  • Read these instructions carefully before swit- ching on the appliance and keep them for fu- ture reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident.
  • The appliance must be used and placed on a at, stable sur- face.
  • When the appliance is placed on its support, make sure that the surface on which it is pla- ced is stable.
  • This symbol means that surface could to get hot during the use.
  • Never leave the appliance una- ttended while it is connected to the mains supply.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 year and abo- ve and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experien- ce and knowledge only if they are supervised and have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children must not clean or maintain the appliance unless supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age.
  • This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the oor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.

  • Never leave the appliance connected and una- ttended if is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of the appliance.
  • Never rest the appliance on a surface while in use.
  • Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or animal.

  • Do not use the appliance to dry textiles of any kind.
  • To switch the appliance off, press the ECO bu- tton for 3 seconds. SERVICE:
  • Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by specialist personnel, and that only original spare parts or accessories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.

  • Make sure that all of the products’ packaging has been removed.
  • Some parts of the appliance have been light- ly greased. Consequently, the rst time the appliance is used a light smoke may be de- tected. After a short time, this smoke will di- sappear.
  • Prepare the appliance according to the func- tion you wish to use: FILLING WITH WATER:
  • It is essential to have lled the tank with water to be able to work with steam.
  • Fill the tank, taking care to observe the MAX level (Fig.1).
  • Close water inlet lid.
  • Use of scented water automatically cancels the warranty
  • If, during ironing, the water tank runs dry, theEN pump will automatically switch off after 25” to 30” to protect the micro-pump
  • If the appliance were to run out of water com- pletely with the steam selector activated, you would hear a strange noise from the mi- cro-pump. Switch off the steam selector to pre- vent any damage to the system.
  • Switch off the appliance and ll the water tank. When switching it on again, this noise will di- sappear. USE:
  • Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
  • Connect the appliance to the mains. - Once plugged in the appliance begins to heat up to its default ECO setting. Automatic tempe- rature for all fabrics and optimised steam ow for efcient, safe ironing.
  • Do not use temperatures higher than those in- dicated on the garments to be treated.
  • ECO Temperature for synthetic bres (Polyes- ter, Nylon…). Setting ●
  • ECO Temperature for silk, wool.
  • TURBO Temperature for cotton. (Minimum temperature for ironing with steam)
  • If garment has various kinds of bres, select the temperature for the bre that requires the lowest temperature. (For example, select the temperature for polyester for an article made out of 60% polyester and 40% cotton).
  • Wait until the indicator (G) is lit steady green, this means that the appliance has reached temperature, while it is heating or cooling the indicator will ash red.
  • - While using the appliance the indicator light (G) remains a steady green PRESENCE SENSOR (D)
  • The CVG is equipped with a presence sensor (D) that instantly shuts off the steam outlet if the handle is not being held. This leads to energy savings and increased autonomy of the water tank (lower water consumption).
  • Steam ow is automatically re-established by holding the handle on the CVG
  • Removing your hand from the handle does not switch off the selected steam function, it only interrupts the steam ow temporarily until it de- tects that the handle is being gripped again. The screen continues to display the icon for the selected steam function. DRY IRONING:
  • The appliance has a steam control button (C) which, when set to off, allows dry ironing (without steam) or with steam if it is switched on, a light indicates its status, on/enabled off/ disabled. STEAM IRONING:
  • It is possible to iron with steam as long as the tank has water and at any setting. STEAM BLAST:
  • This function proportions extra steam for elimi- nating wrinkles.
  • Press the steam blast button (B), always in the TURBO position, and wait a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the bres of the gar- ment before pressing the button again. For op- timum steam quality, do not apply more than two successive blasts at a time. If the steam indicator ashes DO NOT USE THE SUPERS- TEAM FUNCTION
  • The steam blast button has to be pressed re- peatedly to release the rst shot. VERTICAL STEAMING:
  • It is possible to iron hanging curtains, items of clothing on hangers, etc. To do so, follow the instructions:
  • Iron from top to bottom while pressing the steam control (B), follow the instructions given in the Steam Blast section.
  • Important: for cotton and linen, it is recommen- ded to have the soleplate in contact with the material. For other more delicate fabrics, it is recommended to keep the soleplate a few cen- timetres away from the fabric. STAND-BY FUNCTION:
  • In order to save energy, the appliance passes to stand-by after 3 minutes if the user does not use it.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains.
  • Drain the water out of the appliance.
  • Clean the appliance. CLEANING
  • Disconnect the appliance from the mains andallow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
  • Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
  • Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive pro- ducts, for cleaning the appliance.
  • Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water. HOW TO DEAL WITH LIME SCALE INCRUS- TATIONS:
  • For the appliance to work correctly it should be kept free of limescale or magnesium incrusta- tions caused by the use of hard water.
  • To avoid this kind of problem it is advisable to use distilled water.
  • To prevent this kind of problem, we recom- mend the use of water with low lime or magne- sium mineralisation.
  • To do so, we recommend the use of the speci- c product for this kind of appliance, which can be found in specialised shops and authorised technical services.
  • A specic anti-lime scale product should be used on this kind of product.
  • Home-made solutions, such as the use of vi- negar, are not recommended for descaling this appliance.

ANOMALIES AND REPAIR

  • Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if product is damaged or other problems arise. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance yourself as this may be dangerous. FOR EU PRODUCT VERSIONS AND/OR IF REQUESTED IN YOUR COUNTRY:
  • The materials used for the packaging of this appliance are included in a disposal, classi- cation and recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of them, use the appropriate public recycling bins for each type of material.
