Cast-iron can be heated to very high temperatures and provides optimal heat distribution as well as optimal heat retention. Two in one – one side for the perfect grill pattern. The other side – the griddle plate for multifunctional use. The ribbed front is perfectly suited for quick roasting meats and vegetables etc. with superb grill marks. The smooth back side can be used for frying eggs, crêpes and much more. The Two-part Cast Iron Cooking Grid can be used on a gas or charcoal grill.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Clean the Two-part Cast Iron Cooking Grid with water prior to its first use. Only touch the accessories with barbecue gloves during use on the barbecue. Do not put the Two-part Cast Iron Cooking Grid on flammable or heat-sensitive surfaces while hot. Always pre-heat it on level for a minimum of 5 minutes.

CLEANING
- Leave the Two-part Cast Iron Cooking Grid on the barbecue to burn out at full capacity for about 10 minutes
- Use a brush with brass bristles (no steel bristles)
- Then let it cool down
- Use OUTDOORCHEF BARBECUE-CLEANER for thoroughly cleaning off stubborn dirt
- Tipightly oil with food-grade oil after cleaning.

INGREDIENTS
4 sausages
PREPARATION
If the sausages have been vacuum-packed, take them out of the packaging and dab-dry. Cut the sausages thinly. Place the sausages in a preheated grill and, depending on the type of sausage, grill them indirectly on the cooking grid at 220^ C for about 5 to 10 minutes. Do not grill the sausages at too high a temperature; a burned sausage tastes bitter.
TIP
Serve with coarse-grained mustard.

T-BONE STEAK

INGREDIENTS
2 T-bone steaks of about 700 g sea salt
3 g crushed black peppercorns
PREPARATION
Take the meat out of the refrigerator 2 hours in advance, so that it can reach room temperature. Grill the steaks at high heat for 3 to 4 minutes on the griddle plate, then turn them over and grill the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes, until the steak reaches a core temperature of 51°C. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving and season with salt and pepper.
BACON AND EGGS

INGREDIENTS
8 slices of breakfast bacon
4 eggs
salt, freshly ground pepper
some oil for frying
PREPARATION
Heat the oil lightly on the griddle plate and fry the bacon at medium heat on both sides for about 2 minutes, until it is crisp. Carefully break the eggs and let them slide onto the plate, frying them at medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. The egg yolk should be warm. Before serving, place the bacon on some kitchen towel to drain off excess fat. Season the eggs with salt and pepper and serve together with the bacon.
TIP
You can also grill 8 slices of toast on the grill side at the same time.
