If the safety gate is installed between two clean and structurally sound surfaces according to the instructions, it corresponds to the requirements of the directive EN 1930:2011.

WARNING: Incorrect installation may be dangerous.

WARNING: The child safety gate may not be used if damaged or if individual parts are missing.

WARNING: The child safety gate may not be used on windows.

WARNING: Never fasten without the wall fastening regulators! These are adhered or screwed on for surfaces that are not suitable for adhesion as described in the instructions.

ATTENTION:

• The safety gate is only suitable for children up to the age of 24-months.
• If you determine that your child is able to open the gate alone, respectively able to climb over it (individual child development), please do not continue to use the gate.
• Ensure that no objects are located near the safety gate, which your child could use as a climbing support.
• For older children, there is the risk that they will climb over it.
• Adults should also always open the door gate when wanting to pass and not step over it.
• The door gate should always be closed and locked and only opened when passing through.
• Older children may not swing on the gate door.
• After installation of the safety gate, please read the instructions again to ensure that the gate is installed and mounted properly.
• Check the gate for secure mounting and static stability on a regular basis. If necessary, adjust according to the indications in the instructions subsequently.
• Only spare parts and accessories supplied by the manufacturer may be used.
• Only use the item for the intended purpose and observe the safety notes.
• Upon indication of defects, discontinue use.
• Toys may not be hung on the safety gate.
• The child safety gate is suitable for household use only.

The safety gate is not a toy. It does not replace the proper supervision of an adult!

Cleaning: Do not use any harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials. Clean the safety gate on a regular basis with a damp cloth and a little dishwashing liquid.

Note for installation in connection with extensions:

If you would like to install the door gate in connection with extensions, please start on page 11 and follow the instructions "Installation of Extensions".

English (EN)	Installation	ATTENTION: The gate must always open in the direction away from the hazard zone!In order to limit the opening direction, installation of the stopper (j) III. 1 is optional.
	____ Step 1	Insert the 4 screw housings (a, c, d) together with the adjusting screws (e) and (f) into the 4 corners of the gate. Please follow the instructions of III. 2 - 5 exactly when inserting the parts (a, c, d).Push the screw housings (c) only slightly in, so that the colours remain visible, III. 4.Push the screw housings (a) and (d) in completely, III. 2, III. 3, III. 5.Attention! The screw housings (a, c, d) do not have an inside thread. The screws are merely pushed in or pulled out.
	____ Step 2	Place the safety gate on the floor and make sure the gate stands upright in the middle of the doorway so that there is no more than 62mm between the safety gate and the door frame. III. 6.Pull the lower adjusting screws out evenly until they touch the mounting areas, III 7 and 8.Mounting the wall shells (g)
	ATTENTION!When is the screw connection of the wall shells necessary?	When is the screw connection of the wall shells (g) absolutely necessary?On a wooden surface -> with the included wood screws (h)On plaster or soft surfaces -> with suitable screws and wall anchors 1)Remove the protective foil on the adhesive surface on the back of the wall shells and place these between the adjustment screws and the mounting surface, III. 09 and 10.Tip: Make the mounting easier by only turning back the adjustment screw slightly on one side of the door gate whilst the opposite adjustment screws of the gate provide support on the mounting surface.

Step 3

Pull out the adjustment screw on the upper side of the door gate on the hinge side III. 13 until the distance between the wall and the gate frame is identical at the top and the bottom III. 14.

(The vertical rod of the door gate frame is equipped with a slight angle deviation in order to fit the door gate in the mounting opening under tension), III. 15.

Pull the adjustment screw at the top on the closure side of the gate until III. 12 the distance between the frame end cap of the frame and the handle mechanism is 3 - 4 mm, III. 16.

After tightening, check to ensure that the distance from the middle rod to the attachment surface is the same so that the rod is vertical, III.17.

Opening /Closing the gate

In order to open the door, press the release button of the closure lightly and push it back until the metal closure bolt withdraws from the bolt opening of the frame casing, III. 18.

To open, lift the gate element slightly. After passing, let go of the door. It swings back from any position and closes automatically.

Green indicator: Door securely closed, III. 19.

Red indicator: Danger - door not locked! Ill. 20.

When passed, ensure that the display is green.

Installation on stairs

ATTENTION!

Always open the gate away from the dangerous position! In order to limit the opening direction, installation of the stopper is optional.

(A) If the safety barrier is used at the bottom of the stairs, it should be positioned in the front of the lowest tread possible.

Installation of the extensions (max. 6 pieces)

Usage of several extensions

Remove adjusting screws (e) and (f) and attach the extension part(s) to each side of the safety gate. Insert the adjusting screws into the extension(s). III. 21

When using several extension parts, divide them equally between the two gate sides, III. 22.

Never use the extensions only on one side! Ill. 23

Interlock the extensions. Insert the adjusting screws (e) and (f) into the last segment. Continue to assemble as described on page 10.

The fluorescent light rail Night-Safe that is glued to the bottom of the frame ensures safety in the dark. 30 minutes of daylight power it for 9 - 12 hours.
