If the safety gate is installed between two clean and structurally sound surfaces according to the instructions, it corresponds to the requirements of the directive EN 1930:2011.

WARNING: Incorrect installation may be dangerous!

WARNING: The child safety gate may not be used if damaged or if individual parts are missing!

WARNING: Never use without wall cups!

ATTENTION:

• The safety gate is only suitable for children up to the age of 24-months
• If you determine that your child is able to open the gate alone, respectively able to climb over it (individual child development), please do not continue to use the gate
• Ensure that no objects are located near the safety gate, which your child could use as a climbing support
• For older children, there is the risk that they will climb over it
  Adults should also always open the door gate when wanting to pass and not step over it
• The door gate should always be closed and locked and only opened when passing through
• Older children may not swing on the gate door
• After installation of the safety gate, please read the instructions again to ensure that the gate is installed and mounted properly
• Check the gate for secure mounting and static stability on a regular basis. If necessary, adjust according to the indications in the instructions subsequently
• Only spare parts and accessories supplied by the manufacturer may be used
• Only use the item for the intended purpose and observe the safety notes
• Upon indication of defects, the gate must no longer be used
• Toys may not be hung on the safety gate
• The child safety gate is suitable for household use only

The safety gate is not a toy. It does not replace the proper supervision of an adult!

Cleaning: Do not use any harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials. Clean the safety gate on a regular basis with a damp cloth and a little dishwashing liquid.

Installation on stairs

Especially well suited for installation at the top of stairs as it opens completely and does not

present a tripping hazard. Here, the direction of opening shall be limited by the installation of the supplied stopper (n) (Step 5)

(A) Install at the top of the upper the stair and do not install on one of the stairs.

(B) If the safety barrier is used at the bottom of the stairs, it should be positioned in the front of the lowest tread possible.

Installation	ATTENTION: The gate must always open in the direction away from the hazard zone to avoid dangerous situations. The amount the safety gate is opened can be limited by installing the stopper (n), which comes with the gate. (Step 5)
Step 1	Attach the parts (a) and (b) of the safety gate as depicted in fig. 1 and 2. Then push them in the direction of each sides opening until the distance between the outer vertical gate slats and the surface it is mounted to is at least 30 mm and maximum 62 mm, fig. 3.
Step 2	Attach respectively two mounting screw sets (i) and (j) to the upper and lower part of the door, fig. 4 and 5. Check if the door parts (a) and (b) are lightly attached to each other and the vertical slats are flush. Screw tight with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3	Attach hinge bolts with nuts (d) on the side opposite of the closure of the gate (b) at the top and the bottom, fig. 7 and 8. Attach the adjustment screw (c) on the other side of the gate (a) at the bottom, fig. 6.
Step 4	Mark the drill holes on the hinge side (b) with the help of the mounting template (l). These are marked with the name "hinge", fig. 10, 11 and 12. First, only the lower hinge parts (h) are fastened using the wood screws (k), fig. 13 and 14. Use suitable screws and plugs for other mounting surfaces. 1)
Installing the hinge side
Step 5	The screw holes for the closing side (a) must be marked using the mounting template (l). These are marked with the name "latch", fig. 16.
Installing the locking side
installing the stopper	Optionally, the stopper can be inserted either on the left or on the right. For this purpose, insert the stopper (n) on the side in the hinge support (m), fig. 9, before it is fastened using the wood screws (k), fig. 15 and 17.
Step 6	Insert the hinge bolts (d) that are on the gate into the two lower hinge parts (h). Only mount the upper hinge parts (g), fig. 18 and 19.

Step 7	To mount the gate, open with the handle, fig. 20. For this purpose, press the 2 buttons on both sides and simultaneously lift the handle. To open, both buttons must be pressed gently and simultaneously! Adjust the lower adjustment screw so that the hinge support (m) easily and freely lowers, fig. 21. Now adjust the adjustment screw in the handle until the head of the adjustment screw has a distance of 3 - 4 mm from the opening surface, fig. 22. Mount the support shell (f) between the head of the adjustment screw and the wall, mark the position and screw on the support shell with a wood screw (k), fig. 23. Now lighten the nuts of the three fastening screws using the provided screwdriver (o), respectively tighten the hand wheel on the fastening screw of the closure. Your gate is ready for use.
Öffnen des Gitters	To lift the handle, gently press both buttons simultaneously. Gently lift the handle from the back / bottom. If the buttons are pressed too hard, this complicates lifting the handle. Lift the door out of the lower hinge support and open wide, fig. 24.
Schließen des Gitters	When closing the gate, please check if the adjustment screw is inserted in the bracket of the lower hinge support. Then insert the screw head in the closure by lowering the handle to the support shell. Always ensure that the fastening screws are inserted in the top and the bottom correctly.
Note	Regularly check the safety of the mounting, static stability and locking function. Adjust according to the indications in the instructions subsequently.
