USER MANUAL KVR 296 Koenic
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the product.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised.
- Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care. Safety instructions
- Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.
- Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
- Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
- Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.
- The mains voltage must match the infor- mation on the rating label of the product.
- Only unplug from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
- Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
- Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.
- Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
- Unplug the product ... - when the product is not being used, - in case of malfunctions, - before attaching / detaching accessories and - before cleaning the product.

- Do not allow the product to operate unsupervised.
- Make sure that the motor unit and supply cord do not become wet.
- Use accessories supplied with the device or recommended by the manufacturer only!

- Never expose the product/rechargeable batteries to excessive heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never throw them into fire. The rechargeable batteries could explode.
- The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced
- Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the rechargeable battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!

Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference. Intended use The vacuum cleaner is designed only to vacuum dry dust and dirt. Using it for anything else can damage the device or cause injury. Before first time use Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care. Before first time use the built-in batteries must be charged for at least 4 hours, please refer to chapter Charging batteries. Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will help to conserve resources and protect the environment. Attach both floor support parts together and put on the charging base.
Plug one end of the adapter into the DC IN jack of the charging base .
Connect the adaptor to an electrical outlet. Handstick vacuum cleaner
Raise the handle and lock into place. To fold back the handle, press the unlocking knob and release the handle.
Plug the handstick vacuum cleaner into the floor nozzle and lock into place. To release the floor nozzle, press the unlocking knob and pull the handstick vacuum cleaner out of the nozzle.
Insert the handheld vacuum cleaner into the handstick vacuum cleaner and lock into place. Note: Make sure that the contacts of the handheld vacuum cleaner and handstick vacuum cleaner are not dirty. Clean the contacts if necessary. Charging batteries
Insert the handstick vacuum cleaner into the charging base. Note:
- Make sure that the contacts of the handstick vacuum cleaner and charging base are not dirty. Clean the contacts if necessary.
- When the handstick vacuum cleaner is inserted into the charger, the product is automatically switched o, should it have still been left on by accident.
- It is normal for the charging base and vacuum cleaner to become hot. It’s not a cause for concern.
- The vacuum cleaner can be charged at any time when it is not in use.
The LED indicator flashes in blue and indicates the battery is being charged. The indicator turns on steady blue, when the battery is fully charged. Remove the handstick vacuum cleaner from the charging base. Press the On/O button to turn on. The operation indicators on the floor noozle light up and indicate that the brush roller is turning. Vacuum Power On/O button Function/Power 1 x On/ High power 2 x Low power 3 x O
During short pause while vacuuming, the handstick vacuum cleaner can be left standing upright anywhere in the room. Tilt the vacuum cleaner slightly forwards in the direction of the nozzle until it locks into place. Warning! When the handstick vacuum cleaner is left standing, it must be switched o, because if the brush is turning while the product is standing , it could cause damage to the floor surface.
After vacuuming, press the On/O button to turn o the product and return it to the charging base. Using handheld vacuum cleaner
Press the release button to unlock the handheld vacuum cleaner and take it from the handstick vacuum cleaner.
Press On/O button to turn on/o the handheld vacuum cleaner.
For charging, return the handheld vacuum cleaner back to the handstick vacuum cleaner and ensure it locks into place. Upholstery and Crevice nozzle
For vacuuming upholstered furniture, mattresses, cushions, curtains, etc., insert the upholstery nozzle into the air intake opening of the handheld vacuum cleaner. For vacuuming folds, crevices and corners, insert the crevice nozzle into the air intake opening of the handheld vacuum cleaner. The floor nozzle should be cleaned at regular intervals. To clean it, release the floor noozle from the handstick vacuum cleaner. Press the unlock button to release the brush roller.
Take out the brush roller from the nozzle. Cut through threads and hairs wounded round the rollers using scissors and remove them. Note: If the wheels are blocked with threads and hairs, use a flat screw driver to remove them carefully. Re-assemble all of the components that have previously been removed. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. Note:
- Floor nozzles are subject to a certain amount of wear, depending on the type of hard floors you have (e.g. rough, rustic tiles). Therefore, you must check the underside of the floor nozzle at regular intervals.
- Worn undersides of floor nozzles may have sharp edges that can damage sensitive hard floors, such as parquet or linoleum. Imtron does not accept any responsibility for damage caused by worn floor nozzles. Cleaning and care Warning!
- When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
- Never immerse any electrical parts of the product in water or in other liquids during cleaning. Never place it under running water. Emptying dust container and cleaning filters Note: The dust container should be emptied every time after vacuuming.
Remove the handheld vacuum cleaner from the handstick vacuum cleaner. Press the release button to unlock the dust container and remove it from the suction unit.
Remove the dirt filter and textile filter from the dust container and clean them by tapping out or brushing out the dirt. If heavily soiled, the dirt filter can be washed out. Ensure to dry it completely before re- assembly.
Empty the dust container. If heavily soiled, the dust container can be rinsed under running water. Wipe and dry the container with a dry cloth. Assembly dust container and filters
