- The unit is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
- This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.

1. Getting to know your appliance
Monitor functions This electric massager allows you to give yourself or other people soothing massages. Massages can be relaxing or stimulating, and are popular for treatment of stiff or tense muscles, pains and fatigue. The device provides a powerful, intensive massage for the back, neck, shoulders, upper arms, thighs and calves. The device is for private use only and is not intended for medical or commercial purposes.
This device is intended only for the massaging of individual parts of the human body. It cannot replace medi- cal treatment. Do not use the massage device if any of the following warnings apply to you. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure whether or not the massage device is suitable for you. WARNING Use of the massage device is prohibited in the following cases:
On persons suffering from a herniated disk or from abnormal changes to the vertebrae.
Under any circumstances for massages in the area around the heart if you wear a pacemaker. If this is the case, consult your doctor regarding other parts of the body first.
Never use the massage device on swollen, burned, inflamed or damaged skin or body parts.
The massage device must not be used during pregnancy.
Do not use the massage device on the face (eyes), on the larynx or on other particularly sensitive parts of the body.
Never use the device while you are asleep.
Never use the device after taking medication or consuming alcohol (reduced levels of awareness).
On bones (e.g. joints, spine).
In a vehicle. You should consult your doctor before using the massage device if:
you suffer from a serious illness or are recovering from an operation,
you suffer from any of the following: common cold accompanied by a fever, varicose veins, throm- bosis, phlebitis, jaundice, diabetes, nervous system diseases (e.g. sciatica) or acute inflammations. The device is only intended for the purpose described in these operating instructions. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage occurring as a result of inappropriate or careless use.
3. Safety information
Please read these operating instructions carefully. Failure to observe the information provided below can lead to personal injury or material damage. Keep these instructions in a safe place where they can also be read by other persons using the device. Always pass on these instructions together with the appliance if you sell it or pass it on. WARNING Keep children away from the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation.12 Electric shock WARNING Just like any other electrical appliance, this massage device must be handled with due care and at- tention in order to prevent the risk of electric shock. For this reason, the device must only be operated as follows:
with the mains voltage specified on the device only,
never use the device if any damage to the appliance itself or to any of its accessories is evident,
never during a thunderstorm. In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and, if applicable, disconnect it from the mains socket. Never pull on the power cable or on the appliance in order to disconnect the plug from the mains outlet. Never hold or carry the device by the power cable. Keep the cables away from hot surfaces. Never open the device for any reason. Make sure that the massage device, the plug and the cable do not come into contact with water or other fluids. Never try to retrieve the device if it has fallen into water and is connected to a socket through the mains adapter. Disconnect the mains adapter immediately. Do not use the device if it or its accessories are visibly damaged. Do not drop the device or subject it to any impacts. For this reason, the device must be operated as follows:
only in dry inside rooms,
only with dry hands,
never in the bath, in the shower or near a filled basin,
never in swimming pools, whirlpools or in the sauna,
never out in the open. Never try to retrieve the device if it falls into water. Disconnect the plug immediately from the mains outlet. Notes on handling rechargeable batteries
If your skin or eyes come into contact with fluid from the battery cell, flush out the affected areas with plenty of water and seek medical assistance.
Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
Do not disassemble, split or crush the rechargeable batteries.
Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufacturer and the specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times.
Fully charge the battery prior to initial use (see Chapter 5).
In order to achieve as long a battery service life as possible, fully charge the battery at least twice per year. Repairs WARNING Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by qualified persons. Incorrect repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user. In the event of repairs, please contact our customer service or an authorised dealer.13 Fire hazard WARNING There is a risk of fire if the device is used incorrectly or if it is not used according to these operating instructions. For this reason, the massage device must only be operated as follows:
Never operate the massage device for longer than 20 minutes (risk of overheating) and allow it to cool off for 20 minutes before using it again.
Never leave the device unsupervised, particularly if children are around.
Never use the device under covers, such as blankets or pillows.
Never use near petrol or other highly flammable substances. Handling CAUTION Switch the device off and disconnect the power supply after every use and before every cleaning.
Make sure that all moving parts can move freely at all times. Wear a hair net if necessary.
Make sure that no hair can get caught in the device.
Avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects.
Do not kink the cable.
Make sure that the device is not too close to heat sources such as ovens, radiators or direct sunlight.
Never insert objects into the device through any openings.
Switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains when you are removing or attaching the handle or massage attachments. Disposal CAUTION
The empty, completely flat rechargeable batteries must be disposed of through specially designated collection boxes, recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the rechargeable batteries.
Remove the battery from the device by carefully opening the massager. To do this, unscrew all of the screws on the housing with a screwdriver and remove the housing cover. Then take the battery out of the device and dispose of it correctly.
The codes below are printed on rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances: Pb = Battery contains lead, Cd = Battery contains cadmium, Hg = Battery contains mercury For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal. The device battery must be disposed of separately. The battery must not be disposed of with domestic waste.14

Remove the packaging.
Check the device, mains part and cable for damage.
Insert the connector plug into the socket on the massager to charge the device.
Charge the device for at least 3 hours before initial operation.
When the device starts to charge, an acoustic signal sounds. During the charging process, the LEDs on the battery display flash from left to right, depending on the battery state.
Once the device is fully charged, all 5 LEDs light up and an acoustic signal sounds 3 times.
If the battery is low, the LED display for the on/off mode (green light) starts to flash and an acoustic signal sounds 3 times. If the battery is flat, the device switches off and an acoustic signal sounds again 3 times.
The device can also be operated with a mains part. There is no charging in this case, however.
- Route the cable safely so that there is no risk of anyone tripping over it.
- The tapping massager can be used with or without the handle. It can be used with the handle to massage hard-to-reach parts of the body such as the shoulder and back area. It can be used without the handle for a more intensive, stronger massage.
- To remove the handle, please press and hold down the button (3) and at the same time pull the handle (4) away from the massage head. Then insert the plug-in element (11) in the back of the massage head to cover the handle attachment mechanism.
- Hold the massage head by the hand knob (9) so that you can guide the massage head securely.
- If you want to reattach the handle (4), first pull out the plug-in element (11) and push the handle (4) back on until you feel and hear it engage.
- You can use various massage attachments for massaging. To do this, select one of the 4 interchangeable massage attachments of your choice.
- Screw the attachments onto the massage head in a clockwise direction. To replace or remove the attach- ments, turn these anti-clockwise.
- Switch on the massager with the on/off button (
- When you press the buttons, a short acoustic signal sounds as confirmation. After this, the current bat
tery state is displayed for 2 seconds and the massage then starts with the intensity level that was most recently selected.
- For the warming attachment (5), the application of heat can also be switched on or off by pressing the button once. Press again to switch off the heat function. The heat function is only available with the supplied warming attachment (5).
- Use the intensity selection buttons (+/-) to set the massage intensity you want. There are 5 different massage intensities available. Press the (+) button for a higher intensity. Press the (-) button for a lower intensity.
- Move the device to the part of the body you want to massage. You may be sitting or standing for this and you can use the device to massage yourself or another person.
- You can change the massage pressure by pressing the massager firmly or more gently.
- After a maximum usage time of 20 minutes, switch the device off and leave it to cool down.
- The device also has an automatic switch-off time of 20 minutes.
- Keep the device dry. Note Do not use the massage device just before going to bed. The massage can also have a stimulating effect and may cause difficulties in getting off to sleep.16 WARNING
The massage must be pleasant and relaxing at all times. Stop the massage or change the position of the massage device if you find it is painful or unpleasant.
Do not jam or force any part of your body, in particular your fingers, into the area of the massage head.
Cleaning First unplug the device and allow it to cool off. Then you can clean it with a cloth which is no more than lightly moistened. You can also use a mild detergent. WARNING
Disconnect the device before cleaning it.
Only clean the appliance in the manner specified. Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the device or accessories.
Do not use the device again until it is completely dry. Storage Keep the massage device in a cool and dry place where it is out of the reach of children. We recommend storing the device in its original packaging.
8. In the event of problems?

Device is not switched on. Switch on the device. Device has switched off automatically (automatic switch-off). Stop use and allow the device to cool down. Heat function will not switch on.
