Frequently Asked Questions - MXS401 PANASONIC

How to use the immersion blender?
Attach the immersion blender to the motor unit (align the symbols, turn to lock). Fill the jug with cut ingredients, select High mode, unlock the child lock, then press the on/off switch while holding the unlock button. Submerge the blender in the ingredients and blend.
How to use the chopper bowl?
Insert the chopper blade into the fixing axis, place the ingredients (cut into 2-3 cm cubes), close the lid, attach the adapter, then the motor unit. Select High or Pulse mode according to desired texture. Do not use for more than one minute continuously.
How to use the whisk?
Attach the whisk to the motor unit via the adapter (align the symbols, turn). For cream, use cream with at least 30% fat content. Select Low mode at the beginning, then switch to High when the cream thickens. Do not whisk more than 4 eggs at a time.
Can I blend hot ingredients?
No, ingredients must not exceed 60°C. Pouring hot liquid may cause sudden steam ejection. Wait for food to cool before blending.
What to do if the appliance stops during use?
This may be due to overload or overheating. Release the switch, unplug, remove some ingredients or add water, then let rest for 30 minutes. If the mode indicators flash, the overheating protection is activated.
How to clean the blades?
Clean the blades with the provided spatula brush, without touching them with bare hands. For the immersion blender, pour water into the jug and run for 15 seconds. The chopper blades can be cleaned with a soft sponge, but do not soak them.
Can I put parts in the dishwasher?
The jug and chopper bowl (without the non-slip ring) are dishwasher safe. The motor unit, adapter, and blades must not be washed in the dishwasher. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Which ingredients are prohibited in the chopper bowl?
Do not use very hard ingredients (coffee beans, ice cubes, dry bread), sticky (mashed potatoes, cream cheese) or fibrous (stringy meat). Frozen foods are also prohibited.
How to activate the child lock?
The child lock engages when the unlock button is not pressed. To unlock, press the unlock button (button 12). The lock prevents operating the on/off switch.
What is the warranty of the appliance?
The manual does not explicitly mention the warranty period. Contact your Panasonic dealer or after-sales service for more information. Keep the proof of purchase.
