions provided.

Cleaning the grease filters.

The grease filter should be cleaned (washed) monthly with neutral detergents, either by hand or in a dishwasher at low temperature and with a short cycle. When washing in a dishwasher, some discoloration of the grease filter may occur, but its filtering characteristics remain absolutely unchanged.

Charcoal filter.

The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after a longer or shorter period of operation, depending on the type of cooking and the frequency of grease filter cleaning. In any case, replace the filter at least every 4 months. The charcoal filter cannot be washed or restored for reuse.

5. INSTALLATION METHODS

Ducted version.

It is necessary to choose the installation method of the hood from the very beginning.

For maximum performance, we recommend installing the hood with the possibility of ducting.

Ducting

The hood extracts air and discharges it outside through a duct pipe.

The exhaust fan draws air out of the room and returns cleaned air to the room.

6. LIGHTING

Disconnect the unit from the power supply.

Warning! Do not touch the lamp until it has completely cooled down (it takes at least 5 minutes after switching off). Replace with a lamp of the same type (CANDLE LED 4W, 220-240V, E14, Ø37mm).

• Children and animals must not have access to the device while it is working.
• Children must not perform cleaning or maintenance of the device without supervision.

1.2 General safety rules

• The device is intended for household use, for heating plates, pots and other cooking appliances.
• Before performing any maintenance work on the device, it must be disconnected from the power source. WARNING: The accessible parts may become hot during use with the heating device. For mounting the device, use only the screws supplied with the device; if they are not supplied, use

screws recommended in the installation instructions.

The appliance must be installed in accordance with the regulations. The minimum distance between the top surface of the hob on which the appliance is placed and the underside of the appliance must be 65 cm, unless otherwise specified in the installation instructions. If the installation instructions for the hob specify a greater distance, that must be respected. - The appliance must be connected to the exhaust air outlet in accordance with the regulations in force at the local level. In the room where the appliance is installed, good ventilation must be ensured to avoid the risk of harmful gases being drawn back into the room where there are appliances that burn gas or other fuels, including open fires. - Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked and that the air taken in by the appliance is not discharged into a duct used for ventilation of other appliances (central heating, thermosiphons, water heaters, etc.). - While the appliance is operating with the burners on, the maximum vacuum generated in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar. Be careful not to damage the power cord. For replacement of a damaged power cord, contact our authorized service center or an electrician. If the appliance is directly connected to the power supply, the electrical installation must be equipped with a disconnecting device that allows the appliance to be completely disconnected from the power supply. The complete disconnection must comply with the conditions specified in category III for overvoltage. The appliance used for disconnection must be connected to the existing network, in accordance with the wiring rules for electrical installations. Do not use the appliance without supervision. Do not use the appliance to vacuum materials that are dangerous or explosive substances. - The appliance must be cleaned regularly to prevent damage to the surface material. - Clean the appliance regularly with a soft cloth.

For cleaning the surface of the appliance, do not use cleaning agents with steam, water spray, abrasive cleaning agents, or sharp metal scrapers. Use only neutral detergents. - Clean the grease filters regularly (at least once a month) and remove the grease deposits from the appliance to prevent fire hazard. For cleaning the interior of the appliance, use a cloth or brush.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 Installation

WARNING! Risk of injury, electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance.

• Installation must be carried out only by a qualified electrician. Do not install or use a damaged appliance. Follow the installation instructions. Due to the heavy weight of the appliance, be extremely careful when moving it. Always use protective gloves and sturdy shoes.
• Before installing the appliance, remove and dispose of the protective film. Do not let the air out through the opening in the floor, unless the opening is designed for that purpose.

2.2 Connection to the mains

WARNING! Risk of fire or electric shock.

• Electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician.
• Check the parameters in the table with the device against the characteristics of the energy source. If the symbol (回) is not on the table with the device, the device must be replaced.
• Current users, instructions for use:
• The power cord is permanently connected. Do not leave the power cord hanging. Do not use an extension cord or adapter. If the plug is damaged, do not connect the device with it. Do not disconnect the device by pulling the

power cord. Always disconnect the plug.

Protection against electric shock from live parts and insulated parts must be installed so as to prevent accidental contact. Ensure that the device is properly installed. An inappropriate power cord can cause overheating of the contacts. - The device must be connected after installation. After installation, ensure that there is an accessible power source.

2.3 Use

WARNING! Risk of injury, electric shock.

• The device is intended only for cooking. Do not use the device for purposes other than those specified. Do not modify the specifications of the device. Do not use the device with wet hands or when in contact with water.
• Use only the supplied device. During cooking and use, fats and oils must not come into contact with flames or hot surfaces. Do not use uncovered grills for cooking. Do not use the device as a storage space for other items. Do not use sharp or pointed objects to look directly at the light source of the device.

2.4 Servicing

For repair of the device, contact an authorized service center. Use only original spare parts.

2.5 Disposal

WARNING! Risk of injury or suffocation.

• Information on proper disposal of the device can be obtained by contacting local authorities.
• Do not turn the device on before filling it. The filling device must be placed close to the body of the device and then turned on.

3. CLEANING

The oil filter must be cleaned depending on the frequency of use, at least every two months, to prevent the risk of fire. It can be cleaned in a dishwasher or with a neutral detergent. In case of cleaning in a dishwasher, the slight change in the color of the filter does not affect its functioning in any way.

The activated carbon filter cannot be cleaned and regenerated. It must be replaced with a new one - at least every four months of use, or more often in case of particularly intensive use.

4. CONTROLS

Switch: light; position: off light; position: on light. Switch: motor speed: allows selection of the motor speed; position 0: motor off. C: motor on.

5. INSTALLATION METHODS

FILTRATION OR DUCTED VERSION? The extractor can be installed in a filtration or ducted version. You must decide which type to install. For better performance, we recommend installing the extractor in the ducted version (where possible).

Ducted version

The extractor draws in the air and expels it outside through the duct.

Filtration version

The extractor draws in the air and returns it already filtered into the room.

6. LIGHTING

The extractor must be disconnected from the electrical supply.

!Warning! Before touching the lights, make sure they are off. Replace with lamps of the same type (CANDLE LED 4W, 220-240V, E14, 037mm).

5. MOUNTING

FILTERED OR DUCTED VERSIONS?

The hood can be in filtered or ducted version. You must decide which version will be installed.

For better performance, we recommend installing the hood in ducted version (if possible).
