Bread dumplings
300 g of stale white bread, 20 ml of milk, 40 g of butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion, parsley, salt, pepper
Cut the bread into slices 10 mm thick and cut in half lengthwise. Pour 20 ml of milk and let it soak. Tips
Food processor
Use of pulse discs
-Pulse disc with fine holes (2.7 mm): cooked chicken, pork, veal, cooked beef and liver, cooked fish for soups; raw pork and veal for minced meat rolls; raw liver, meat and bacon for liver sausage; pork for raw smoked sausage
Disc with medium holes (4 mm):
Pork and beef for roasting and stewing
Disc with large holes (8 mm):
Roasted pork for Hungarian soup; leftovers (e.g., roast, sausages) for baking with leftovers
If a finer consistency of processed products is required, repeat the grinding process or use different discs sequentially (with large, medium, small holes). ■ Ingredients (e.g., onion, herbs) can be added directly during processing. This ensures all ingredients are well mixed.
Sausages and wieners
Soak natural sausage casing in warm water for about 10 minutes before processing. Do not stuff the casing too tightly, as sausages may burst during boiling or frying.
Attachment for grating
Caution! (MFW3X...)
Use the grating attachment only at speed 1 (slow). - Use the grater attachment at speed 2 (fast).
