How to install the seat with the Isofix connectors?

Push the insertion aids into the vehicle's Isofix anchors. Extend the Isofix connectors by pressing the side buttons, then push them into the aids until they click. Push the seat against the backrest and check that both indicators are green.

Can I use the seat without Isofix?

Yes, the seat can be installed using only the vehicle's 3-point belt. Isofix attachment is optional but recommended for better stability.

From what height can my child use this seat?

This seat is suitable for children with a height between 126 and 150 cm.

How to clean the seat cover?

The cover can be machine washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Do not use bleach, do not iron, and tumble dry on low heat.

Is the seat compatible with all vehicles?

What is the difference between Junior Isofix and Junior Isofix Gurtfix?

The Gurtfix (FB-601-GFIX) variant includes an additional strap that attaches to the diagonal belt to keep it close to the child's shoulder. The standard model (FB-601-FIX) is not equipped with this.

How to know if the Isofix connectors are properly engaged?

The connectors have a locking indicator: a green light appears when they are correctly fastened. If the light is red, they are not locked.

Can this seat be installed on the front seat of the vehicle?

The manual does not specify a prohibition, but it is generally recommended to install child car seats on the rear seats. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.

What to do if the seat has been involved in an accident?

The seat must be replaced after an accident, even if no visible damage is present, as the stresses may have compromised its safety.

HOW TO USE

• This product is suitable for children with a height of 126 to 150 cm .
• The installation is exclusively forward facing and with the help of the Isofi x connectors. The child is strapped in with the car's 3-point seat belt. Alternatively, the child car seat can also be fitted with the 3-point belt only. Attaching the seat with the Isofi x connectors is not absolutely essential but is recommended.

PLEASE NOTE

This is an improved child restraint system of the "universal" category with cushions for height compensation. It has been approved in accordance with UN Regulation No 129 for use with vehicle seats which are suitable for improved restraint systems in the "i-Size" and "universal" categories as specified by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle manual.

If in doubt, the manufacturer of the improved child restraint system or the retailer should be consulted.

• For Isofi x installation: Be sure to read the car manufacturer's manual.
• Do not use load-bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and indicated in the child restraint system.
• Do not use this child car seat at home. It has been designed exclusively for use in a car.
• Do not leave your child unsupervised in the seat at any time.
• The child seat must be replaced if it has been subject to severe mechanical stress in an accident.
• For safety reasons, the child car seat must be secured in the vehicle even when there is no child sitting in the child car seat.
• Always make sure that all straps that attach the child car seat to the vehicle are secure and that all belts that restrain the child are adjusted to fit the child's body. Ensure that the belts are not twisted.
• Items of luggage or other objects that could cause injury in the event of a collision must be properly secured.
• The rigid elements and plastic parts of a child restraint system must be positioned and installed so that they cannot get caught by a movable seat or a vehicle door.
• It is important that belts that sit low hold the child's pelvis firmly in place. Your child should always be fastened in to stop them falling out.
• It is dangerous to make changes or additions to the product without approval from the responsible authority. Non-compliance with the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer of the child restraint system may also present risks to the safety of your child.
• Never overload the child seat by transporting more than one child or additional loads in it.
• The child restraint system must not be used without the seat cover.
• The seat cover must not be replaced by a cover other than that recommended by the manufacturer, as this seat cover is an important component of the restraint system.

Isofi x connectors

• Push the insertion aids through the slot in the cushion between the backrest and seat into the Isofi x anchor points.
• When doing this, the fl at side of the insertion aids must be facing downwards. This step is not necessary if the vehicle already has fixed insertion aids.
• Press the two lateral Isofi x connector buttons in order to extend the length of the Isofi x connectors.
• Push the Isofix connectors into the insertion aids until you hear them click into place.
• Push the child car seat in until it rests securely against the backrest of the car seat. Ensure that both Isofi x indicators are switched to green.

Safety notice

• When installing the child car seat, please ensure that it rests completely on the seat surface of your car seat and that it has good stability. It should not rest, for example, with the back against the backrest of the front car seat.
• Please do not place any additional wedges or cushions under the child car seat, e.g. to change the seating position.

CLEANING

To guarantee the long-term usage of your child car seat, do not use any solvents, abrasive cleaners or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the car seat. Check the stability of the fabric and of the seams after each wash. When washing the fabric, carefully follow the instructions on the label (see below).

MAINTENANCE

INSTALLATION OF THE CHILD CAR SEAT

Size class 126-150 cm, forward facing

1. Press the two lateral Isofix connector buttons in order to extend the length of the Isofi x connectors.
2. Guide the Isofi x connectors to the Isofi x anchor points on the car seat and snap them into place.
3. Push the child car seat in until it rests securely against the backrest. Ensure that both Isofi x indicators are switched to green.
4. Put your child in the child car seat.
5. Buckle your child in by closing the buckle of the 3-point harness until you hear a click.
6. Make sure that the lap belt runs underneath the two armrests along the green belt guides. The diagonal strap must run above the armrest.
7. Pull on the diagonal strap to tighten it. Make sure that the straps are not twisted.

Installation without Isofi x:

Alternatively, the child car seat can also be fitted with the 3-point belt only. Attaching the seat with the Isofi x connectors is not absolutely essential but is recommended.

Removal of the child car seat:

Loosen the Isofi x connector buttons on both sides of the child car seat until the two indicators show red and remove the child car seat from your car.

PLEASE NOTE

Only for variant Junior Isofi x with Belt Fix (FB-601-GFIX):

For the version with Belt Fix, additionally thread the green belt fix on the diagonal belt of the 3-point belt of the car. Adjust the length of the strap so that it runs along the diagonal strap just above your child's shoulder. The use of the belt fix is optional.

Retrofitting the Belt Fix to the factory version without Belt Fix (FB-601-FIX - Junior Isofi x) is not permitted.
