How to charge the glue gun?

Plug the charger (6) into a mains socket and connect the charging cable (5) to the charging socket (a). The LED indicator (2a) lights up red during charging and turns green when the battery is fully charged. Charging takes about 3 to 5 hours.

How long does it take for the glue to heat up?

The heat-up time is about 15 seconds. The LED indicator (2b) changes from red to green when the device is ready for use.

How to know if the device is ready?

When the LED indicator (2b) is green, the device has reached the melting temperature (170 °C) and is ready to use. If it is red, the heating process is ongoing.

What types of glue sticks to use?

Use glue sticks with a diameter of 7 mm. Hot glue is suitable for bonding wood, plastic, textile, cardboard, ceramic and leather.

Can the device be used on all materials?

The device is designed for bonding wood, plastic, textile, cardboard, ceramic and leather. It is not suitable for professional or industrial use.

What to do if the LED indicator flashes red during use?

If the LED indicator (2b) flashes red during operation, it means the battery is discharged. Charge the device immediately.

How to clean the device?

Allow the device to cool down, then clean it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not use harsh cleaning products and avoid water entering the interior.

Does the device shut off automatically?

Yes, the device shuts off automatically after about 5 minutes of inactivity to save the battery.

What is the warranty period?

The warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase. It covers material and manufacturing defects, but not normal wear or damage due to improper use.

If the temperature of the charging unit rises above 130^ , the overtemperature cut-out will be activated. The supply of current to the output is then interrupted.

3. Proper use

You can use the cordless hot glue gun to glue the following materials: Wood, plastics, textiles, cardboard, ceramics, leather, etc.

The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.

Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Before starting the equipment

5.1 Charging the battery (Fig. 2)

The battery is protected from exhaustive discharge. An integrated protective circuit automatically switches off the equipment when the battery is fl at.

Note! Do not actuate the On/Off switch any more if the protective circuit has tripped. This may damage the battery.

Check that your mains voltage is the same as that marked on the rating plate. Plug the battery charger (6) in the plug socket and connect the charging cable (5) to the charging connection (a). The charging process starts as soon as the charging cable is connected to the charging adapter. The LED (2a) will light up red to indicate that the battery pack is being charged. When charging is finished, the LED (2a) changes to green.

If the LED (2a) it flashes red, this indicates that the temperature is too high or too low. Keep the tool at room temperature for a day and try again.

If no LEDs come on or fi ash during charging, this means that the battery pack is defective. A defective battery is not allowed to be used any more.

Important! The handle may become a little warm during the charging process. This is normal.

If the battery fails to charge, please check
whether there is voltage at the socket outlet
- whether there is good contact at the charging contacts of the charging unit

5.2 Inserting the glue stick (Fig. 3)

Push the glue stick (7) into the opening (b) as far as the stop.

6. Operation

6.1 Operation (Fig. 2)

Check that a glue stick is fitted (see point 5.2)
Press the On/Off switch (1) for approx. 3 seconds.
The LED (2b) will light up red to indicate that the equipment is heating up
This takes approx. 15 seconds, after which the LED (2b) changes to green
The equipment is now ready for operation.

To switch the equipment off again, press the ON/OFF briefly just the once

Warning!

Never set the equipment down once you have started using it.
If or when your gluing work is interrupted or finished, always be sure to stand the equipment on its handle as shown in Fig. 1.
Switch the equipment off and allow it to cool down completely before you pack it away.

6.2 Working with the cordless hot glue gun

• You can now apply the glue by pressing the trigger lever (4) after the heating up time
  Press both surfaces together immediately and apply pressure to them
  It takes about 30 seconds for the glue to set.

The equipment switches off automatically after approx. 5 minutes of non-use.

Important!

Glue stains on textiles cannot be removed.

6.3 LED indicator (Fig. 2/Item 2)

The indicator (2) displays the charging status during charging (see point 5.1), the heating time and when the equipment is ready for operation (see point 6.1). If the red LED (2b) fl ashes during operation, the battery is empty. Recharge the battery.

7. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts

Warning!

Allow the equipment to cool down before you start to clean it.

7.1 Cleaning

• Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
  We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using it.
  Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep into the device. The ingress of water into an electric tool increases the risk of an electric shock.

7.2 Maintenance

There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.

8. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equipment and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Never place defective equipment in your household refuse. The equipment should be taken to a suitable collection center for proper disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of such a collection point, you should ask in your local council offices.

9. Storage

Store the equipment and accessories in a dark
and dry place at above freezing temperature. The
ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30
°C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.
